Mick Foley will be the guest on this month’s edition of Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions.
WWE announced today that Foley will appear on the Broken Skull Sessions episode that premieres on Sunday, June 20. It will be available on Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network everywhere else.
The premiere date ties in with June 20 also being the day of this year’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.
“Just in time for WWE Hell in a Cell, Foley will certainly have a lot to discuss as one of the pioneers of the now infamous match, dating back to the night Mankind and The Undertaker changed sports-entertainment forever competing inside Hell in a Cell at King of the Ring 1998,” WWE wrote.
Whether it was as Mankind, the groovy Dude Love or the extreme daredevil Cactus Jack, ‘Mrs. Foley’s Baby Boy’ has a treasure trove of memorable moments from throughout his career to relive with his one-time co-Tag Team Champion, The Texas Rattlesnake.”
Last month’s Broken Skull Sessions featured The Godfather joining Steve Austin for the episode. The Undertaker, Goldberg, Kane, Big Show, Bret Hart, Ric Flair, Mark Henry, Jerry Lawler, Kurt Angle, Drew McIntyre, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Randy Orton, and Chris Jericho have also previously been guests on the interview series. AEW star Chris Jericho is set to make his first appearance on WWE-produced programming since 2018.
WWE announced today that Jericho will be the next guest on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions. The episode will premiere on Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network everywhere else on Sunday, April 11. It will air on the live stream following the second night of WrestleMania 37.
The WWE Network’s Twitter account had teased the announcement yesterday by posting a 24-hour Austin-themed countdown clock with audio from the countdown clock that was featured in Jericho’s WWE entrance music.
“I was having a beer one night after my Broken Skull Sessions interview with The Undertaker aired, and out of the blue, Chris Jericho reached out and said, ‘Man, that was a great interview,’” Austin said. “I sent him back a couple of those emojis, one of a beer mug and the other of an eagle, and then he called me right then and there.
“We got to talking. I’ve always respected the hell out of his career, and I’m glad they’re around — it gives the guys and girls in professional wrestling more places to work. I said, ‘I’d love to have you on the show.’ And he said he’d love to do it, so I checked with Vince about it.”
Austin told Sports Illustrated about Vince McMahon approving the interview with Jericho: “I texted Vince and said we had this badass idea about Jericho coming on the show. Vince goes, ‘It’s cool. Go ahead.’ But me and Vince don’t always do well with phones and texts and all that, so I texted one more time, ‘Are you sure it’s OK to have Chris Jericho on the show?’ Vince gave me the thumbs up, and Chris came out to do the show.”
Sports Illustrated noted that AEW’s Tony Khan also gave his approval for Jericho to appear on Broken Skull Sessions.
Austin has interviewed Undertaker, Goldberg, Kane, Big Show, Bret Hart, Ric Flair, Mark Henry, Jerry Lawler, Kurt Angle, Drew McIntyre, Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Randy Orton on past Broken Skull Sessions episodes, with The Undertaker appearing on the show twice.
Jericho had his final match for WWE at the Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018. He joined AEW when the promotion launched in 2019.
On this coming Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, The Inner Circle (Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Santana, Ortiz, and Jake Hager) will appear live for the first time since MJF turned against them three weeks ago and formed his Pinnacle stable with Wardlow, FTR, Shawn Spears, and Tully Blanchard. The Inner Circle laid out The Pinnacle in a backstage angle on the most recent episode of Dynamite.
WWE has revealed when the next episode of Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions will be premiering.

Banks appearing on Broken Skull Sessions was first announced via an advertisement for new WWE Network content on Sunday night. It was then announced that the episode would be debuting on the WWE Network in February. A WWE Untold episode on The APA (Farooq & Bradshaw) is premiering on the WWE Network this Sunday (February 7). A WWE 24 episode on Big E and a WWE Day Of episode on this year’s Royal Rumble are also coming to the WWE Network this month.

Asuka & Charlotte Flair defeated Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair and Bayley & Carmella to retain their titles. Bayley & Carmella were the first team eliminated, but they stayed at ringside and helped cost Banks & Belair the match.
Bayley lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Banks at Hell in a Cell this October and has recently been feuding with Belair. Bayley defeated Belair in a singles match on SmackDown two weeks ago.
Bayley held the SmackDown Women’s Championship for more than a year before losing the title to Banks.

