At the start of NXT tonight, we’ll find out Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin’s challengers for Stand & Deliver.
WWE has announced that The LWO (Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro) vs. Axiom & Nathan Frazer vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson is kicking off tonight’s NXT episode. The winning team advances to Stand & Deliver this Saturday to challenge Breakker & Corbin for the NXT Tag Team titles.
Wilde & Del Toro, Axiom & Frazer, and Gallows & Anderson all won qualifying matches over the past few weeks to advance to tonight’s triple threat.
After winning the 2024 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, Breakker & Corbin defeated Tony D’Angelo & Stacks for the NXT Tag Team titles this February.
The Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia is hosting NXT Stand & Deliver this Saturday afternoon. Airing live on Peacock, the main card has a start time of noon Eastern.
Here’s everything that’s been announced for tonight’s NXT:
Two teams have advanced in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament.
Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin and Axiom & Nathan Frazer won their first round matches on Tuesday. Breakker and Corbin defeated Gallus, while Axiom & Frazer defeated Hank Walker & Tank Ledger. They will now face each other in the semifinals.
The rest of the tournament bracket was also revealed on Tuesday. Next week’s matches will see Chase U (Riley Osborne & Duke Hudson) take on LWO (Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro), while Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams will face Edris Enofe & Malik Blade. The finals will take place at NXT Vengeance Day on February 4.
Earlier on NXT, Hayes told Williams that he had secured the final spot in the tournament. Williams wasn’t sure about entering, instead wanting to focus on his future NXT Championship match. He warmed up to the idea, however, once Hayes brought up that Williams could become a double champion.
The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is making its return after no tournament was held in 2023. The winners of the 2022 tournament were The Creed Brothers for the men’s tournament and the team of Kay Lee Ray (Alba Fyre) and Io Shirai (IYO SKY) in the women’s tournament.
This week’s WWE Main Event was taped at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma before Monday’s episode of Raw.
Two fine matches, with returns to the show from NXT talent Trick Williams and Nathan Frazer, made for a solid episode again this week.
Chad Gable (w/ Otis and Maxine Durpis) defeated Trick Williams (5:39)
This was ok for what it was. It’s always fun seeing someone like Chad Gable on this show because he’s always entertaining. He and Williams did well together, but nothing too dazzling here.
It was September of last year when Gable and Otis were last on Main Event, but back then they were in tag action against Mustafa Ali and Shelton Benjamin.
Meanwhile, Trick Williams has worked this show three times and is yet to get his hand raised, with his last outing against Akira Tozawa back in March.
They did some neat mat work early on, reversing each other and trying to get quick pins. Gable came off the second rope with a headbutt but couldn’t get it done as Williams fought his way out of the ankle lock.
There was a little bit of sloppiness in the closing moments, but they covered it over with Williams missing a charge to the corner before Gable hit a German and used the Chaos Theory suplex to get the pin.
Akira Tozawa defeated Nathan Frazer (7:22)
This was a good, solid match but it never peaked to where you’d think it might. Tozawa has been superb on Main Event this year and gets nowhere enough credit for the job he does.
So, these two had this match back in May on this show and it was Tozawa who also got the victory there, but I hadn’t realized that they then faced off in NXT last month with Frazer getting one back over on him.
As is often the pattern in Tozawa matches, he took a beating early on and it culminated with Frazer hitting a tope onto Tozawa as we took what felt like a very early break for the adverts.
When they returned, Frazer had a submission hold locked in. They rested like this for a while until Tozawa worked his way out and hit an enzuigiri and a top rope back elbow for two.
The finish was all built around the pair on the top rope. Frazer missed a splash, but Tozawa was able to connect with his senton to get the win.
It felt like Frazer ought to have won this one because it doesn’t really help to elevate Tozawa, but otherwise, this was a good curtain-jerker for this pre-Raw crowd.
NXT’s Global Heritage Invitational tournament will begin with two matches taking place this Tuesday night.
WWE has announced that Butch vs. Charlie Dempsey and Nathan Frazer vs. Joe Coffey are set for Tuesday’s episode of NXT. Butch and Dempsey are part of Group A for the Heritage Invitational, while Frazer and Coffey are in Group B.
