EC3’s Control Your Narrative announces deal with Pro Wrestling TV

EC3’s Control Your Narrative promotion is partnering with a new streaming network.

It was announced today that Control Your Narrative has reached an “exclusive agreement” to make Pro Wrestling TV its television home. Pro Wrestling TV “will debut in April with a linear channel and on-demand streaming app, provided as a free ad-supported service to viewers worldwide.”

Control Your Narrative’s first live event is taking place in Orlando, Florida this Saturday. The promotion also has a show scheduled for Dallas, Texas on March 31, which is the Thursday of WrestleMania week.

“With PWTV, the way professional wrestling is consumed will change forever,” said EC3. “We are very excited to partner with PWTV to bring the stories, skills, and abilities of a distinct and driven group of talents to the wrestling world.”⁣

Adam Scherr (formerly known as Braun Strowman in WWE) and EC3’s business partner Jedediah Koszewski are also co-founders of Control Your Narrative.

Control Your Narrative will be taking a seasonal television approach to its product on Pro Wrestling TV.

⁣”In addition to continuing to produce full-length cinematic wrestling features, CYN and PWTV will bring a unique perspective of presenting and distributing wrestling to the fans in the form of a seasonal television approach. Each episode will build the stories of the wrestlers, their conflicts, and their journeys culminating each season with a live event special,” the promotion touted.

“While the traditional wrestling format will be represented, CYN’s television will be anything but the norm. In addition to its televised show and specials, CYN is planning a live tour to provide talent an opportunity to perform and fans to see them live.”

“The wrestling will be real. The stories will be real. We want to put the power back in the hands of the wrestlers and create a place they can make a living,” said Scherr.⁣

EC3 was released by WWE in April 2020, while Scherr was released by the company in June of last year.⁣

Prior to the launch of Control Your Narrative, EC3’s Free The Narrative produced two cinematic shows in 2021.

“Control Your Narrative will give professional wrestling fans something never seen before. From the presentation to how its stories are told, we are thrilled to give them a home to bring their brand to a worldwide audience,” said Pro Wrestling TV president Brandon Blackburn.⁣

EC3 & Adam Scherr’s CYN promotion tout ‘imminent’ network TV deal, two March shows

The new Control Your Narrative promotion co-founded by former WWE wrestlers EC3 and Adam Scherr (fka Braun Strowman) tweeted Thursday that a network TV deal is “imminent.”

From the tweet: “The one thing missing for CYN to ‘become who they are supposed to be’ was a proper platform and network distribution. That has been achieved.”

Called CYN: Live, the group announced two shows: Saturday, March 5th at the Tin Roof in Orlando, Florida, and on Thursday, March 31st at Gilley’s in Dallas, Texas, as part of WrestleMania week. The Dallas event will be taped for their new TV show.

Talent for those shows includes NWA World Champion Matt Cardona, Impact World Champion Moose, John Skyler, Matt Sydal, Marina Shafir, Westin Blake, Matt Taven, EC3, and Scherr.

Additionally, Killer Kross will be on the March 31st event that will also include “a panel of nostalgic legends who will be making an announcement that can very well change the course of wrestling consumption forever.⁣” That announcement might be the aforementioned TV deal.

EC3’s ‘Control Your Narrative’ announces first two live events

EC3’s “Control Your Narrative” project has announced its first two live events.

Control Your Narrative: Awakening events will be held in Orlando, Florida and Dallas, Texas this March. The Orlando show will be held at The Tin Roof at Icon Park on Saturday, March 5, while the Dallas show is taking place at the Southside Music Hall at Gilley’s Dallas on Thursday, March 31.

The Dallas show is happening on the Thursday of WrestleMania week. It will include a pre-show that will feature “a panel of nostalgic ‘Legends’ who will be making an announcement that can very well change the course of wrestling consumption forever.”

Tickets for both shows are on sale now.

Control Your Narrative (CYN) has found it’s ‘purpose’ and is proud to announce ‘Awakening: Live’, a series of live events featuring combative PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING action and the real stories of those who choose to fight.

Headlined by ‘The Titan’ Adam Scherr, ec3, the newly recruited Killer Kross, and other top names in the field of ‘sports and entertainment,’ ‘CYN Awakening: Live’ is a live event under the guise of a ‘traditional wrestling show’ that will be everything but ‘traditional.’

Control Your Narrative will soon be announcing more names for the shows.

EC3 launched Free The Narrative following his release from WWE in March 2020. It produced two cinematic shows last year.

Scherr (formerly known as Braun Strowman) was released by WWE in June 2021. Kross (formerly known as Karrion Kross) was released in November 2021 and recently became a free agent.
