MLW Fightland spoilers: Title change, Jacob Fatu vs. Lio Rush

The following are spoilers for future episodes of MLW Fusion.

MLW held their Fightland 2022 TV taping on Sunday night at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. The event included one title change, plus a Jacob Fatu vs. Lio Rush main event.

      • Fatu challenged Hammerstone to a match at Superfight, and Hammerstone entered for a physical angle with Fatu.
      • Alec Price defeated TJ Crawford
      • Trish Adora defeated Gia Scott
      • Micro Man & Lince Dorado defeated Delirious and Mini Abismo Negro
      • Street Fight: NZO defeated Mance Warner
      • Davey Boy Smith Jr. & The Billington Bulldogs defeated Bomaye Fight Club
      • Sam Adonis defeated “Johnny Trash”
      • Last Man Standing match: Alexander Hammerstone defeated EJ Nduka
      • Calvin Tankman defeated Willie Mack
      • MLW Featherweight Championship: Taya Valkyrie defeated Trish Adora to retain the title
      • Lance Anoai & Juicy Finau defeated Little Guido & Raz Jaz
      • MLW Middleweight Championship: Lince Dorado defeated Shun Skywalker to win the title

MLW Fightland/TV taping spoilers: Fatu vs. Hammerstone title vs. title

The following are spoilers from the MLW Fightland/Fusion: Alpha TV taping Saturday at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA.

The two title matches will air on the Fightland special this Thursday on Vice TV while the rest will air on future editions of Fusion: Alpha.

  • Mads Krugger defeated Dr. Dax and then Budd Heavy afterward
  • Alex Kane (w/ King Mo) defeated Warhorse in a prize fight challenge
  • Opera Cup quarterfinal: Calvin Tankman defeated Matt Cross
  • Opera Cup quarterfinal: Bobby Fish defeated Lee Moriarty
  • Opera Cup quarterfinal: Davey Richards defeated Tom Lawlor
  • Opera Cup quarterfinal: TJP defeated Alex Shelley
  • Nicole Savoy defeated Holidead. Savoy was shoot injured in the match following a kick to her chest, was stretchered to the back and taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
  • Tajiri won the Middleweight title in a four-way over Myron Reed (champion), Arez and Aramis
  • 5150 and Los Parks went to a no-contest in a trios match. Homicide made his return to the promotion, joining 5150 (Rivera, Slice Boogie, Julius Smokes, Konnan) and had a brawl with Los Parks that erupted during several portions of the night.
  • Caribbean Champion King Muertes (w/ the debuting Catrina from Lucha Underground) defeated Tom Lawlor in a casket match
  • In a Survival Tag Team match, EJ Nduka, Savio Vega, Richard Holliday, Warhorse, Blue Meanie and Zenshi defeated Ikuro Kwon, King Mo, Gino Medina, Kevin Ku, KC Navarro and Beastman when Nduka defeated Kwon to become the sole survivor.
  • Opera Cup semifinal: Calvin Tankman defeated Alex Kane. Kane was the alternate for the tournament but no reason was given as to why TJP was out.
  • Opera Cup semifinal: Davey Richards defeated Bobby Fish
  • The Sea Stars defeated Willow Nightingale & Zoey Skye
  • National Openweight Champion Alexander Hammerstone defeated World Champion Jacob Fatu in a title vs. title match to win the World title.

Next month’s Intimidation Games in Philadelphia will see the Opera Cup finals with Richards vs. Tankman.