The round-robin tournament is being held to determine who will challenge Noam Dar for the Heritage Cup at NXT No Mercy on Saturday, September 30. The groups for the tournament are listed below:
Group A —
Tyler Bate
Butch
Charlie Dempsey
Axiom
Group B —
Joe Coffey
Duke Hudson
Nathan Frazer
Akira Tozawa
All Heritage Invitational tournament matches will have a 12-minute time limit. Victories are worth two points. If a match ends in a draw, each wrestler will earn one point. The winner of Group A will face the winner of Group B in the finals on the Tuesday, September 26 edition of NXT.
Here’s everything that’s been announced for this Tuesday’s NXT:
Steel cage match: The Creed Brothers vs. The Dyad (if the Creed Brothers win, they are reinstated in NXT)
NXT Women’s Championship number one contender’s match: Blair Davenport vs. Gigi Dolin vs. Kiana James vs. Roxanne Perez
Global Heritage Invitational match: Butch vs. Charlie Dempsey
Global Heritage Invitational match: Nathan Frazer vs. Joe Coffey
Eddy Thorpe vs. Dijak
Tyler Bate vs. Dabba-Kato
Dana Brooke & Kelani Jordan vs. Elektra Lopez & Lola Vice
Frazer won the championship on Tuesday’s NXT. The finish of the match had both Frazer and Oro Mensah tied at 1 one fall each. Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend hopped up on the apron and attempted to distract the referee to help Mensah. Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz emerged and took them off the apron. This allowed Frazer to hit a phoenix splash and pin Mensah. Per the rules of the Heritage Cup, this gave the win and the trophy to Frazer.
Originally, Noam Dar was set to defend the trophy against Frazer. Before the match, Dar appeared on crutches and announced that he would not be able to wrestle due to injury and said Mensah would defend the title in his place.
Dar had been Heritage Champion dating back to July 7 of last year. When he returned to NXT television in April, he carried the trophy with him. At Battleground last month, he retained the trophy against Dragon Lee thanks to help from Legend, Jackson, and Mensah, forming a new stable called the Meta-Four.
A match between Noam Dar and Nathan Frazer will take place on next week’s NXT.
Frazer interrupted Dar’s Supernova Sessions talk show on Tuesday’s show. Frazer called Dar a fraud and suggested that Dragon Lee, Dar’s guest, should get a shot at the Heritage Cup trophy. Dar eventually agreed to both a match against Lee for the trophy at Battleground and a match against Frazer for next week’s NXT in a match where the trophy isn’t on the line.
The Women’s Championship tournament will also continue, with Tiffany Stratton taking on Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade squaring off against Lyra Valkyria. The winners of these two matches will face off in the finals at NXT Battleground on May 28.
Hank Walker is also set to square off against new tag team partner Tank Ledger. After Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen told the two that facing off against one another made them closer than ever, Ledger suggested to Walker that they face off in order to become closer as a team. Walker was skeptical about facing off against Ledger, but eventually agreed.
Here is what is confirmed so far for next week’s NXT:
Noam Dar vs. Nathan Frazer
NXT Women’s Championship tournament semifinals: Roxanne Perez vs. Tiffany Stratton
NXT Women’s Championship tournament semifinals: Lyra Valkyria vs. Cora Jade
Last week’s WWE Main Event was taped at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, before Raw.
Emma defeated Roxanne Perez (6:10)
This was a good match that allowed Perez to show what she could do while giving Emma her first appearance on the show in over six years.
As she made her way to the ring, they gave the debutante Perez an inset promo. At just 21, she is really quite impressive. She referred to the fact that she is a former NXT Women’s Champion and that she would show everyone tonight why they call her “the prodigy.”
For Emma, this was her first outing on Main Event since 2017. Back then, she was facing the likes of Mickie James and was probably still doing her wacky dance on her way to the ring. She looked far more assured as she entered here in 2023.
After looking like it was going to be a friendly contest in the early going, Emma turned on Perez and shoved her to the floor. Perez was athletic and agile here, showing that she is a natural gymnast and does way more than just the fundamentals.
