AEW Revolution available on FITE in U.S. due to Bleacher Report Live issues

Due to several reported issues on Bleacher Report’s B/R Live app, tonight’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view was made available for purchase on Triller (the former FITE) for domestic buyers in the U.S. in addition to the usual international audience.

B/R Live, owned by Warner Bros. Discovery, is the sole domestic streaming provider for AEW PPVs, making the move an unusual one.

AEW head Tony Khan made the announcement on X nearly an hour after the main card began:

Khan pointed out that the B/R Live issues were resolved for “most platforms,” but did not make note of what caused the problems or how affected B/R Live viewers could secure refunds if forced to buy again through Triller.

According to Gavin Sheehan of BleedingCool.com, the issues were “either people cannot access it, can only see the Spanish feed, or are being told they need to buy it again.”

Sports media website Awful Announcing reported on the issues, embedding X posts from users frustrated with their inability to watch the show including media personalities like Barstool Sports’ Brandon Walker and our Bryan Alvarez.

AEW Fyter Fest to stream for free on B/R Live

AEW’s next show will be airing live for free.

During an interview at E3 (the Electronic Entertainment Expo) on Monday, Kenny Omega announced that Fyter Fest will be streaming live for free on Bleacher Report Live. The show is taking place at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida on Saturday, June 29.

A video that was played to promote Fyter Fest included Christopher Daniels vs. CIMA in the matches that are official for the show.

Fyter Fest is in partnership with CEO Fighting Game Championships. This is the second year in a row that CEO and Omega have worked together on a show, with CEO x NJPW When Worlds Collide having been held at the Ocean Center in June 2018.

Omega announced that esports commentator Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez will be calling Fyter Fest with Jim Ross and Excalibur. Mendez, who was also a commentator for NBC’s “The Titan Games,” was part of the announce team for the CEO x NJPW show last year.

Omega & The Young Bucks will team against Pentagon Jr., Fenix, and a partner at Fyter Fest. Jon Moxley vs. Joey Janela, Cody Rhodes vs. Darby Allin, and Hangman Page vs. MJF vs. Jimmy Havoc vs. Jungle Boy are also set for the main card. CEO organizer Alex Jebailey will face AEW’s Michael Nakazawa in a hardcore match on the pre-show.
