Cody Rhodes would like to see Bad Bunny vs. Logan Paul WWE WrestleMania match

Cody Rhodes was a big fan of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show — and he’s hoping that the music superstar will step back into a WWE ring again when his schedule allows.

TMZ Sports caught up with Rhodes this week during a media tour in New York City. During the brief conversation, Rhodes was asked to give his thoughts on Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance.

“Oh, he killed it. So good,” Rhodes said. “I hope we get him back. He did a wonderful job. But he’s on top of the world right now. That show is an all-timer. Prince might still be my favorite [halftime show], but that’s an all-timer.”

TMZ then asked Rhodes who he would like to see Bad Bunny face in a potential WrestleMania match.

“Good one,” Rhodes responded. “Maybe Logan [Paul]?”

Bad Bunny and Logan Paul are two of the most successful celebrity crossovers in recent WWE history, with Paul even now considering himself a full-time wrestler. Paul, who has stated his desire to face Bad Bunny in WWE, defended Bad Bunny over the weekend when his own brother Jake called the Puerto Rican musician a “fake American.”

Bad Bunny wrestled for WWE three times from 2021-2023. Despite his busy schedule, there are rumors he could appear for the company again soon.

Brie Bella thinks ‘kayfabe is dead,’ cites WWE: Unreal as an example

In a recent conversation with Logan Paul, WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella opened up on her beliefs about kayfabe being dead.

Recently appearing with her twin sister Nikki Bella on the ImPaulsive podcast, the sisters were asked their opinion about kayfabe being dead in wrestling to which Brie cited WWE: Unreal on Netflix as an example.

“I do (think kayfabe is dead). You watch Unreal. We see how like matches are getting put together, and you see, like, all the way into the business,” Bella said.

“You are not a fan of that?” Paul questioned back, to which the mother of two replied, “No. I mean, I don’t care.”

She went on to talk further about Unreal.

“There’s an audience who loves it, and then there’s an audience who hates it. I mean, at the end of the day, we’re never going to please everyone, right? There’s always going to be haters and people talking s**t,” she said, going on to say she thinks she likes the show.

“I get interested to see like what’s said in those rooms and how it goes down, but…I feel like that means kayfabe’s dead,” Brie concluded.

Nikki Bella said, “…For me, it’s cool to see how it all works. Yeah, we have to evolutionize.”

WWE: Unreal’s second season was released in January and while veterans like Seth Rollins explained their “difficult relationship” with the show, stars like Chelsea Green also defended the show. Both were featured during the second season.

Logan Paul: ‘I’m a legitimate professional athlete now’

Nearly four years into his WWE career, Logan Paul views himself as a “legitimate professional athlete.”

Paul announced this month that he’s signed a new WWE contract that officially makes him a full-timer in pro wrestling. He’s set to compete in the men’s Royal Rumble match in Saudi Arabia this weekend, and Paul made an appearance on Thursday’s edition of The Pat McAfee Show to promote the event. Paul hyped that he’s “so locked in” at this point in his life now that he’s married, has a daughter, and is sober.

McAfee asked Paul if, back when he was just making content on YouTube, he ever envisioned himself becoming a full-time wrestler.

“Hell no, hell no. This is crazy. I’m a legitimate professional athlete now, which is just insane to say,” Paul responded. “But life is about the art of the pivot, you know? Doing what you’re good at, doing what you love, and finding that pocket and then just running it.”

While wrestling is his main focus at the moment, Paul said his WWE career has also opened up opportunities for him outside of the company.

“I’m training every day. I’m going back to back to back on meetings. I’m absolutely optimizing and maximizing my life,” Paul said. “Everywhere we go, I’m stacking in the opportunities. Because, look, being a WWE Superstar gives you the opportunity to amplify what you want to build — both inside and outside of the WWE. So when we go somewhere, when we travel, man, I’m doing business meetings. I’m training. I’m bonding with The Vision and Paul Heyman. I’m learning.”

All four members of The Vision (Paul, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Austin Theory) have been confirmed as entrants for Saturday’s Rumble match. The PLE airs live on the ESPN app in the United States and Netflix everywhere else starting at 2 p.m. Eastern time.

Logan Paul responds to ‘banned from Japan’ WWE Raw chants

On a new episode of his vlog, Logan Paul responded to the chants he received on WWE Raw in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The Belfast crowd taunted Paul on Monday by chanting that he was “banned from Japan,” a reference to the 2017-2018 controversy where Paul received massive criticism for uploading a YouTube video containing footage of a suicide victim at Japan’s Aokigahara forest. Paul took down that video after receiving backlash and posted a new video in January 2018 apologizing for what he had done.

“Bro, I’m not even banned from Japan, like officially,” Paul said on his vlog. “Like, in an official way. How did a room full of absolute morons concoct such a brilliant chant? I’m not banned from Japan. What the f***, bro? I’m actually not.”