Emma took most of the match, working over Perez’s lower back. Eventually, Perez got some hope and fired up with a series of strikes and running European uppercuts. She went up to top, but Emma had it scouted and toppled her to the mat.
Emma used a new finisher here to get the win — the Widow’s Peak — previously used by Victoria. It looks a little ungainly to get her opponent locked in, but there’s no doubt it’s a dangerous looking move that could really get over.
Akira Tozawa defeated Nathan Frazer (8:52)
This was yet another good match on Main Event involving Tozawa who gave the impressive Frazer a platform to show what he can do.
They also gave Frazer an inset promo as he made his entrance. In previous weeks, this has only been used for the opener. He said we had to obey three words (Never. Slow. Down.”) and warned us that we shouldn’t blink or we might just miss it.
This was Frazer’s second Main Event appearance as last time out, he lost to Bronson Reed. That was more of an extended squash and thus, this was a much better way for him to showcase his in-ring style.
Tozawa practically feels like a trainer these days. Every week he puts over a different fresh face, bumping all over for them, never putting in a bad performance. If he’s happy in this spot, it’s ideal. But, he does deserve a run on the main roster at some point.
Before the break, they put on lots of intricate mat work and got the crowd’s appreciation for the technical skill on display. They built to a point where Frazer nailed Tozawa with a springboard dropkick off the apron before the ad break.
Frazer then locked in a cravat for a long period as Tozawa tried everything to work his way out of it. He then fired up with a German suplex, running leg lariat, and a top rope back elbow for a two count.
Tozawa kicked out of a Cross Rhodes before they went to the finish with Tozawa coming off the top rope for the senton to grab only his third win in 2023.
Final Thoughts:
Two really good matches made this episode very strong indeed. It goes without saying that Perez has a huge future ahead of her, but so does Frazer who could become a really accomplished in-ring performer. Credit yet again goes to Tozawa, who is such a safe pair of hands and never gives anything other than his best.
Dragon Lee will be in one-on-one action on tonight’s episode of NXT.
WWE has announced that Lee will face Nathan Frazer on NXT tonight. It’s the first time Lee has wrestled on an episode of NXT television.
After announcing in December that he had signed with WWE, Lee worked through visa issues and arrived in NXT last month. He made his televised in-ring debut at NXT Stand & Deliver this past Saturday, competing in a fatal five-way match for the NXT North American Championship.
Wes Lee retained the North American title by defeating Dragon Lee, Ilja Dragunov, JD McDonagh, and Axiom at Stand & Deliver. Lee pinned Dragunov to win the match.
Frazer nearly qualified for the North American title match. A qualifying battle royal on last week’s NXT came down to Axiom and Frazer. Axiom eliminated Frazer to earn a spot at Stand & Deliver.
The fallout from Stand & Deliver will take place on NXT tonight. Carmelo Hayes will likely make his first appearance as NXT Champion. The following matches have been announced for the show:
Last week’s WWE Main Event was taped at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri, before Monday’s WWE Raw. This week featured a debut and a return from two NXT stars.
Bronson Reed defeated Nathan Frazer (4:31)
This was what you would expect with Reed absolutely dominating with Frazer managing to looked good in his main roster debut.
They gave the debutante an inset promo on his way to the ring. He told us to watch carefully because blink and we’d miss it. He certainly has time on his side. At the age of 24 and having been around NXT UK and then the main NXT roster the last year, Frazer has a great deal to offer.
It was all Reed in this one. Frazer could barely get him off his feet, but he finally did, getting some shine with a cool springboard dropkick that toppled him. A sweet standing moonsault got a two count, but that was about as much as Reed could take or Frazer could muster.
In the end, Frazer missed a charge and Reed nailed him with a power bomb. Reed then came off the top rope with his splash they they are now calling the Tsunami. I’m sure at some point that’s a name they’ll have to ban.
Shelton Benjamin (w/ Cedric Alexander & MVP) defeated Charlie Dempsey (7:24)
This was Dempsey’s first match back since a mid-January Main Event when he was defeated by Dexter Lumis.
