wXw will no longer work with Tristan Archer following abuse allegations

Germany’s Westside Xtreme Wrestling has commented on Tristan Archer.

Yesterday, former NXT UK wrestler Amale posted a statement to X accusing Archer of physical and emotional abuse. She also stated that legal proceedings have been initiated.

wXw announced on Tuesday that they will no longer be working with Archer in light of the allegations.

The APC Catch promotion out of France also announced Archer will not be part of their upcoming shows.

“Following recent events and after deliberation with the members of the APC management, it has been decided that Tristan Archer will not appear on the organization’s upcoming shows,” reads a translation of the promotion’s post.

Six promotions including Rixe, CACC, and BZW released a joint statement saying they condemn all forms of violence but are not in a position to comment directly on the allegations. The statement continues to say that since the matter is now under legal proceedings all parties directly involved will be suspended until further notice.

“Nevertheless, given the various public revelations and others subject to legal proceedings, we inform you that the participation of all persons directly involved in this matter in events organized by the signatory promotions will be suspended until further notice,” reads a translation of the below statement.

Former NXT UK wrestler Amale alleges abuse from Tristan Archer

Former NXT UK wrestler Amale is alleging abuse from her former partner, Tristan Archer.

Amale, who was with WWE from 2020 to 2022, posted to social media on Monday stating that she is a victim of “extremely abusive and brazen behavior” by Archer. She also confirmed that legal proceedings have been initiated.

Her statement reads:

“I am writing with the conviction that you will listen to me with the utmost attention. Too many things have remained in the shadows, drowned in uncertainty, the absence of testimonies, and the blind protection of misinformed workers or those who choose to turn a blind eye. I swear that I will only speak about my own experience. These facts go beyond the immediate short-term interests of French wrestling and must be used to clean up this environment, even if it means bringing down its leading figures. I speak out now, cornered by anxiety, pressure, anger, and also fear. I know my testimony will be heard, and that things can finally change.

I am including photos and testimonies of the physical and psychological consequences that I am still enduring today (included below).

I was the victim of extremely abusive and brazen behavior by the French wrestler TRISTAN ARCHER.

My only fault was remaining silent all this time. I didn’t speak out of shame, fear of not being heard, fear of retaliation, but today I act with the belief that everyone in this industry will stand firmly behind what is right. I also count on the unconditional support of the fans in this matter to cleanse this environment, but this story goes far beyond wrestling—it’s a matter of justice, morality, and human conscience.

It is crucial that you are aware of the impact this has had on me, on the wrestling work environment, and the consequences this behavior has had, can have, and will continue to have on this industry. These actions were observed by witnesses who have supported me, and I hope that my testimony will help free the remaining voices that are still tied down by fear or manipulated by this man.

Tristan and I had a past relationship. It was marked by physical, psychological, and emotional abuse. He humiliated me, belittled me, cheated on me, destroyed my confidence, forced me to quit my studies, threatened me, and even threatened my family. He threatened to reveal intimate photos to my family if I did not obey him. When I had suicidal thoughts, he told me he wanted me to do everything he asked before, and that afterward, I could die in peace. Since then, I live in constant fear that he will carry out his threats. This is just one example among many.

He hit and pushed a close friend of mine onto the road when she tried to defend me and warn me about his unhealthy behavior. He then restrained me so that the woman he was having an affair with could hit me, leaving marks on my face for several months. I dissuaded my friend from filing a complaint at that time, blinded by his influence. He has displayed violent behavior towards me, other women, colleagues, and fans.

After some difficult times, everything settled down. He seemed to regret his actions, and I thought that people can change. But he never stopped contacting me. When I didn’t respond to his messages, he would question me: “Where were you, with whom, why didn’t you respond sooner if you were alone, I know you have someone,” etc. And then he would become courteous again.

