Killer Kross to make MLW debut against Tom Lawlor at Fightland

Killer Kross has an opponent for his MLW debut.

MLW announced today that Kross will make his debut for the promotion against Tom Lawlor at their Fightland set of television tapings. The show is taking place at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday, February 1.

Kross was announced for Fightland on December 19, which was the day after it was revealed that he was granted his release from Impact Wrestling. Kross is currently a free agent.

After turning heel against the Von Erichs, Lawlor faced Ross Von Erich at MLW’s Zero Hour tapings this past weekend.

MLW’s Court Bauer hyped up Kross vs. Lawlor: “Fightland wouldn’t be Fightland without a dream match like Lawlor-Kross. The 2300 Arena has seen some scraps but given the rep of these two, this one is going to be on a different level.”

MLW World Heavyweight Champion Jacob Fatu defending his title against CIMA, Davey Boy Smith Jr. vs. Erick Stevens, and Brian Pillman Jr. vs. Jimmy Havoc (w/ Priscilla Kelly) are also set for Fightland.

After getting his release from Impact Wrestling, Killer Kross has a date set for his MLW debut.

Kross will be in action at MLW’s Fightland tapings in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday, February 1. Hungry to represent MLW, several top ranked MLW wrestlers are actively pursuing a match against the dangerous underground combat fighter.”

Kross is a free agent after Impact announced yesterday that — months after Kross had requested his release — he’s officially no longer with the company.

Fightland is being held at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. There will be an MLW World Heavyweight Championship match on the show, with Jacob Fatu defending his title against CIMA.