Benjamin and Dempsey gelled well here and put together a really good match with some really creative spots.
This won’t be for everyone’s taste since it involved a lot of intricate mat work, but, for me, it was far more interesting than what we usually get on Main Event. Dempsey is a little bit special and certainly offers something different than most of the guys on the main roster do.
After Dempsey got the better of Benjamin in the first half, they came back from commercial with Dempsey clamping in a hammerlock on the mat. Benjamin kept rolling through trying to break it, but Dempsey kept changing the torque and reapplying pressure.
When Benjamin tried to power out of the submission hold with a gut-wrench powerbomb, Dempsey just hammered away, clubbing Benjamin’s left shoulder so he had to drop him.
Dempsey went for a very cool looking bridging pin, where even the ref sold how unusual it looked, taking a moment to realize it was a cover before he counted the two.
After Dempsey landed some European uppercuts, both men looked out on their feet. The veteran blocked another strike and hit Dempsey with a high knee before nailing him with Paydirt for the win.
Final Thoughts:
It was good to see a fresh face this week and even better to see Dempsey back in action on Main Event. They could do both of these matches again next week and I would be more than happy. Dempsey needs some careful handling as with the wrong person in gorilla, he could easily get buried.
Frazer accepted Wes Lee’s North American Championship open challenge that began at the start of Tuesday’s NXT, edging out others who were battling for the spot backstage. Although the two had a back and forth match, Frazer ultimately turned up short against Lee, who retained his championship.
Later in the show, Frazer was seen with McKenzie Mitchell in the medical area recovering. However, before he was interviewed, word got out that Wendy Choo had been attacked in the NXT parking lot. Mitchell left Frazer to cover the incident.
Frazer had not been wrestling in recent months due to unspecified issues. His last match was at Halloween Havoc back in October, where he lost in the five-way ladder match for the North American Championship. At the February 11 NXT house show in Citrus Springs, Florida, Frazer made his in-ring return teaming with Axion and Lee in a successful effort against the Schism (Jagger Reid, Joe Gacy, and Rip Fowler).
Nathan Frazer is the fifth and final participant in the upcoming ladder match set for NXT Halloween Havoc.
Frazer defeated Axiom in their best of three series to earn the final spot in the ladder match for the vacant North American Championship on October 22. The finish came after the two countered roll-up attempts, with Frazer getting the upper hand for the win. Frazer now joins Carmelo Hayes, Oro Mensah, Wes Lee, and Von Wagner.
The North American title was vacated last month after it was determined Solo Sikoa could not be champion due to not being a contender for the championship. Shawn Micheals instead made a ladder match for Halloween Havoc, with former champion Carmelo Hayes being the first to qualify.
Here is the latest lineup for Halloween Havoc, which will air on Peacock:
NXT Championship: Bron Breakker vs. Ilja Dragunov vs. JD McDonagh
NXT Women’s Championship: Mandy Rose vs. Alba Fyre
Grayson Waller vs. Apollo Crews
Ladder match for the NXT North American Championship: Carmelo Hayes vs. Oro Mensah vs. Wes Lee vs. Von Wagner vs. Nathan Frazer
Weapons wild match: Roxanne Perez vs. Cora Jade
Ambulance match: Damon Kemp vs. Julius Creed – if Julius loses, Brutus Creed will have to leave NXT
Tonight’s NXT is the second-to-last episode of the show before Halloween Havoc.
The field for the North American Championship ladder match at Halloween Havoc will be finalized as Nathan Frazer and Axiom compete in a qualifier tonight. It’s the final match in Frazer and Axiom’s best-of-three series.
Carmelo Hayes, Oro Mensah, Wes Lee, and Von Wagner have already qualified for the ladder match for the vacant North American title. Lee will be in action against Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo tonight.
The next challengers for Pretty Deadly’s NXT Tag Team titles will be determined by a triple threat match on tonight’s show. The match will feature Malik Blade & Edris Enofe, Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen, and The Dyad.
The feud between Alba Fyre and Toxic Attraction will continue as Fyre takes on Jacy Jayne.