I moved on when I signed with WWE. During this entire period, he was always kind to me, but he continued to send me messages asking for news, even though I hardly responded anymore. Until one day when I ran into him on a flight to NXTUK. I immediately behaved professionally with him. I helped him get settled, then distanced myself, and everything went smoothly. He begged me not to talk about him during the SPEAKING OUT movement. I was at peace and didn’t want to cause him any harm. Despite his past actions, I chose not to speak before, during, or after the movement. However, his behavior towards me has recently escalated, leading to harassment, threats, intimidation, racist and misogynistic remarks, defamation among my colleagues and wrestling promoters, and attempts to sabotage my career.

Indeed, after my departure from WWE, the first days were tough, but I felt supported by the French circuit. Everything went well at several shows with Tristan and others, the atmosphere was good. But he continued to watch me. He started to have increasingly intrusive behavior. I decided to stay away from him. I started hearing his defamations, his obsession, his relentless efforts to exclude me from shows and turn people against me, until one day everything erupted on the way to a show while I was no longer speaking to him. I heard him say that life was hard for him as a white man and that he never had any privileges, that life was easier for racialized women. This made me break my silence, having truly experienced discrimination because of my origins. But according to him, the only reason I signed was because I’m an Arab woman, because “it sells more” in the media, according to him and his white journalist friends. This was followed by an onslaught against me, my appearance, my ability to be in the ring, my family, etc. It was too mentally overwhelming for me, so I decided to drive myself to the shows or have someone else drive me to avoid ever having to endure such behavior again.

He created a fake account (paulLepaul – pikapika080888 / Dblegends2105) used daily since late 2019 to hide the fact that he had told his then-girlfriend that he wouldn’t contact me anymore, and he blocked me from his main account. This account was used to stalk me, stalk my loved ones (several people found him in their stories), and to perpetuate harassment, persistent unsolicited messages, and all his manipulation to make himself look like the good guy afterward.

He then discovered that I was in a relationship with someone. He stalked us, made insulting remarks about me to my partner in hopes of causing a breakup and sabotaging even my private life. He made very violent, defamatory, misogynistic remarks. Even before this person, he acted the same way with anyone interested in me. His obsession only grew, even displaying this behavior in the locker rooms during wrestling events.

He became very toxic again, spoke ill of me to promoters, caused me to lose bookings, harassed me, and intimidated me on the way to shows. I made sure to always be surrounded by a trusted person if I had to attend events where he was present.

This behavior continued, both at events for various promotions (wXw, Wrestling Kult,…) and during private interactions, causing me enormous psychological pressure. He even threatened to kick me out of the wXw locker room, claiming he was in charge there. Several people witnessed the scene. I took steps to distance myself from Tristan and ensure my well-being, even if it meant making sacrifices, such as stepping away from the ring, arranging my own travel for various shows without requesting reimbursement. The promotions where these incidents occurred, as well as WWE, were informed of his actions. The latter, given the gravity of the facts and the testimonies, decided to exclude him from the WWE Backlash France extras as well as any future participation in WWE events. Other informed promotions have also taken or will take necessary steps to remove him to ensure the maintenance of a healthy work environment.

His constant threats and intimidation have had a devastating impact on my mental and emotional health, leading me to seek professional help and to organize my professional and personal life to avoid him at all costs. I’ve lost a lot of weight, just like when I was under his control (45 kg), and I am going through severe episodes of anxiety, stress, and eating disorders daily, impacting all aspects of my life: my physical health, mental health, relationships, and activities. I feel like I’m dying slowly when all I wanted was to be left alone. (Photos included.)

He even dared to defame me by saying everywhere that the reason I lost weight was because I was taking cocaine when he is the only one responsible for my condition. This has to stop; my life depends on it. The defamation has gone as far as telling people that I was violent in the locker rooms with colleagues/friends. They can refute his claims.

Your support and understanding mean the world to me, and I hope that together, we can work toward a resolution that ensures the safety and well-being of everyone within the French wrestling community. This man is extremely toxic. The involvement and stance of all promotions are crucial to ensuring the healthiest environment possible.

