Fight Game: The 2022 pro wrestling draft

John LaRocca and I will be back with our normal show next week, but this week is…draft week.

Knowing our show would be off its normal cadence because of vacation, we pre-recorded this episode with the idea that we were CEOs of new wrestling companies and could pick from all the existing wrestling talent. In our draft, age mattered as did previous drawing power.

John got the first pick and we were off, choosing 16 singles wrestlers and six male tag teams.

Fight Game: Dave Meltzer Q&A

The following is a free show. Just click below to listen.

John LaRocca and I are off for the next two weeks, but that doesn’t mean this feed is going dark.

While we’re not going to have our normal show of current pro wrestling discussion and a review of AEW Dynamite, we do have something special in its place.

I recorded a Q&A with Dave Meltzer that ran on Fight Game Media Network + earlier this week that also doubles as this week’s episode of The Fight Game Podcast. We took questions from listeners of this show as well as members of the Fight Game Media Network Facebook group.

Dave answers questions about a possible AEW stadium show, his favorite G1 matches, women’s wrestling in Mexico, WWE vs. AEW, and a lot more.