Plus, a non-title match between NXT Champion Bron Breakker and Javier Bernal will open the episode. Breakker is set to defend his title against JD McDonagh and Ilja Dragunov at Halloween Havoc.
Our live coverage begins at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
**********
Vic Joseph welcomed the fans to the show and introduced his new broadcast partner Booker T.
Non-title: NXT Champion Bron Breakker defeated Javier Bernal (3:20)
Breakker and Bernal had a surprisingly fun match considering it was basically a squash. It was more about making Breakker look strong heading into Halloween Havoc.
Breakker was firmly in control, but Bernal tried to fight back. Breakker took down Bernal with a hard clothesline. After a whip into the corner, Breakker hit a belly-to-belly suplex.
Breakker made the mistake of putting his head down, and Bernal caught him with a kick to the face. Breakker caught Bernal with a bulldog, but Bernal kicked him in the face again. Breakker shook it off and threw Bernal off the top rope. Breakker finished him off with the press slam for the win.
After the match, J.D. McDonagh jumped in the ring, but Ilja Dragunov’s music hit. All three faced off in the ring when McDonagh rocked Dragunov with a headbutt sending him out of the ring. As Breakker and McDonagh brawled, Dragunov rocked Breakker a headbutt, and McDonagh jumped out of the ring. Dragunov posed with the title over a fallen Breakker. The commentators pushed that Dragunov hit Breakker on purpose.

Alba Fyre narrated a recap of her feud with Toxic Attraction.
A video package recapped the Best of three series between Axiom and Nathan Frazer.
Nathan Frazer defeated Axiom (12:52)
Frazer and Axiom had an awesome fast-paced, hard-hitting, and high-flying match. They both worked hard and took some insane bumps.
They started slowly, with Axiom working over Frazer’s arm. Frazer avoided Axiom with a back flip off the top rope. Frazer then hit a sweet-looking moonsault off the middle rope into a reverse DDT. Axiom slipped out, and they faced off.
They reset with a test of strength. Frazer dumped Axiom over the top rope, but Axiom fought him off. He slowly climbed to the top rope when Frazer ran up to meet him. Axiom knocked him off, but he recovered. He attempted a hurricanrana, but Axiom caught him in a powerbomb position and just dropped on the top turnbuckle.
During the break, Frazer regained control and slowed the pace with a chin lock. Axiom escaped, but Frazer caught him in a Boston crab instead. Axiom broke free and gave Frazer a German suplex off the middle rope. He followed up with a flying crossbody for a two-count.
They fought around ringside, with Axiom barely beating the ten count. Frazer attempted a Phoenix splash, but Axiom caught him in an armbar. Axiom switched into another submission, but Frazer escaped. Axiom sent Frazer to the floor and hit a moonsault.
Later, Frazer gave Axiom a superplex and rolled through, but Axiom reversed into submission.
They traded shots on their knees in the middle of the ring. After a near double-pin, Frazer rocked Axiom with a superkick, but Axiom bounced back with one of his own. Axiom rocked Frazer with a stiff knee. The finish came when they traded pin attempts, and Frazer held on for the win.
Frazer advances to the NXT North American title ladder match at Halloween Havoc.

In the parking lot, McKenzie Mitchell interviewed Ilja Dragunov. She wondered if Dragunov meant to headbutt Breakker earlier. Grayson Waller approached and annoyed Dragunov so much that he decided to stay and have a much with Waller.
********
In the locker room, Valentina Feroz was happy Sanga would be in her corner for her match with Indie Hartwell. He promised to be in her corner. Indie Hartwell approached and was excited about their match too.
Apollo Crews was writing in his journal and had flashes of Chucky the Doll. Crews takes on Grayson Waller at Halloween Havoc.
Hartwell and Feroz had a weak match, with them seeming on different pages. They tried to tell the story that Feroz lost in part because she needed Sanga’s support but he walked out. That part of the story didn’t come across clearly. On the other hand, Hartwell’s superplex looked impressive.
