Moment of Bliss with Orton set for WWE Raw, McIntyre to open show

Following last night’s title change, new WWE Champion Randy Orton and former champion Drew McIntyre are set to make appearances on tonight’s episode of Raw.

Last night’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view ended with Orton defeating McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell match to win the WWE Championship. Tonight, Orton will be Alexa Bliss’ guest on A Moment of Bliss. Bliss is aligned with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt. Bliss and Wyatt both moved to Raw in the WWE Draft earlier this month.

This is Orton’s 14th reign as a WWE World Champion.

WWE has also announced that McIntyre will kick off tonight’s Raw. Prior to losing the title to Orton last night, McIntyre had been WWE Champion since defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 this April.

McIntyre tweeted today: “To everyone who has taken time out of their day to send me a message of support, thank you, it means the world to me. I’ll be opening up #WWERaw and I have something I want to say…”

The build to Survivor Series will begin on Raw tonight. There will be three Survivor Series qualifying matches on the episode. They are: Jeff Hardy vs. AJ Styles, Sheamus vs. Matt Riddle, and Keith Lee vs. Elias. The winners will qualify for Team Raw in this year’s Survivor Series men’s elimination match.

Survivor Series is taking place on Sunday, November 22.

Styles vs. Zayn, Moment of Bliss segment set for WWE SmackDown

A new match and segment have been added to the lineup for this week’s episode of SmackDown.

WWE has announced that AJ Styles vs. Sami Zayn will take place on SmackDown this Friday. There will also be a Moment of Bliss segment on the episode with Nikki Cross appearing as Alexa Bliss’ guest.

Former champions Styles and Zayn are involved in a three-way feud with Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy. On SmackDown last week, Zayn interrupted an Intercontinental title match between Hardy and Styles and attacked both of them.

Nikki Cross won a fatal four-way number one contender’s match against Tamina, Lacey Evans, and Bliss on SmackDown last Friday and will challenge Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Clash of Champions later this month. Bliss hit a Sister Abigail on Cross outside of the ring during the match and then walked out like she was in a trance. The storyline is that Bliss has been changed by her experiences with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.

Cross did a post-show interview last week and promised that she’s going to save Bliss.

Roman Reigns & Jey Uso will team together against Baron Corbin & Sheamus in a Samoan street fight on this Friday’s SmackDown. After being attacked by Bayley two weeks ago, Sasha Banks will return on this week’s show and respond to Bayley.

Bray Wyatt, Alexa Bliss segments set for WWE SmackDown

Two segments have been announced for SmackDown’s go-home show for Extreme Rules.

Bray Wyatt will host a Firefly Fun House segment on SmackDown this Friday night. It comes in advance of Wyatt and Universal Champion Braun Strowman facing off in a non-title Wyatt Swamp Fight at Extreme Rules on Sunday.

There will also be a new edition of A Moment of Bliss on this week’s SmackDown. WWE hyped that Alexa Bliss will be joined by a “mystery guest” for the segment:

Alexa Bliss will roll out the red carpet for a marquee guest on ‘A Moment of Bliss’ this Friday night. The identity of the guest remains a mystery but promises to have the blue brand abuzz.

Who will Bliss reveal as the mystery guest for the much-anticipated episode of ‘A Moment of Bliss?’

Tune in to Friday Night SmackDown on FOX at 8/7 C to find out who will join the always controversial talk show.

Bliss & Nikki Cross lost a non-title match to Women’s Tag Team Champions Bayley & Sasha Banks on SmackDown last week. Cross is challenging for Bayley’s SmackDown Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules.

This week’s SmackDown will also feature AJ Styles defending his Intercontinental Championship against Matt Riddle.

Moment of Bliss segment, Deville vs. Evans set for WWE SmackDown

Two sets of tag team champions are set to take part in a segment together on tonight’s SmackDown.

In an email promoting the show, WWE announced that a “Tag Team Champion Summit” edition of A Moment of Bliss with The New Day as the guests will air on tonight’s SmackDown. The New Day are the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, while Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross hold the Women’s Tag Team titles.

Bliss & Cross are currently feuding with The IIconics. The New Day retained their titles against The Lucha House Party, The Forgotten Sons, and The Miz & John Morrison in a fatal four-way match at Money in the Bank earlier this month.

Sonya Deville vs. Lacey Evans has also been announced for tonight’s SmackDown. The two went back and forth on Twitter earlier this week.

Deville & Dolph Ziggler defeated Mandy Rose & Otis on SmackDown last Friday.

Both semifinal matches in WWE’s Intercontinental title tournament will also air on SmackDown tonight. They are Daniel Bryan vs. Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles vs. Elias.

nWo appearance set for this week’s WWE SmackDown

Three members of the nWo are set to appear on SmackDown tomorrow night.

WWE has announced that Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean “X-Pac” Waltman will be interviewed by Alexa Bliss on A Moment of Bliss on tomorrow’s show. The appearance comes in advance of the group being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next month.