I have already initiated discussions with the press, workers, WWE, Wrestling Kult, wXw, and I hope to count on the support of all promoters, especially in France, fans, and anyone who can hear my voice to help me. I have already tried to discuss this internally within French wrestling, and it has always ended in failure. Today, I speak out publicly to try to make a change, despite the fear of retaliation. In France, more than elsewhere, I believe it is more important than ever that these matters are exposed and revealed to the public, who deserve to see the true face of their wrestlers and protect women and future generations. I know he will try to defame and discredit my words as he always has. But this time, things will be different.

I was pressured to resolve this internally; I had the support of all foreign promotions, but in France, the charade continues. No one wants to act; people find excuses because it’s Tristan Archer; if it had been someone else, there would have been no leniency. I trusted people in the industry who did not hesitate to put me in danger and report my testimony to Tristan, who has since been trying by all means to discredit me. Tristan can be very nice and friendly with people, helpful, kind, but that’s just one side of his personality, which he reveals after every bad action to get forgiven. He is so skilled that people are willing to forgive him for anything, but not this time.

I would like to emphasize that I have moved on. I have moved on with my life and put past mistakes behind me. He has not done the same. I gave him more chances than I can count. All I wanted was to be left alone. I never spoke ill of him, neither to his family, our mutual friends, nor in the locker rooms; I always let him live his life, which was never the case for him. I was forced to defend myself—I have to choose ME. It’s hard, but I have to do it.

A big thank you to all the workers who supported me, helped me DEFEND myself, reminded me of who I am, and gave me the strength to speak out. All the evidence and testimonies have been provided; I leave it to the competent authorities to handle the rest. I just want to be left alone, so please respect that. Legal actions are ongoing, and I will no longer back down from any pressure.

Legal proceedings have been initiated, and I will no longer back down from any pressure. I am making this thread for my protection, to finally be able to move forward in my life, and to help the new generation break free from his grip.

Sincerely,
Amale Dib”

NXT UK Heritage Cup number one contender tournament first round: Teoman (w/ Rohan Raja) defeated Nathan Frazer (14:08)

Round 1 —

They battled in a along lock-up spot early and Teoman worked over Frazer’s arm. Frazer came back at the end of the round and hit a dropkick right at the bell.

Round 2 —

Frazer hit a flying forearm that sent Teoman to the outside, then followed with a dive that only wiped Raja out. This allowed Teoman to throw Frazer into the steps and pin him back in the ring at 1:04 of the round. Teoman 1-0

Round 3 —

Teoman attacked Frazer right away, then beat him down. Frazer came back with some head scissors that sent Teoman to ringside, but he trapped Frazer under the ring skirts and beat him down some more. Frazer came back with a springboard dropkick as Teoman was on the top turnbuckle, then hit a springboard hurricanrana, but the time in the round ran out just as he made the cover.

Round 4 —

They traded blows as the round started, until Teoman went for the crossface but couldn’t get Frazer down. Teoman hit a missile dropkick to the back of Frazer’s head for a very close near-fall. Frazer then it a sort of snap/power small package for a quick pin at 1:49 of the round. Frazer 1-1

Round 5 —

Frazer started with a sling blade and a swinging neck breaker for another near-fall. They did an impressive spot where Frazer evaded a back handspring elbow by Teoman, went for a quebrada, bu got countered into a Falcon Arrow for a near-fall. Teoman fell to ringside and Frazer hit a dive on him, as Raja was on the other side of the ring. Teoman narrowly kicked out of a springboard flying elbow. Frazer then missed a phoenix splash as Raja briefly distracted him, allowing Teoman to hit an inverted headlock driver for the deciding pinfall at 2:47 of the round. Teoman wins 2-1

Final Thoughts —

  • The Blair Davenport beatdown of Samuels and Scala came as a surprise and will undoubtedly have some repercussions for her down the line. It established her as a monster though.
  • The tag match was fine and McKenzie vs. Amale was a nice match that further established McKenzie as the underdog babyface.
  • The Teoman vs. Frazer Heritage Cup match was fantastic as both men continue to shine. I can see Teoman having great matches with both Tyler Bate and Ilja Dragunov down the line.

WWE NXT UK results: Heritage Cup, Women’s title defenses

Taped at BT Sports Studios in London, England

Report —

The show opened with a graphic dedicated to the late, great “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff.

