Unified Trios Champions crowned at AEW Dynasty

Bullet Club Gold are now unified champions of AEW’s six-man division.

Jay White and The Gunns defeated The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn at AEW Dynasty on Sunday, with White scoring the win over Gunn after hitting the bladerunner. With the win, Bullet Club Gold now hold both the AEW Trios titles and the ROH Six-Man titles, which they previously held before Sunday’s unification match.

The rivalry between the two teams date back to earlier this year, when Acclaimed suggested to Bullet Club Gold they team together in order to go after The Undisputed Kingdom, who attacked both teams in the past. BCG eventually agreed to team with The Acclaimed, forming the Bang Bang Scissor Gang. After scoring a few wins as a six-man team, BCG turned on The Acclaimed at Big Business last month, when White laid out Gunn with a steel chair.

Bullet Club Gold have held the ROH Six-Man Tag Team titles since January 17, when they defeated the Mogul Embassay. The Acclaimed had been AEW Trios Champions since August 27 of last year, when they defeated The House of Black at All In.

‘Bang Bang Scissor Gang’ supergroup forms on AEW Collision

A new supergroup between The Acclaimed and Bullet Club Gold was formed on Collision.

After spending the month teasing The Acclaimed (Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, and Billy Gunn) over whether or not they’d join forces, Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Colten & Austin Gunn) agreed to unite. The Acclaimed has named the supergroup the Bang Bang Scissor Gang.

On the January 10 edition of Dynamite, The Acclaimed brought up to Bullet Club Gold the idea of teaming together, pointing out that it was The Undisputed Kingdom who had jumped both of them, and they had a common enemy they could go against. Jay White told The Acclaimed that they would think about it.

Last Wednesday saw White and The Gunns defeat Brian Cage and The Gates of Agony to win the ROH Six-Man Tag Team titles. The Acclaimed will defend their AEW Trios Tag Team titles against Cage & The Gates of Agony on the next AEW Dynamite.

Bullet Club Gold win ROH Six-Man titles on AEW Dynamite

New ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions have been crowned.

Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Austin & Colten Gunn) defeated The Gates of Agony and Brian Cage on AEW Dynamite to win the titles for the first time. The finish had Prince Nana in the ring looking to strike White with one of the belts. Anthony Bowens, however, came to ringside and took the title away, allowing White to pin Kaun with the blade runner.

Prince Nana had issued the challenge to Bullet Club Gold on Saturday’s Collision, pointing out that White couldn’t even beat their leader, Swerve Strickland.

The Gates of Agony and Brian Cage had held the titles for over 77 days. They defeated Hangman Page & The Young Bucks on the November 1 edition of Dynamite to win the titles for a second time.

Recently, The Acclaimed & Daddy Ass have been trying to align themselves with Bullet Club Gold to form a super team, pointing out they were both attacked by a common enemy, The Undisputed Kingdom. Bullet Club Gold told The Acclaimed on last week’s Dynamite that they would think about it.

Report: Juice Robinson injured, will require back surgery

Juice Robinson reportedly needs surgery.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Robinson sustained a back injury recently that will require surgery to fix. No timetable was given for his recovery but the report noted that it is not expected to be an “extremely drawn-out absence.” However, Robinson is expected to be out for at least the rest of the year.

An injury angle took place in the closing moments of Friday’s Rampage broadcast which will likely be used to explain his absence. Robinson was shown bloodied up backstage and it was implied that MJF had hit him with a large TV monitor.

Robinson hasn’t wrestled since the November 1 episode of AEW Dynamite. He teamed with the rest of Bullet Club Gold and defeated the team of MJF, the Acclaimed, and Billy Gunn on the show. His last singles match took place on the October 25 episode of Dynamite when he was defeated by MJF in the 2023 Dynamite Diamond Ring finals.

Eight-man tag team match added to AEW All Out

An eight-man tag team match has been set for Sunday’s All Out.

The Young Bucks and FTR will team together to take on all four members of Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Juice Robinson, and The Gunns).