Paul has yet to appear at any WWE events in Japan since joining the company, though he’s expressed that he would like to do so. So far, WWE has only held house shows in Japan during Paul’s tenure. There have not been any TV shows or PLEs.

Monday’s Raw in Belfast included a six-man tag match where Paul, Bronson Reed & Austin Theory lost to Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee & Penta. Paul, Reed, and Theory are members of The Vision in WWE along with Bron Breakker and their manager Paul Heyman.

Logan Paul has ‘a weird feeling’ Vince McMahon will return to WWE

Logan Paul says he has “a weird feeling” that Vince McMahon will be back in WWE.

On the latest episode of his Impaulsive podcast, Paul was asked by rapper Lil Yachty if he feels McMahon will get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame one day.

Paul responded:

“Yeah he’ll definitely get inducted. I also have a weird feeling he’ll come back.”

“I hope so, I really hope he does,” said Lil Yachty.

“I think he’d get an insane pop,” Paul added.

Paul also addressed his feelings on fans criticizing Triple H’s booking online, saying he believes WWE’s Chief Content Officer deserves “zero percent” of the blame.

Lil Yachty said of fans blaming Triple H, “I don’t think that’s fair.”

“It’s also not his fault,” Paul said. “I’m telling you as an insider, it’s not his fault. Like zero percent.”

Yachty added, “It’s a company. No one huge Fortune 500 company have all decisions leaning on one person, that’s just not how companies go.”

Paul continued, “It’s human nature, unfortunately. How easy is it to just assign blame. It’s your fault, we hate you. When in reality, most situations have a lot of nuance.”

Paul revealed on his podcast last week that he’s signed a new long-term contract with WWE that officially makes him a full-timer now. He wrestled his first match of the year on Raw on Monday, teaming with The Vision’s Bronson Reed and Austin Theory in a loss to Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and Penta.

Logan Paul currently owns the world’s most expensive Pokémon card, priced at a humongous amount of $5.3 million. Paul bought the Pikachu Illustrator ahead of his WWE WrestleMania 38 tag-team match against Rey and Dominik Mysterio. Now, almost four years later, Paul has put up for auction his mint condition, PSA 10-rated Pikachu illustrator card.

Paul, a full-time WWE Superstar now, following his new contract signing, announced the news of auctioning his card in the same YouTube video. Paul put the card for auction on Pokémon’s 30th anniversary and will run bids till February 15th, 2025. The auction already has 27 bids, with the current highest running at $2.3 million. The Pikachu card will also come with the Pokémon card holder and Cuban chain, priced at a value of $75,000.

The Pikachu Illustrator card was produced in a limited quantity of 40 copies and distributed to the winners of a Japanese fan competition in 1998. Among these, only one has received the unparalleled PSA 10 quality rating; this card was acquired by Paul in 2021 in exchange for a lower-grade Pikachu Illustrator (valued at $1.275 million) and an additional $4 million in cash.

Paul wore the card while entering with The Miz in AT&T Stadium at WrestleMania 38, and has now claimed to hand-deliver the Pikachu card to the buyer.

Logan Paul announces new WWE contract: ‘I’m officially a full-timer now’

Logan Paul claims that he’s officially a full-time wrestler now after signing a new contract with WWE.

On a new episode of his YouTube vlog that premiered this week, Paul stated that he has signed a long-term WWE contract. He did not announce the length of the deal or say what his schedule will be, but Paul called himself a full-timer.

“I actually just signed my official long-term contract with the WWE seconds ago. So, I’m officially a full-timer now. All you people saying I’m a part-timer can shut your mouths,” he said.

“Your boy’s going to be working. I’m excited to get the year started. 2026, man — I want to hit it hard. I want to become the best wrestler I can be. Become the best husband, father, and business partner I can be. Let’s go, baby. I’m excited.”

This April will mark the four-year anniversary of Paul’s WWE debut. The social media influencer is now a member of The Vision, a faction that is managed by Paul Heyman and also features Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

“I’m excited to absolutely take over the WWE alongside The Vision and Paul Heyman,” Paul said in his vlog. “The future is looking bright, and I could not be more pumped to be me.”

Paul’s relationship with WWE includes his Impaulsive podcast being part of the WWE & Fanatics podcast network.

Logan Paul admits brother Jake’s boxing loss was the ‘logical’ outcome

Logan Paul has a lot of belief in his brother, but he wasn’t shocked by the ending of last Friday’s boxing match.

The December 19 Netflix boxing spectacle saw Jake Paul get knocked out by Anthony Joshua in the sixth round of their fight. Appearing on ESPN’s First Take, Logan reacted to the result and admitted that it was the logical conclusion, though Jake’s self-belief did make Logan feel he could upset the former heavyweight champion.