Triple H then talked about how on October 29, 2020 the world had seen one of the best and most brutal matches in WWE history and how WALTER was the longest-reigning champion of the modern era, who defended his championship both in the UK and the US. He also called Ilja Dragunov one of the hardest working men in wrestling and an enigma and was proud to give us the rematch of that epic battle next week.

We then cut to the champion and his challenger sitting at a table in the ring alongside Sid Scala to sign the contracts for their match next week.

WALTER and Ilja Dragunov contract signing —

They actually had press in the front row to ask questions. WALTER was asked if he thought his reign was under threat. He said no, because he was in this for the greater good and the reputation and tradition of this great sport. He said every time he steps into the ring, he was proud to represent the sport. He called Ilja a one-of-a-kind athlete, like nothing he ever saw before, but said that Ilja lacked the mental ability to step up to his level. He said he will have to proof that when he wrestles him again.

Ilja was asked what he learned since his defeat against WALTER. Ilja said it had been some very dark days and a rough time. He said you learn and get better, but failures like this don’t hurt you like a strike, but they hurt your mind. You can’t forget and the memories haunted him and he lost control. He found himself again and was prepared.

Both were asked what to expect for the rematch next week. Ilja said brutality, violence, intensity. He said the match redefined violence and people had forgotten what the word meant. Ilja called WALTER arrogant and said he had a god complex. WALTER interrupted him and asked him about redefining violence. WALTER called him a fraud. He said Ilja was fantastic but not at WALTER’s level. He called Ilja a showman and told him he wanted to grab everyone’s attention.

WALTER screamed at Ilja in German to look at him and said that if it wasn’t for him, Ilja would still be a cashier at a German supermarket. Scala tried to calm WALTER down, but it was to no avail.

Ilja was close to tears and said that last time, he thought all his stamina, all his power might be enough, but it wasn’t. He said he had respect for WALTER. He said after all WALTER had done to him, all the respect is gone and all that is left is hate.

Ilja said next week in this ring, he would break WALTER. He said he would walk away with the NXT UK title or he would not walk away at all. WALTER dared him to do something right now and they went forehead to forehead. WALTER told him to keep himself calm and Ilja said that he was.

This was amazing and this recap cannot do it justice. If you can spare ten minutes, watch this segment.

Round 4

Coffey wrestled with urgency and hit big moves but Bate countered him repeatedly. He hit an exploder on the bigger man, then followed with a running shooting star. Bate hit the airplane spin but Coffey eventually elbowed his way out. Coffey missed a bulldog off the turnbuckles and bonked heads shortly before the round ended.

Round 5

Bate went into the post shoulder first and got rolled up, but narrowly kicked out. Coffey evaded the Tyler Driver ’97, but got hit with the springboard lariat for a near fall. Bate then hit the Tyler Driver 97 at 0:58 of the round to win the match. Bate wins 2-1

All four men shook hands after the match.

Final Thoughts:

A good show with an awesome non-wrestling segment between WALTER and Dragunov. Whenever and however it happens, it will be tremendous.

The two title matches both were good, even though nobody believed that either challenger had a chance to win.

Amale especially is good and has a cool character, so hopefully she can be put in another meaningful program soon.

The Teoman/Raja team also is good and it will be interesting if they add more people to that stable.

Full rundown:

Nigel McGuinness and newly appointed NXT UK play-by-play announcer Andy Shepherd welcomed us to the show. Shepherd is the former NXT UK ring announcer and previously called some early UK Tournament shows. They were interrupted by the lights going out and Finn Balor’s music playing.

Balor came out, said his name and that he wasn’t hear to pop ratings but to call out WALTER. The champion’s music played and he came out and stared Balor down from ringside. The rest of Imperium appeared and Alexander Wolfe welcomed Balor to NXT UK, said this was Imperium’s domain and vowed to give Balor a welcome. Balor quickly disposed of Aichner and Barthel, then escaped a German suplex attempt by Wolfe and gave him a sling blade before ducking a clothesline by WALTER and escaping to ringside.

