MLW TV taping spoilers: War Chamber match

MLW was at the NYTEX Sports Centre in North Richland Hills, Texas on Saturday night for their War Chamber set of television tapings.

– The Spirit Squad (Kenn Doane & Mike Mondo) won a tag match

– Dominic Garrini defeated Ariel Dominguez

– It was announced that LA Park is cashing in his golden ticket to challenge for Jacob Fatu’s World Heavyweight Championship at MLW’s Saturday Night SuperFight pay-per-view on November 2. LA Park got the golden ticket by winning this year’s Battle Riot match.

– Leo Brien won a squash match

Brien is one half of The Dirty Blondes.

– Gringo Loco & Air Wolf defeated Injustice (Myron Reed & Kotto Brazil w/ Jordan Oliver)

Injustice attacked referees after the match.

– Austin Aries defeated Brian Pillman Jr.

MLW is building to Aries challenging for Teddy Hart’s Middleweight title.

– Mance Warner defeated Jimmy Havoc in a Bunkhouse match

– There was a ceremony where the late Gary Hart was celebrated with a lifetime achievement award.

– Timothy Thatcher defeated Douglas James

– Mega Danger defeated Ace Austin

– Los Parks (LA Park & El Hijo de LA Park) defeated Septimo Dragon & Magnus

– Jordan Oliver defeated Zenshi

Injustice continued to attack referees after, with Gringo Loco then making the save.

– MLW Tag Team Champions The Dynasty (MJF & Richard Holliday) defeated The Hart Foundation (Teddy Hart & Davey Boy Smith Jr.) in a two-out-of-three falls match

The Hart Foundation lost after Aries got involved, furthering the build to him getting a Middleweight title match.

– Tom Lawlor, Ross Von Erich, Marshall Von Erich & Low Ki (w/ Kevin Von Erich) defeated Contra Unit (Jacob Fatu, Josef Samael, Simon Gotch & Ikuro Kwon) in a War Chamber match

MLW TV taping spoilers: Intimidation Games

In addition to last night’s Intimidation Games live special, MLW held a set of television tapings at Cicero Stadium in Cicero, Illinois.

– Jim Cornette was introduced as the newest member of the MLW broadcast team. He called the show with Rich Bocchini.

– Alexander Hammerstone defeated Isaias Velazquez

– MLW Middleweight Champion Teddy Hart defeated Myron Reed to retain his title

Hart was selling his ribs throughout the match as part of an angle where he was attacked by MJF and Richard Holliday on a previous MLW Fusion episode.

– The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr. & Fenix) defeated Taurus & Laredo Kid for last night’s special. MLW then set up the steel cage for Tom Lawlor vs. Low Ki, where Lawlor defeated Low Ki on the special to retain the MLW World Heavyweight Championship.

– Ace Romero defeated Simon Gotch by DQ

Jacob Fatu and Josef Samael attacked Romero for the disqualification. Samael bloodied Romero’s head with a spike.

Gotch, Fatu, and Samael’s group is called Contra, and they also attacked Lawlor on the special.

– Ricky Martinez defeated Air Wolf

– Ace Austin defeated DJZ in a Battle Riot qualifying match

– An enhancement team defeated Jacob Fatu & Josef Samael by DQ

Samael again used his spike, and their attack on the enhancement team included fire being thrown. The fans threw trash at Fatu and Samael.

– Daga defeated Ariel Dominguez

Low Ki came out after the match, with referees having to separate him and Daga.

– Puma King defeated El Hijo de LA Park

Mance Warner distracted Hijo de LA Park and hit him with a chair before the finish.

– MLW Tag Team Champions The Hart Foundation (Teddy Hart & Davey Boy Smith Jr.) defeated The Dynasty (MJF & Richard Holliday) by DQ

Alexander Hammerstone came out with a chair and attacked Smith for the DQ. MJF, Holliday, and Hammerstone then beat down The Hart Foundation.

– El Gringo Loco defeated Myron Reed

– Alexander Hammerstone defeated Brian Pillman Jr.

After the match, MJF, Holliday, and Hammerstone ripped Pillman’s necklaces.

– LA Park defeated Mance Warner in a death match

MLW TV taping spoilers: Low Ki vs. Konnan

In addition to presenting their first live special on beIN Sports, MLW held a set of television tapings called “Zero Hour” in Miami, Florida last night.

– Ricky Martinez defeated Fred Yehi

– Ace Romero defeated Simon Gotch in a Simon Gotch $20,000 Prize Fight Challenge

Romero threw money into the crowd after the match.

– Ariel Dominguez defeated Andrew Everett

– Davey Boy Smith Jr. & Brian Pillman Jr. defeated The Dirty Blondes

– LA Park defeated Gringo Loco

This was the first match to be taped after the live special. The previous matches were taped before it.

