AEW Dark results: Lee Moriarty vs. Leon Ruffin

This week’s AEW Dark matches were taped at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

Lee Moriarty defeated Leon Ruffin

Moriarty took Ruffin (the former Leon Ruff in WWE NXT) to the mat with an armdrag when the bell rang. Ruffin fought back, much to the approval of the crowd, and stood to his feet by applying a headlock to Moriarty. This wouldn’t affect Moriarty, however, as he easily escaped.

Ruffin would go on to dodge a running Moriarty attack and turn it into a backbreaker. After Moriarty made it back to his feet, he planted Ruffin with a pump handle suplex, followed by a discus lariat for a near fall.

Ruffin went to the top rope and tried to make magic happen, but Moriarty caught him with a knockout blow following the jump. Shortly after, Moriarty hit a elevated flatliner for the win.

He and ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham will face Tully Blanchard’s Gates of Agony on Friday’s Rampage.

Bear Country defeated The Skulk (Adrian Alanis & Liam Gray)

Gray and Bear Boulder started off. After Boulder almost threw him across the ring, Gray tagged out to Alanis. Bear Bronson came in and delivered a few chops to Alanis in the corner before Gray came in and chipped the knee of Bronson. Alanis tried to capitalize on the opportunity, but Bronson sat down on him for a near fall.

Boulder came in shortly after and caught Gray in a powerslam while nailing Alanis with a powerbomb. Moments later, Bronson came in for the assisted cannonball for the win.

AQA defeated Avery Breaux

Breaux was very aggressive from the get-go, trapping AQA in the corner with her boot and following up with a cannonball. After that, Breaux had AQA trapped in a headlock until she fought out of the hold. AQA followed her escape up with a rolling neckbreaker for the victory.

Josh Woods defeated Barrett Brown

The former ROH Pure Champion wrestled Brown to the mat when the bell rang. After Brown fought out of a few different holds, Woods delivered a few single-leg shotgun kicks. Woods quickly submitted Brown with an armbar moments later.

Sonny Kiss defeated Lamar Diggs

Diggs overpowered Kiss early on, throwing him around the ring with ease. Kiss fought back and delivered a couple of kicks to the head, which took Diggs to the mat. Moments later, Kiss tapped out Diggs with a crossface.

Aaron Solo (w/ QT Marshall) defeated Fuego Del Sol

Fuego missed a tornado DDT attempt early on and spilled to the outside. After beginning an argument with QT Marshall, Solo charged and kicked Del Sol outside of the ring.

When both men made it back in the ring, Solo delivered a standing suplex. After having control for a few more moments, Solo lost his grip on the match after Del Sol hit the tornado DDT. When Del Sol transitioned to a hangman’s clutch, Marshall jumped on the apron and distracted the referee.

This led to Solo hitting a backdrop bomb for a very close near fall. Solo was frustrated at this point which allowed Del Sol to trap his arm and roll him up for the win.

Jay Lethal & Satnam Singh (w/ Sonjay Dutt) defeated Darian Bengston & Gus De La Vega

Bengston and Lethal started off. Bengston didn’t last long before Vega came in and was on the receiving end of some strikes from Lethal. The match changed course after Singh entered and delivered a massive big boot to Bengston. Shortly after, Singh delivered his signature spinning helicopter bomb on Bengston for the win.

Dark Order (Evil Uno, 10, John Silver & Alex Reynolds) defeated The Wingmen (Peter Avalon, Ryan Nemeth, JD Drake & Cezar Bononi)

Although Nemeth and Uno started off , tags were frequent as the match fell apart early. Bononi began to work down Reynolds as the crowd began to fire up Dark Order. Drake came in and delivered a great swinging neckbreaker as Dark Order began to get antsy on the apron, awaiting the hot tag.

Silver eventually scored the hot tag and sent Avalon flying across the ring with an overhead german suplex. After nailing Nemeth with a forearm, Silver then delivered a brainbuster to Avalon. Uno came in and attempted a swanton on a seemingly down Avalon, but it ultimately missed as Avalon rolled out of the way.