Hartwell had the early advantage with a chin lock. Feroz caught Hartwell with a back elbow and locked on a submission. Hartwell escaped, but Feroz caught her in another submission. Hartwell made it the ropes to break the hold. Feroz jumped to her feet and rocked Hartwell with a running knee for a two-count.
During the match, Veer Mahan showed up and whispered at Sanga. Sanga looked at the ring and left with Mahan. It took Feroz a while before she noticed he had left.
Feroz charged at Hartwell, but she dumped her over the top rope. Hartwell then hit a superplex for the win.
********
After the match, Pretty Deadly showed up and mocked Hartwell. They turned their attention to the tag team match. They’re excited to watch the three teams destroy each other next.
McKenzie Mitchell interviewed Cora Jade about the pick your poison matches coming up. Jade’s talked to a few people about taking on Roxxane Perez. Jade was surprised to find out that Perez spoke with a few people on Raw and SmackDown. Perez is even going to SmackDown on Friday. Jade needs to make a few calls. She asked for Ronda’s number. Mitchell claimed not to have it but admitted she does when Jade left.
Triple Threat Number One Contender’s match: Malik Blade & Edris Enofe defeated Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen (w/Fallon Henley) and The Dyad (w/Joe Gacy) (12:30)
They packed a lot into 12 minutes and gave everyone a chance to shine. They also played to everyone’s strengths. Blade and Enofe did a lot of fast-paced and high-flying moves, while Briggs and Jensen hit all the power moves. The Dyad was great at everything they did.
The Dyad ran wild early and had the early advantage. As they looked up at Pretty Deadly, Jagger Reid, Rip Fowler, and Joe Gacy hugged at ringside. The Dyad isolated Blade on their side of the ring and cut him off from his corner.
Blade escaped and tagged in Enofe. They ran wild on The Dyad, but Briggs made the blind tag. He cleared the ring and tossed Reid over the top rope onto the pile. He then assisted Jensen in hitting a dive to the floor.
Back from the break, The Dyad was back in control. They attempted a double superplex, but Jensen gave them a double powerbomb at the same time.
Briggs got the hot tag and ran wild. At ringside, he tossed Blade into the ropes and destroyed him with a clothesline as he bounced back. Briggs and Jensen hit a series of running splashes on Reid and Enofe. Briggs rocked Enofe with a kick to the face for a near fall. Blade hit a flying crossbody onto Reid and Jensen.
Everyone took turns hitting a big move in the ring. Blade and Enofe ran wild and cleared the ring. Blade and Enofe then hit huge dives, wiping out the heels.
Joe Gacy was furious at ringside and attacked Blade. Suddenly, Cameron Grimes jumped Gacy and beat him down. The Dyad went for their finisher when Grimes pulled out Fowler, and Enofe rolled up Reid for the win.
Blade and Enofe are the number one contenders for the tag team titles.

McKenzie Mitchell interviewed Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin. Jayne promised to send Alba Fyre to Middle Earth. She teased a surprise for Fyre.
Kiana James was on the phone, busy at work. She’s got a match later with one of Chase U’s students.
Alba Fyre defeated Jacy Jayne (w/Gigi Dolin) (3:35)
Jayne and Fyre had a slow-paced match that dragged and drained the crowd. The highlight was after the match when SmackDown’s Sonya Deville showed up to attack Fyre. They seemed on different pages at times.
Fyre and Jayne traded forearm shots in the middle of the ring. Fyre tripped up Jayne, but Dolin caused a distraction. Jayne took advantage and rocked Fyre with a cannonball in the corner. Dolin slowed the pace down with a chin lock, but Fyre escaped. Jayne briefly ran wild and hit a neck breaker for a two-count.
Fyre recovered and hit a sit-out powerbomb for a near fall. Fyre hit a suicide dive wiping out Jayne and Dolin. She then finished off Jayne with the Gory Bomb for the win.
Fyre celebrated after the win and slowly walked up the ramp, slapping hands. Suddenly, a fan grabbed Fyre by the hair and slammed her head into the railing. The fan took off her hood to reveal Sonya Deville.
Deville, Dolin, and Jayne beat down Fyre around ringside. They finished her off with a triple powerbomb through the commentary table.