A new episode of WWE The Day Of is coming to WWE Network – and it is a bit of a unique case. It appears a new edition of WWE The Day Of will be traveling all the way back to 2015. Typically, The Day Of episodes cover major events that have recently passed, such as the prior month’s pay-per-view. Needless to say, this is a unique one.
Based on what we’ve gathered, this upcoming video will follow Seth Rollins for his big match with John Cena at the Biggest Party of the Summer, SummerSlam 2015. This match was notable as it featured the guest host, Jon Stewart, inserting himself into the proceedings to cause trouble for Cena. This episode will be premiering on Sunday, August 30th.
– Jerry Lawler announced that he’ll be the next guest on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions interview series on the WWE Network. A new episode of WWE Untold was uploaded to the Network today. It’s focused on Shawn Michaels vs. Kurt Angle from WrestleMania 21. A new WWE Chronicle episode on Drew McIntyre is being uploaded tomorrow, and a new WWE 24 on Edge’s return to the ring is premiering on Sunday.

WWE has announced that Big Show will be Austin’s guest on this month’s Broken Skull Sessions episode. It will premiere on the WWE Network at 8 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday, February 23.
This will be the first episode of the interview series that isn’t premiering after a special event. The Undertaker appeared on the debut episode of Broken Skull Sessions after Survivor Series in November, Goldberg was the guest on the episode that aired after TLC in December, and Kane was on the episode that aired after NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II last month.
Big Show briefly returned to WWE television last month and teamed with Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens in their feud against Seth Rollins, AOP, and Buddy Murphy. Big Show was Joe & Owens’ mystery partner for a six-man tag match against Rollins & AOP on Raw on January 6. The teams then faced off in a “fist fight” the next week.
Kane will be Steve Austin’s guest on the next episode of the Broken Skull Sessions.
The WWE Network’s Twitter account announced today that Kane will be the guest on the third episode of Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions interview series. The episode is airing on the Network after NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II on Sunday, January 12.

WWE has revealed the guest for the second episode of Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions.
Goldberg will appear on the Broken Skull Sessions episode that’s airing on the WWE Network after TLC on Sunday, December 15. The interview series debuted after Survivor Series on November 24, with The Undertaker appearing as Austin’s guest for the premiere.

WWE hasn’t announced any matches for the pay-per-view, but the Target Center is advertising Roman Reigns vs. Baron Corbin in a TLC match, Asuka & Kairi Sane defending their Women’s Tag Team titles against Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair in a TLC match, and Rusev vs. Bobby Lashley.
A new series hosted by Steve Austin is coming to the WWE Network later this month.
It was announced via Variety today that the first episode of “Stone Cold Steve Austin: The Broken Skull Sessions” will premiere on the WWE Network after Survivor Series on Sunday, November 24. It will be a monthly interview series, with The Undertaker appearing as Austin’s guest on the debut episode.
“Mark has been doing The Undertaker for 30 years and he has had one of the greatest runs in the history of the business,” Austin told Variety. “He’s stayed in character all this time. He’s made a few appearances on some talk shows way back in the day, but no one has really ever heard from Mark Calaway the man…I think he was enthusiastic because he has been quiet for so long so now he has the chance to share some stories like everyone else has. He’s had one of the most high-profile careers and, back in his heyday, had some of the most outlandish stories from the road. We had a great time shooting the breeze.”
Austin previously hosted the Stone Cold Podcast on the WWE Network. He spoke to Variety about the difference between that show and his new series: “I think this is going to be a little more relaxed and laid back. The other one was live and I was flying around to accommodate the schedule and going out on the road. This is over at the Broken Skull studio, which we’ve built up…It’s basically like a bullsh*t session, talking about someone’s career and trading stories, shooting the breeze.”
WWE noted that the Broken Skull Sessions “will feature no-holds-barred, one-on-one conversations with the biggest names in WWE history, including legends, superstars, and celebrity guests.”