Nash, Hall, Waltman, and Hulk Hogan are the nWo members who are being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Nash, Hall, and Hogan have already been inducted individually, while Waltman went into the Hall of Fame as part of D-Generation X last year.

The nWo, Batista, Nikki & Brie Bella, and JBL have been confirmed for this year’s Hall of Fame class. The announcement of the Bellas going into the Hall of Fame was made when they appeared on A Moment of Bliss two weeks ago.

This year’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony is taking place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida on Thursday, April 2.

Tomorrow’s SmackDown is the go-home show for Elimination Chamber. Here’s what’s been announced for the episode:

  • Gauntlet match to decide which team enters Sunday’s SmackDown Tag Team title Elimination Chamber match last (The Miz & John Morrison vs. The New Day vs. The Usos vs. Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode vs. The Lucha House Party vs. Heavy Machinery)
  • SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley & Sasha Banks vs. Naomi & Lacey Evans
  • The nWo appears on A Moment of Bliss
  • Bray Wyatt hosts a Firefly Fun House segment

Moment of Bliss segment announced for WWE SmackDown

Lacey Evans’ feud with Bayley and Sasha Banks will continue on tonight’s episode of SmackDown.

WWE has announced that Evans will be Alexa Bliss’ guest on A Moment of Bliss on tonight’s show. Evans will “address her recent hostilities with Sasha Banks and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley” on the talk show segment.

Evans vs. Banks took place on SmackDown last week, but the match ended in a double countout after Banks taunted Evans in front of her daughter and husband as they were sitting in the front row.

Bayley had defeated Dana Brooke in a non-title match before Evans faced Banks last week.

The Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan is hosting tonight’s SmackDown. The show is airing live and will feature a triple threat number one contender’s match between Daniel Bryan, The Miz, and Baron Corbin. The winner of Bryan vs. Miz vs. Corbin will challenge for “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt’s Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble.

Moment of Bliss with Becky Lynch announced for WWE Raw Reunion

A Moment of Bliss segment is set for tonight’s Raw Reunion episode.

Sports Illustrated announced this morning that Becky Lynch will be Alexa Bliss’ guest on A Moment of Bliss tonight. The show is taking place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.

Bliss did an in-character interview with Sports Illustrated to hype the segment, claiming that she’s going to “expose” Lynch’s past.

“I have a plan for tonight’s A Moment of Bliss, and that plan is to expose Becky Lynch’s past,” Bliss said. “Tonight is the Raw Reunion, and that is all about the moments that have helped make WWE. It’s great to have all the legends coming back to Raw, but it’s also the perfect time to create this moment with Becky.”

“I’ve known Becky for a very long time, and I remember her first day in NXT,” Bliss said. “One of my first rivalries in WWE after I debuted on SmackDown was against Becky. She is the perfect person to interview, and expose, on A Moment of Bliss.”

Lynch will defend her Raw Women’s Championship against Natalya at SummerSlam in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on August 11. Natalya defeated Bliss, Naomi, and Carmella in a fatal four-way number one contender’s elimination match on Raw last week.

Moment of Bliss segment with Nikki Cross set for WWE Raw

A Moment of Bliss segment is set for tonight’s episode of Raw.

Ahead of tonight’s show, WWE announced that Nikki Cross will be Alexa Bliss’ guest on A Moment of Bliss. The segment will be part of the build to Bliss challenging for Bayley’s SmackDown Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules on July 14.

Bliss getting the title shot at Extreme Rules was set up when Cross defeated Bayley in a non-title match on SmackDown last Tuesday.

Bayley retained against Bliss at Stomping Grounds last month. Cross was in Bliss’ corner, and Bliss blamed Cross for her loss. Bayley hit Cross on a dive when Bliss pushed Cross in her way. Cross tried to go after Bayley, then Bayley got her knees up on a Twisted Bliss attempt and pinned Bliss after hitting the Bayley-to-Belly.

Tonight’s Raw is taking place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Lashley in a falls count anywhere match is set for the episode, and two members of The New Day will take on The Viking Raiders.

Moment of Bliss segment, Sullivan interview set for WWE SmackDown

Two segments have been added to the lineup for Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown.

WWE has announced that there will be a Moment of Bliss talk show segment on the episode. SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley will be Alexa Bliss’ guest.

Bayley defeated Lacey Evans in a non-title match on SmackDown last week. Charlotte Flair tried to get involved after being struck by Bayley on the outside. That distracted the referee, and Bayley then defeated Evans by countering a pin. Evans attacked Charlotte in a post-match angle, but Charlotte dropped her with a big boot.

An “exclusive interview” with Lars Sullivan has also been made official for Tuesday’s SmackDown. It’s the go-home show for Super ShowDown, with Sullivan set to face The Lucha House Party (Kalisto, Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado) in a three-on-one handicap match in Saudi Arabia.

As was previously announced, Goldberg will appear on Tuesday’s SmackDown ahead of his match against The Undertaker at Super ShowDown.

Super ShowDown is taking place at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah this coming Friday (June 7) and will air live on the WWE Network starting at 2 p.m. Eastern time.