********
Joe Gacy and The Dyad was looking for Cameron Grimes in the back. They knocked down a cameraman. Gacy threatened Grimes that he’d have to face the Schism alone since he doesn’t trust anyone in NXT.
********
In the back, Hank Walker and Quincy Elliot were hanging out with security. Security loves the idea of them teaming up next week.
Wes Lee defeated Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo (3:55)
Lee and Stacks have a fun four-minute. They told the story that Stacks was out for revenge and tried to injure Lee’s knee. Still, Lee managed to hit some impressive high flying moves.
They recapped Tony D’Angelo injuring his knee the last time he took on Lee.
Stacks targeted Lee’s leg and gave him a chop block. Stacks slowed the pace down with a submission, but Lee broke free. Lee backed Stacks in the corner and hit a running uppercut. Lee was in control, but his leg gave out. Stacks took advantage and hit a torture rack into a neck breaker for a near fall. Lee then hit his finisher for the quick win.

Kiana James defeated Thea Hail (w/Chase U) (1:18)
Hail and James didn’t have a match, and instead, it turned into a lame segment with Robert Stone taking a back drop from Hail.
Robert Stone ran out and jumped in the ring before Hail and James could touch. He was furious that Thea Hail slammed him and promised to ruin her night. Instead, Hail backdropped Stone out of the ring. James took advantage and hit the 401 K for the win.

Van Wanger approached Robert Stone. He needs Stone to focus on the ladder match at Halloween Havoc for the NXT North American title.

Cora Jade barged in and started yelling at Micthell. She claimed that she just got off the phone with Rhea Ripley and she’s heading to Raw next week.
********
Ilja Dragunov defeated Grayson Waller (11:06)
Dragunov and Waller had another surprisingly good hard-hitting match, which seemed like a theme tonight. It was a fun ten-minute NXT main event, but the finish was weak and silly. The spin the wheel started spinning on its own at ringside, which distracted Waller leading to the finish. They never explained why the wheel was suddenly spinning.
Dragunov gained the early advantage with hard chops. He took Waller down to the mat, but Waller got to the ropes. Waller took advantage and caught Dragunov with a cheap shot. He then hit a sidekick and posed like Booker T to loud boos.
Back from the break, Waller was firmly in control. Dragunov recovered and caught Waller with an inside cradle for a near fall. Dragunov fired up and destroyed Waller with chops and a kick to the head. Dragunov went for a back suplex, but Waller caught him with another cheap shot.
Waller took over and beat down Dragunov with forearms. Waller hit an elbow drop off the middle rope for a near fall. He followed up with a sleeper, but Dragunov backed him into the corner. Dragunov then destroyed Waller with a vicious clothesline.
Waller regained control and hung Dragunov on the top rope. Waller ended up out of the ring in front of the “spin the wheel make the deal” wheel. It started spinning on its own, which freaked out Waller. He jumped back in the ring, but Dragunov hit a German suplex. He followed up with the torpedo for the win.
As Dragunov celebrated his win, Bron Breakker jumped into the ring and destroyed Dragunov with a spear. Breakker posed as the camera zoomed in over his shoulder to J.D. McDonagh clapping in the crowd.

Next Week: The Schism vs. Cameron Grimes and two mystery partners. Sonya Deville goes one-on-one with Alba Fyre. Plus, Stacks takes on Tony D’Angelo’s mystery opponent.
The fallout from Worlds Collide takes place on tonight’s edition of NXT.
Five matches have been announced for the episode. Nathan Frazer and Axiom will begin their best-of-three series, Wes Lee takes on JD McDonagh, Meiko Satomura faces Roxanne Perez, Ricochet will be in action against Trick Williams, and Doudrop & Nikki A.S.H. team up against Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne.
Three unified champions were crowned at Sunday’s Worlds Collide special. Bron Breakker defeated Tyler Bate to unify the NXT Championship with the NXT UK Championship. Mandy Rose won a triple threat match to unify the NXT Women’s Championship with the NXT UK Women’s Championship. And Pretty Deadly became the unified NXT Tag Team Champions by winning a fatal four-way match.
NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes and NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Katana Chance & Kayden Carter both fended off challenges on Sunday. Hayes defeated Ricochet, while Chance & Carter defeated Doudrop & Nikki A.S.H. Interference in those matches set up Ricochet and Doudrop & Nikki A.S.H.’s bouts for tonight.
Our live coverage begins at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
**********
The show opens with a monologue from Tyler Bate, just days after he lost the unification match to NXT Champion Bron Breakker.
Bate thanks the fans from the bottom of his heart. The live studio audience thanks him with a chant. Bate thanks everyone that backed NXT UK from the beginning.
Bate goes on to thanks Breakker, putting him over as the unified NXT Champion. Despite the loss, Bate says they created magic, he was grateful for that.
Bate notes his name will remain in the history books as the first and last NXT United Kingdom Champion. Bate attempts to continue speaking, but he is interrupted by the Gallus faction.
Those in Gallus feel that Bate should be apologizing instead of thanking people. He should apologize to everyone back home in Europe. Gallus thinks he let everyone down by losing the unification match last Sunday.
Bate responds by noting that Gallus did not hold their end of the bargain either. Gallus failed to win the NXT Tag Team Championship at Worlds Collide.
Gallus surround Bate with a three-on-one advantage. They attack Bate and beat him down. Breakker runs down for a save, and Breakker clears the ring. Breakker then grabs the house microphone to say he will join with Bate for a fight tonight. Looks like this sets up a tag match for later on.
NXT Tag Team Champions Pretty Deadly are backstage admiring two sets of tag title belts they won on Sunday. In comes Lash Legend, who tells Pretty Deadly some gossip that gets them angry.
A “digital exclusive” skit shows Cora Jade challenging Meiko Satomura to a match tonight, but Satomura informs her she is already booked in a bout against Jade’s rival — Roxanne Perez. An angry Jade storms off, clearly upset by again being upstaged by her rival.
The first match airing on tonight’s card was set up at Worlds Collide, when Toxic Attraction interfered in the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship match. That interference went on to cost Doudrop & Nikki A.S.H. their chance for a fair shot at the tag titles.

Doudrop also gets dropped with a soccer kick. The main roster duo is in peril as the show cuts to its first commercial break.
Part of the story in the match plays on Doudrop & Nikki having wrestled in three matches in the last several days. That includes traveling to and from Monday Night Raw.

Nathan Frazer is back from injury, and ended up confronting Giovanni Vinci on tonight’s NXT.
Frazer made his return to NXT on Tuesday’s show and said he was back following injury. He asked Chase U if he could be the honorary flag bearer in Andre Chase’s match against Giovanni Vinci. After Vinici won the match against Chase, Vinci continued to attack him. Frazer then came in and made the save for Chase.
Frazer announced back in June that he was dealing with an injury. He had not wrestled since a June 10 NXT house show in Tampa, Florida, where he lost a NXT North American title match to champion Carmelo Hayes. Earlier this year, Frazer made the jump from NXT UK to the main NXT roster, where he defeated Grayson Waller at NXT Spring Breakin’. He also defeated Santos Escobar on the June 7 edition of NXT.
Tonight’s match was made after the Chase U bus blocked Vinici’s vehicle outside of the WWE Performance Center on last week’s show, with Vinci and Bodi Hayward exchanging words.
The British wrestler revealed the news on Tuesday. The nature of his injury and how long he’ll be out of action are not currently known.
“Dealing with a little injury right now, I’ll be back before you know it,” he wrote on Twitter.
Frazer hasn’t wrestled since a June 10 NXT house show from Tampa, Florida. He was defeated by Carmelo Hayes in a North American title match that night.
Frazer recently moved to NXT from NXT UK after losing a title match to Ilja Dragunov on March 3. Since moving to the brand, his record sits at two wins, two losses, and one no-contest including his house show loss to Hayes. He defeated Grayson Waller in his NXT debut at Spring Breakin’ and then went to a no-contest with Wes Lee on May 17. After that, he lost a match to Cameron Grimes on the May 31 show and defeated Santo Escobar on June 7.
