The filing is listed as covering goods and services relating to merchandise, including various cookware:

  • Non-electric cookware, namely, pots, pans, and dishes; Flatware being plates and saucers; Drinkware; Cups; Mugs; Utensils for barbecues, namely, forks, tongs, turners; Kitchen containers

AEW files for ‘Summer Blockbuster’ trademark

A new trademark filing appears to have revealed the name of an upcoming AEW special.

The promotion applied to trademark the term “AEW Summer Blockbuster” on April 14. The filing looks to be for an upcoming event or series of events, but that has not been announced yet and there are no further details about it. The filing is listed as covering the following goods and services:

Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of professional wrestling programs and events.

AEW has two TV specials coming up this week with Boston hosting Spring BreakThru editions of Dynamite on Wednesday and Collision on Thursday. Both shows are airing live. Wednesday’s event will celebrate Dynamite surpassing WCW Nitro as the longest-running prime time weekly wrestling show in the history of TBS/TNT.

Among the other special events AEW has coming up are Double or Nothing and Fyter Fest 2025. Double or Nothing is a pay-per-view taking place from Glendale, Arizona on Sunday, May 25, while Fyter Fest is a four-hour TV special set for Denver, Colorado on Wednesday, June 4.

All In (July 12) and Forbidden Door (August 24) will be AEW’s next PPVs after Double or Nothing.

AEW files for two trademarks hinting at Christmas programming

AEW has filed for two new trademarks with both hinting at upcoming Christmas-themed programming.

The promotion applied to trademark the terms “Dynamite on 34th Street” and “Christmas Collision” on November 18. Both filings are listed as relating to the following goods and services:

Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of professional wrestling programs and events; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of professional wrestling.

The trademark applications are similar to the one AEW made for “Fright Night Dynamite” last month, which ended up being for a themed episode of Dynamite that took place on the day before Halloween.

Christmas falls on a Wednesday this year, though whether Dynamite will be airing an episode that night has not been confirmed. AEW does not currently have any Dynamite or Collision locations announced past December 18, but Collision will reportedly air live from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on December 21.

AEW will be building up its Worlds End pay-per-view during the holiday season with that event set to take place on Saturday, December 28.

AEW files for ‘Parade of Champions’ trademarks

A pair of new AEW trademark filings could be hinting at a new show name for the promotion.

Educational and entertainment services, namely, a continuing program about wrestling accessible by radio, television, satellite, audio, video and computer networks; Entertainment services in the nature of live wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of wrestling programs and events; Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing multimedia program featuring wrestling distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing series featuring wrestling provided through television and the internet; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of wrestling.

No details regarding these trademarks or how they will be used have been announced yet.
