AEW Dynamite video highlights: Orange Cassidy gets his revenge

The AEW World Tag Team Championship match participants for Fyter Fest were decided on last night’s Dynamite.

The main event saw Best Friends defeat Sammy Guevara & Chris Jericho to retain the right to challenge for the tag belts at Fyter Fest. Additionally, Orange Cassidy got revenge on Chris Jericho and a match between the two was announced for Fyter Fest.

Kenny Omega & Hangman Page defeated Dustin Rhodes & QT Marshall in the Dynamite opener to retain the AEW Tag Team titles.

It was a busy night in the tag division as The Young Bucks took on Kip Sabian & Jimmy Havoc, while FTR and The Butcher and The Blade got involved in a brawl with the other teams after the match.

Cody also retained his TNT Championship with a win over the debuting Ricky Starks.

AEW Dynamite video highlights: TNT title tourney preview

AEW Dynamite unexpectedly had to go back on the road Wednesday, forced to move from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL, to QT Marshall’s gym in Georgia.

Due to a lack of their regular talents being unable to appear due to travel issues surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, the company continues to work with different lineups in an effort to keep some sort of normalcy. In this case, it’s the road to the TNT Championship tournament that kicks off next week.

We got a preview of that tournament in the night’s main event as Cody and Darby Allin teamed up against Shawn Spears and Sammy Guevara which ended with Allin punching Cody after the match was over.

See that and the rest of the night’s highlights below.