Piper Niven was interviewed earlier in the week. She talked about her and Toni Storm being like sisters and she had to come out during the Storm/Kay Lee Ray I Quit Match to talk some sense into Toni before she’d get crippled.

She said she never could have interfered in the match, as Toni would never have talked to her. She said when she comforted a sobbing Toni, she looked up at KLR and saw that she was evil. She vowed to do something about her.

A highlight video on Tyler Bate aired.

Pretty Deadly (Lewis Howley & Sam Stoker) beat Dan Moloney & Dereiss Gordon

Pretty Deadly threw their shirts at their opponents and beat them down. Moloney made a brief comeback against Howley and tagged Gordon, who showed some good athleticism. Stoker tagged back in and together, Pretty Deadly attacked Gordon once more.

An assisted uppercut had Gordon down for a near-fall as Pretty Deadly tagged in and out in quick succession. Gordon finally got the hot tag and Moloney ran wild on both members of Pretty Deadly. Pretty Deadly came back with Deadly Pretty (an assisted Codebreaker) on Moloney for the win.

Alexander Wolfe walked up to Johnny Saint and Sid Scala all agitated and demanded a match against Finn Balor. Saint just looked at him and nonchalantly said “OK”.  Jordan Devlin then walked up and declared he was back in the UK. Scala informed him that he would defend his NXT Cruiserweight title against Travis Banks in two weeks.

Dave Mastiff, Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster were at the UK Performance Center when Gallus walked up to talk trash. They agreed to face off in a six-men match next week.

Noam Dar pinned Ligero

Ligero took over early after Dar tried evading him. Dar came back with a dropkick through the ropes onto Ligero on the apron, that sent Ligero to ringside. Dar worked over Ligero’s hand back in the ring, then applied a chinlock. and tugged away at Ligero’s mask.

Ligero threw Dar to ringside, then followed up with a plancha. After Ligero took over for a bit, he went for a handspring armdrag, but got caught in a Fujiwara armbar. Dar attacked Ligero’s legs, then hit the Nova Roller for the win.

Travis Banks was being interviewed about meeting Jordan Devlin for the Cruiserweight title. He promised to be the first ever Kiwi champion in NXT history.

Dani Luna and Amale went to a no contest

Luna threw Amale halfway across the ring, then took her down repeatedly. Amale came back with a hammerlock, but Luna lifted her up with one hand and hit a fall away slam. Just as Luna looked ready to deal out more punishment, Kay Lee Ray ran out and attacked both women for the no contest.

Kay Lee Ray said that now that she had successfully got rid of Toni Storm, she was here to let every girl in NXT UK know that this division belonged to her. Luna briefly attacked her but quickly got taken out with a Gory Bomb. KLR reiterated that the division belonged to her.

A video on Aoife Valkyrie aired, where she claimed every feather she wore stood for a battle she won to become who she was.

Finn Balor pinned Alexander Wolfe

Balor quickly took over with a hammerlock on the mat, then followed with a dropkick off a sunset flip roll-through. He followed up with a sitting cobra clutch but got backed into the corner. He kicked away at Wolfe and hit some chops. Wolfe came back with a backbreaker, then hit some punches.

As Wolfe locked in a waist lock, the rest of Imperium slowly walked to ringside. Wolfe rammed his shoulders into Balor in the corner, then locked in a bear hug. Balor came back with a double chop to the chest, then hit a running basement dropkick on Wolfe.

Balor repeatedly stomped Wolfe while locking eyes with WALTER. He hit a sling blade and went to attack out of the corner, but Barthel came in and grabbed his leg while Aichner looked to attack. Balor fought him off as the referee then ejected Imperium from ringside.

Wolfe hit an enzuigiri and went for a sit-down power bomb, but Balor escaped and hit a double foot stomp on Wolfe, who came back with a bridging German suplex. Balor escaped a fireman’s carry into a slop drop, then hit a running drop kick and hit the coup de grâce, followed by the 1916 for the pinfall victory.

Next week:

Dave Mastiff, Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster will face Gallus in six-men action.
