Six-man tag match announced for AEW Dynamite

A new six-man tag team match has been added to Wednesday’s Dynamite.

Jon Moxley, Lance Archer, and Rey Fenix will team up to take on Eddie Kingston, The Butcher, and The Blade.

AEW confirmed the match this evening on social media, saying it was at the request of Kingston. Fenix has a history with Butcher, Blade, and Kingston. The trio attacked Pentagon and put him out of action several weeks ago. Archer and Kingston most recently met in a lumberjack match on the Beach Break edition of Dynamite on February 3, with Archer scoring the win.

Moxley and Archer teamed up on this week’s edition of Dynamite, losing to Kenny Omega and KENTA in a falls count anywhere match.

Here is the lineup so far for next Wednesday’s Dynamite:

  • The Young Bucks vs. Santana and Ortiz
  • Riho vs. Serena Deeb in the Women’s title eliminator tournament
  • FTR vs. Matt and Mike Sydal
  • Matt Hardy, Hangman Page, and Private Party vs. Hybrid2 and Chaos Project
  • Sting will call out his AEW Revolution opponents

Cody & Allin vs. Butcher & Blade announced for AEW Dynamite

A tag match has been added for next week’s AEW Dynamite.

Cody & Darby Allin will team up to take on The Butcher & The Blade. This stems from an angle that took place on this week’s show where Darby Allin helped Cody to his feet after he and QT Marshall lost to The Butcher & The Blade. Cody has been feuding with the team for the last few weeks after they appeared under the ring and laid him out in their debut. They are managed by The Bunny, the former Allie.

A number of big matches have been signed for next week’s show, the last show of the year for AEW. Chris Jericho will face Jungle Boy in a non-title match that will have a ten minute time limit.

The AEW Tag Team titles will also be on the line, with SoCal Uncensored taking on The Young Bucks. A number one contender’s match for the AEW Women’s title is also set, with Britt Baker taking on Kris Statlander. Lucha Bros. vs. Kenny Omega & Hangman Page has also been announced.

Dynamite next week will take place at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.