“From strictly a logical point of view, I actually think it went down exactly as it was supposed to. I’m not sure anyone really thought that Jake was going to beat Anthony Joshua,” Logan said. “But you have to understand, being his brother and in his close circle, he has this conviction that makes you believe. And he has this ability to defy reality and morph it into his vision of how it will transpire that makes you think he’ll win.

“But this [is] my opinion — this was a logical conclusion to the fight. The two-time Olympian broke the influencer boxer’s jaw. Like, okay, you know, we could have wrote it in a story and it would have made sense. That said, I think he did amazing. I’m incredibly proud of him. I think it was a net positive. I think the world can see now how tough Jake Paul is and how fearless he is. And that is why he’s in the position he is, because he has this delusional confidence that leads him to success and he doesn’t care what people think.”

Jake suffered a broken jaw in the fight, but Logan said he was in good spirits after and making TikTok videos.

“The guy loves his job and he loves life and he loves putting himself in situations where people don’t think he’s going to do the impossible. And time and time again, he does,” Logan said. “I’m proud of him and I love him very much.”

The Paul vs. Joshua fight is said to have done 33 million viewers on Netflix globally. Logan told First Take that he’s sure Jake will be back in the boxing ring but he does not know exactly when that will be.

While doing press to promote the boxing match, Jake Paul said he’d be interested in managing his brother in WWE and potentially working some matches one day.

Logan Paul reacts to brother Jake Paul’s fight vs. Anthony Joshua

Logan Paul has issued a statement following his brother Jake Paul’s fight on Friday night.

Jake Paul was knocked out by two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in the sixth round of a bout Joshua ultimately dominated. Jake suffered a broken jaw in two places.

Logan Paul took to Instagram on Saturday to comment on his brother’s performance, writing:

“Proud brother of an absolute warrior, broke his jaw but can’t break his spirit @jakepaul”

The loss was just the second of Jake Paul’s boxing career and the first time he has been finished. His only prior loss came against Tommy Fury in February 2023 via split decision.

Jake Paul teased a possible move to WWE during an interview with Bleacher Report while promoting his fight with Joshua. The 28-year-old said he would be “down” to join his brother in the wrestling ring.

“I would be down,” Jake Paul said. “I think he’s incredible. I would love to be his Paul Heyman, his manager of some sort, and maybe we can run some matches, for sure. I think it’s absolutely insane what he’s doing, and I would love to help him.”

Logan Paul’s Instagram post is below.

Logan Paul believes John Cena’s retirement is ‘good news’

Logan Paul claimed that John Cena’s retirement represents “good news” for WWE’s future.

Following John Cena’s submission defeat to Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Paul opened up about it on his latest vlog on YouTube. Addressing the disheartening loss, Paul claimed,

“I watched John Cena’s last match last night. He was wrestling Gunther, and he tapped out with a sleeper hold. John Cena’s whole thing is never give up, and he gave up.”

Paul argued that his departure created space for new stars and leadership.

“The good news is, with a guy like John gone, this company can really thrive with me in charge and the Vision leading the way,” Paul added. “All of yesterday’s match was a microcosm of what the future of WWE could look like. The talent from NXT, the Oba Femis, the Sol Rucas, Je’von Evans, me, now it’s gonna get exciting.”

Paul is currently in an alliance with Paul Heyman’s Vision and was recently involved in a feud against CM Punk and LA Knight.

Logan Paul slams wrestling fans for calling him a part-timer

In the same vlog, Logan Paul also addressed the part-timer allegations against him and slammed them with facts.

“They’re telling me I’m a part-timer, an outsider, like I’m not working my a** off. Hey, news flash, IWC, get out your calendars! No, f**k that, I’ll do it for you!”

““I have wrestled on November 24th, November 29th, December 8th, and December 15th. That’s today. Four out of the five weeks, I’m in a match. I’m wrestling. I’m working my a** off,” Paul added. “People saying like, ‘Oh, he takes weeks. He takes months to learn the match, that’s why his matches are so good.’ F**k you! My matches are good because I’m f**king good.”

Logan Paul slams IWC for part-timer allegations: ‘I’m working my a** off’

Logan Paul pushed back against claims that he is a WWE part-timer, citing four televised matches in a five-week span while addressing criticism from the internet wrestling community in his vlog on YouTube.

Paul made his WWE debut at WrestleMania 38 before signing a contract with the promotion. Arguably one of the most talented names on the roster, Paul often finds himself working very limited dates throughout the year. Recently, speaking on the latest edition of his vlog, Paul addressed these claims and slammed the internet wrestling community (IWC) for the part-timer allegations.