The Wingmen got one last gasp, hitting a few combination top rope maneuvers before succumbing to a assisted dive from Reynolds and 10. Moments later, Avalon was rolled in the ring and was hit with a discus lariat from 10 which gave Dark Order the win.

AEW Dark results: Wheeler Yuta vs. Tony Nese ROH Pure title match

This week’s AEW Dark matches were taped at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, and featured the AEW debut of Caleb Konley in addition to the return of Jake Something.

Willow Nightingale defeated Ashley D’Amboise

Nightingale’s energy radiated through the building for the opening bout. D’Amboise was overwhelmed with her offense at first, taking a few strikes before being struck with a running cannonball in the corner. Moments later, Nightingale planted her with a doctor bomb for the win.

The Factory (Aaron Solo & Nick Comoroto) (w/ QT Marshall) defeated Knull & Matt Vandagriff

Solo and Vandagriff started off, but Solo didn’t last long before he tagged out to Comoroto who toyed with his opponent before tagging back out to Solo. This bout wasn’t taken seriously by The Factory until Knull tagged in.

Knull delivered a body splash in the corner to Comoroto and even had him reeling for a few moments. Knull’s size matched Comoroto and that was working for him until Comoroto put him down with a very impressive Alabama Slam for the win.

Matt Sydal defeated Jake Something

Something went right after Sydal, but Sydal evaded him with a signature combination of agility and speed. The former Impact wrestler continued to string any type of offense together, but failed as Sydal dodged everything that was thrown at him.

After nailing a few kicks and even taking Something off his feet, Sydal trapped Something in a roll-up after a hurricanrana for the surprise win.

Athena defeated Amber Nova

Nova tried to come off the middle rope with a crossbody shortly after the bell rang, but Athena caught her and dropped her to the mat. Nova got back up and nailed two consecutive northern lights suplexes, but they only got a one count.

Athena took the bout to the mat seconds later and locked in combination of a hammerlock and a leg lock which made Nova submit almost instantly.

Dante Martin defeated Lucky Ali

This was insanely fast paced from the get-go. Martin and Ali exchanged multiple counters and maneuvers, which included Ali dodging a few pop-up kicks from Martin. Ali got more offense than expected, even hitting a springboard clothesline when the match was at its peak.

Things began to turn in Martin’s favor when he delivered a crossbody from the high rent district. He followed that up with the Nosedive for the pin and win.

Julia Hart defeated Valentina Rossi

Hart shoved Rossi to the bout after grabbing a handful of hair. Hart definitely showed more aggression than usual here as she delivered a great running back elbow in the corner. Moments later, Hart tapped Rossi with a armbar stretch for the win.

Fuego Del Sol defeated Marcus Kross

Kross almost scored a surprise win within the first minute after hitting a running crossbody for a near fall. Del Sol regained control after delivering a running knee while Kross was stuck in between the ropes. Del Sol made quick work of Kross after this, delivering a tornado DDT, transitioning to a Hangman’s Clutch for the submission victory.

After the bout, QT Marshall came out and offered Del Sol a spot in The Factory. Sol declined, saying that he’s headed to the promise land of AEW without Marshall and company.

Dark Order (Evil Uno & 10) defeated The Wingmen (Ryan Nemeth & JD Drake)

Nemeth and 10 started off. 10 delivered a standing suplex to Nemeth, much to the satisfaction of the crowd. Uno came in shortly after, but Nemeth was able to work his way around Uno and tag in Drake.

Drake and Nemeth continuously tagged in and out to work down Uno, specifically just trying to wear him out. 10 eventually got the hot tag and took out Drake with a diving shoulderblock before taking out Nemeth with his signature spinebuster.

Drake disposed 10 out of the ring before he could make a cover, which allowed Nemeth to take out Uno with a neckbreaker. Drake followed that up with a moonsault for a near fall. After that pin attempt, Drake and Uno spilled to the outside while 10 hit a discus lariat on Nemeth in the ring for the win.