A vignette that aired on Wednesday showed FTR confronting The Young Bucks after All In about not shaking hands after their match. As The Young Bucks were expressing their frustration in losing, Bullet Club Gold appeared and mocked them, leading to Wheeler suggesting an eight-man tag match at All Out, with both teams accepting.

A match for the ROH Television Championship was also announced, with former champion Shane Taylor taking on current champion Samoa Joe. A promo with Taylor aired talking about how he was champion for a long time, and would defeat Joe at All Out.

The ROH Tag Team titles will also be on the line with Adam Cole and MJF defending against the winners of a battle royal that will take place on Rampage this Friday.

After Dynamite ended, another match was added to the card on social media, with Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta teaming up to take on Eddie Kingston and ROH Pure Champion Katsuyori Shibata.

Andrade vs. Buddy Matthews ladder match set for next AEW Collision

Andrade El Idolo will have a chance to get his treasured mask back from the House of Black’s Buddy Matthews in a ladder match on next Saturday’s AEW Collision.

Julia Hart of the House of Black took Andrade’s mask recently which he has wanted to get back ever since. Andrade attempted to get into the building on Saturday’s Collision but was escorted out by security due to the House of Black defending the AEW Trios titles on the show.

Malakai Black, Brody King and Hart will be banned from the building for the match.

In trios action, Bullet Club Gold’s Juice Robinson & The Gunns will take on El Hijo del Vikingo, Action Andretti & Darius Martin. Robinson and Jay White defeated Martin and Andretti Saturday, followed by the Gunns attacking Martin and Andretti after the match. This will be Vikingo’s Collision debut.

The new additions join the previously announced AEW Tag Team title match between champions FTR and MJF & Adam Cole.

Here’s the current lineup for Hartford, Connecticut:

  • AEW Tag Team Champions FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) defend against MJF & Adam Cole
  • Andrade El Idolo vs. Buddy Matthews in a ladder match for Andrade’s mask
  • El Hijo del Vikingo, Action Andretti & Darius Martin vs. Juice Robinson & The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn)

The Gunns officially join Bullet Club Gold on AEW Collision

The Gunns have officially joined Bullet Club Gold.

Austin & Colten Gunn were introduced as the newest members of the group on Saturday’s AEW Collision. In a promo, they said they joined Bullet Club Gold because Juice Robinson and Jay White have traveled all around the world. They also said Bullet Club wanted them as they have defeated some of the top tag teams in the last year, including FTR.

The segment also had White mentioning CM Punk’s bag, which he guessed may have Punk’s version of the World Championship. He issued a challenge to FTR, saying he and Juice wanted a shot at the AEW Tag Team titles. FTR, Punk, and Ricky Starks appeared on the video screen, with FTR accepting a future championship match.

The Gunns first helped White on the June 7 edition of AEW Dynamite, helping White defeat Starks. Since then, the four have had an alliance of sorts, wrestling with White and Robinson as a team on last week’s Collision defeating Punk, FTR, and Starks.

Bullet Club Gold vs. Ricky Starks & Shawn Spears set for AEW Rampage

The Bullet Club Gold duo of Jay White and Juice Robinson will take on recent rivals Ricky Starks and Shawn Spears on this Friday’s AEW Rampage.

The show will start at 5:30 PM Eastern due to the NHL playoffs on TNT.

White made his return to AEW as an official roster member several weeks ago, attacking Starks as he was set to face Robinson. Last Wednesday, Starks came to Spears’ aid as Robinson and White gave him a beatdown following White’s win over Komander.

After Jeff Jarrett defeated Dax Harwood Wednesday, a battle of their respective teammates is on tap as FTR’s Cash Wheeler takes on Jay Lethal.

Anna Jay A.S. will go one-on-one with Ashley D’Amboise.

Promos from The Acclaimed and The Outcasts (Toni Storm, Ruby Soho & Saraya) will also be on the show.

The new additions join the previously announced match featuring Naturally Limitless (Keith Lee & Dustin Rhodes) against opponents to be named.