– Ace Romero & Barrington Hughes defeated The Dirty Blondes

This was supposed to be Romero vs. Hughes, but Colonel Robert Parker came out and made fun of Romero and Hughes’ weight. The Dirty Blondes ran in, leading to the tag match.

– Brian Pillman Jr. defeated Tommy Dreamer in a Singapore cane match

– MLW World Heavyweight Champion Low Ki defeated Konnan by referee stoppage in a no DQ match to retain his title

The referee stopped the match when Low Ki, Ricky Martinez, and Hijo de LA Park wouldn’t stop attacking Konnan.

Low Ki “shanked” Konnan after, but Tom Lawlor ran out to make the save. That furthers the build to Lawlor challenging for Low Ki’s title at MLW Superfight in Philadelphia on February 2.

MLW TV taping spoilers: Pentagon Jr. vs. Teddy Hart

Kicking off two straight nights at the venue, MLW was at the Scottish Rite Temple in Miami, Florida on Thursday for a set of television tapings called “Never Say Never.” MLW will hold a live special on beIN Sports and tapings tonight.

– Tom Lawlor defeated Simon Gotch in a “no holds barred fight”

There were no ropes for this match and you could only win by knockout or submission. After the match, Lawlor cut a promo about challenging Low Ki for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship at MLW Superfight on February 2.

– Salina de la Renta and Ricky Martinez came out. De la Renta cut an anti-Miami promo, mentioning that it’s Konnan’s city. Konnan interrupted her and said he will become MLW World Heavyweight Champion by defeating Low Ki at Friday’s tapings.

– Brian Pillman Jr. & Davey Boy Smith Jr. defeated Tommy Dreamer & Barrington Hughes

Pillman pinned Dreamer after giving him a low blow with a cane. PIllman and Dreamer will face each other in a Singapore cane match at tonight’s tapings.

– Kotto Brazil defeated Vandal Ortagun

Ricky Martinez laid out Brazil after the match.

– Hijo de LA Park defeated DJZ

DJZ was making his MLW debut here.

– Dezmond Xavier defeated Andrew Everett

Xavier and Everett were both making their MLW debuts.

– Ricky Martinez defeated Gringo Loco

– Dragon Lee defeated Rich Swann

This was also Lee’s MLW debut.

– Ace Romero defeated Ariel Dominguez

Barrington Hughes came out after to have a staredown with Romero.

– Rush defeated Shane Strickland

Rush said he wants to face LA Park and is bringing Los Ingobernables to the United States.

– LA Park defeated Sami Callihan in a “falls count anywhere in Miami” match

– MLW World Heavyweight Champion Low Ki defeated Fred Yehi to retain his title

– Teddy Hart defeated Pentagon Jr.

Pentagon & Fenix were originally scheduled to defend their MLW Tag Team titles against the Hart Foundation on this show before Fenix suffered a groin injury last month.

MLW TV taping results: Lucha Bros vs. LA Park & Hijo de LA Park

MLW debuted in the Chicago area on Thursday night with a set of television tapings called “Fightland” at Cicero Stadium.

MLW’s Court Bauer tweeted that MLW broke its attendance record for the tapings: “Tonight @MLW will shatter its all time attendance record that dates back to June 20, 2003. Thank you all — fans, wrestlers, crew, staff, broadcast team, @beINSPORTSUSA and the media for making tonight historic. See you at Cicero Stadium tonight. #mlwchicago”

– Ricky Martinez defeated Dr. Rex Bacchus

– Puma King defeated MJF in a flag match

– Marko Stunt defeated El Gringo Loco

– Simon Gotch defeated Ariel Dominguez in a $10,000 Prize Fight Challenge

– Myron Reed defeated Ace Austin

– Joey Ryan & Swoggle defeated The Dirty Blondes

Ryan worked the match despite likely needing surgery for a torn pectoral muscle. Ryan spoke about the injury before the match and had his arm in a sling.

– Kotto Brazil defeated Trey Miguel

– Tommy Dreamer defeated Brian Pillman Jr.

Pillman turned against Dreamer after the match and beat him down. Teddy Hart, one of Pillman’s fellow Hart Foundation members, raised Pillman’s hand.

– Ace Romero defeated Marko Stunt

This was a matchup of the gigantic Romero and “Mr. Fun Size.”

– “Filthy” Tom Lawlor defeated Sami Callihan in a Chicago Street Fight

– Teddy Hart defeated Jason Cade

– Rush defeated Sammy Guevara

Rush was making his MLW debut here.

– PCO defeated Brody King in a no DQ match

At one point, PCO did a dive off a balcony and went through a table as King moved.

– MLW World Heavyweight Champion Low Ki defeated Shane Strickland to retain his title

– MLW Tag Team Champions The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr. & Fenix) defeated LA Park & El Hijo de LA Park to retain their titles