Referring to his recent tight schedule, Paul claimed, “They’re telling me I’m a part-timer, an outsider, like I’m not working my a** off. Hey, news flash, IWC, get out your calendars! No, f**k that, I’ll do it for you!”

“I have wrestled on November 24th, November 29th, December 8th, and December 15th.

He further said, “Mind you, may I add, I won all of those matches! Me! Me! Not only am I working, I’m winning! And I can’t stop winning!”

Paul, currently aligned with The Vision, wrestled on the November 24th edition of Raw, Survivor Series WarGames, and the December 8th and 15th editions of Raw, with him being on the winning side on all of them.

Jake Paul teases possible WWE run: ‘Something big’s coming’

Jake Paul says he would “be down” for a WWE run.

Paul is set to face two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in a boxing match on December 19, airing on Netflix. While promoting the fight in an interview with Bleacher Report, Paul was asked about the possibility of joining his brother Logan Paul in the world of wrestling.

“I would be down,” Paul responded. “I think he’s incredible. I would love to be his Paul Heyman, his manager of some sort, and maybe we can run some matches, for sure. I think it’s absolutely insane what he’s doing, and I would love to help him.”

During the interview, it was noted that a masked man attacked Rey Mysterio on Raw last week, allowing Logan Paul to continue the attack on Mysterio with a pair of brass knuckles. When asked if he was the masked man on the show, Jake Paul responded, “I can’t say too much, but, just know, something big’s coming.”

Jake Paul enters his fight on Friday against Joshua on a six-fight winning streak, including his win over Mike Tyson in November 2024. His full interview with Bleacher Report is available here.

Logan Paul reveals details on scrapped Travis Scott WWE match: ‘He didn’t show up’

Months after Travis Scott’s disappearance from WWE, Logan Paul has opened up what the plans for Scott where and why they didn’t happen.

Earlier this year at Elimination Chamber, Scott appeared alongside The Rock and helped John Cena turn heel on Cody Rhodes. He later appeared at WrestleMania 41 as well but things soon fell apart between Scott and WWE.

During an appearance on Chris Van Vliet’s Insight, Cena declined to go into detail about the situation but on his ImPaulsive podcast, Paul shared additional details.

“I was very excited, obviously, for him to enter the WWE, and we were supposed to team up with one other person,” Paul added. “It was supposed to be three-on-three, and the day that it was supposed to be announced, he didn’t show up.”

Paul continued, “I think what happened is, my guess, he probably realized at some point that it’s really physically demanding, really hard and a lot of work. It’s probably too much commitment for someone who is a rock star of his caliber. Like, Bad Bunny loves it and put in the time and became a good wrestler.”

“Wrestling is a lot about navigating pain. It hurts, and I think at some point, Travis probably realized it’s pretty hard. I would like to see him make a real run at it, but yeah, I think that’s what happened,” he said.

Nick Khan says if celebrities want to come to WWE just to chase clout, ‘we don’t want ’em’

WWE president Nick Khan explained how Logan Paul got his break in WWE as part of a detailed conversation on the ImPaulsive podcast and revealed their stance on other celebrities wanting to compete in the ring.

“When the executive who first brought Paul up to me, Triple H and the founder of the company said ‘hey we should give him a shot, he wants to wrestle’, the first thing we always look for, and it applies to Logan who is now full-time with us performing at an extremely high level, it applies to Bad Bunny, it applies to people who have come in, Tyson Fury.”

“First of all they have to be a fan,” Khan added. “If they’re just doing it because, as younger folks would say, they’re chasing clout, we don’t want ’em. If you love it, we’re open to the conversation.”

Further speaking to Paul himself on the podcast, Khan heaped praise on the former United States Champion and openly called out his star power.

“And once you sit with Logan, you know he has star power, you saw everything he had done. The advantage from this point of view, and the disadvantage from you or someone like you’s point of view, is you got to grow up on camera.”

“I like the way you responded to any perceived mistakes you made in life, that’s what people are supposed to do when they’re young, they’re not supposed to have all the answers to this stuff,” Khan continued. “So from our point of view this was a mature young man, certainly athletic, if he comes to down the Performance Center and does what we think he can do, there’s all the upside in the world. So far everyone has been right.”

Paul is now involved in a feud against CM Punk while also enjoying his alliance with Paul Heyman and The Vision.

Logan Paul ‘thinks’ he is a full-time member of The Vision

Following his Survivor Series victory with The Vision, Paul was openly asked about his status with The Vision on his ImPaulsive podcast, when he responded,

“I think so. I think so. I understand that this is a business where, in a heartbeat, there can be betrayal and backstabs. Look, this industry is cutthroat, and I know people probably expected me to do some scummy shit with my current team, and I always got my eyes peeled, but I like the group of guys I’m currently aligned with in the Vision. We get along really well, not wrestling related, just behind the scenes.”
