John LaRocca and I are both out of town this week so instead of our normal show, I interviewed Grapsody’s Will Washington and rapper R8ed R, who worked on the AEW Music release, Who We Are Vol. 1.

We talk about their contributions to the album, how they first got involved, what they consider to be the best track they didn’t work on and whether there will be a vinyl release.

We also discuss the relationship between hip hop and wrestling, how anyone could screw up Hit Row, the best rapper in wrestling, and which great rapper would have been a great wrestler.

Fight Game: Joe vs. Suzuki, NXT Tag Team title gauntlet match, WWE 2K22 thoughts

John LaRocca and I are back with another Fight Game Podcast.

Before we get started with our normal show, we bring on Figure Four Online editor and contributor Bryan Rose to talk about WWE 2K22. He gives us his thoughts on the new game as well as expectations for AEW’s game that’s coming out in the fall.

John and I then review both AEW Dynamite and NXT. Dynamite was a quality wrestling heavy show, including the sleeper match of the night between Team Taz and Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland, a main event that made the hot crowd happy, and more. NXT’s show was more of a throwaway until we got to the gauntlet match for the Tag Team titles which was very good.