After the bout, the remaining members of The Wingmen came out and began beating up Uno and 10. This prompted Silver and Reynolds to hit the ring for the save.

Ariya Daivari defeated Caleb Konley

Daivari and Konley went at it early, dodging each other’s moves in rapid succession. Konley delivered a leaping double stomp to Konley to get the advantage for only moments as Daivari sent Konley crashing into the turnbuckle moments later.

Konley would deliver valiant attempts at getting back in the match, but nothing really lasted as Daivari eventually hit his signature frog splash to win the bout.

Wheeler Yuta defeated Tony Nese (w/ “Smart” Mark Sterling) to retain the ROH Pure Championship

This was far and away the best match on the show, and, frankly, the only match that had any substance to it.

This bout was contested under Pure rules.

Yuta dodged a Nese running attack and delivered a powerslam to start the match. When Nese began to make his way back to his feet, Yuta delivered an open palm strike but Sterling claimed it was a closed fist. This led to an opening for Nese to strike Yuta with a closed fist himself, but referee Mike Posey was distracted and didn’t see it.

Nese took advantage and began to work down the midsection of Yuta with a bodyscissors. Yuta used two of his three rope breaks during this time, which put him in prompt danger. As Nese was celebrating this feat, Yuta popped back up and began delivering a flurry of strikes before climbing the top rope and diving onto Nese with an elbow.

Yuta looked to capitalize on his string of offense, but Sterling caught his feet and made him drop to the mat. This lead to Nese attempting a pin, but Yuta’s feet were caught in the ropes, meaning his last rope break was used. Yuta then used a closed fist on Nese out of pure frustration, causing Posey to issue him a warning.

Nese locked Yuta in a Boston Crab next, but Yuta used the ropes to flip the hold upside down. Yuta followed that up with a straightjacket crossface which made Nese submit.

After the bout, Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard and Angelo Parker hit the ring and beat up Yuta. Garcia posed over Yuta with the ROH Pure Title to end the show, citing he was going to take Yuta’s belt and his honor after Blood & Guts.

ROH Pure title match set for AEW Dark

The ROH Pure Championship will be defended on AEW Dark.

Wheeler Yuta is set to defend his belt against Tony Nese on the show.

This will be Yuta’s second defense of the title since winning it from Josh Woods at ROH Supercard of Honor on April 1. He then successfully defended the belt against Woods in a rematch on an episode of Dark taped May 1.

This week’s edition of Dark was filmed on June 11 from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

AEW Dark airs Tuesdays beginning at 7 p.m Eastern time on YouTube. The full lineup for the show is as follows:

  • ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta defends against Tony Nese
  • JD Drake & Ryan Nemeth vs. Evil Uno & 10
  • Fuego Del Sol vs. Marcus Kross
  • Dante Martin vs. Lucky Ali
  • Athena vs. Amber Nova
  • Ariya Daivari vs. Caleb Konley
  • Willow Nightingale vs. Ashley D’Amboise
  • Nick Comoroto & Aaron Solo vs. Matt Vandagriff & Knull
  • Matt Sydal vs. Jake Something
  • Julia Hart vs. Valentina Rossi

AEW Dark results: Jay Lethal vs. Blake Christian

This week’s AEW Dark matches were taped at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

Max Caster (w/ Anthony Bowens) defeated Trevor Aeon

Caster made quick work of Aeon, pummeling him with a series of hard-hitting maneuvers. After playing to the crowd, Caster hit Aeon with the Mic Drop for the victory.

Serpentico defeated Vary Morales

These two started off with fast-paced exchanges and reversals. Serpentico gained the upper hand and nailed Morales with an impressive power bomb. Shortly after, Serpentico beat him with a Gotch-Style Neutralizer for the win.

Kris Statlander defeated Ava Everett

Statlander immediately took Everett to the mat and hit a standing frog splash. Everett responded with a few nasty forearms in the corner, but Statlander wouldn’t take that lightly, delivering her twisting sit-out powerbomb for the victory.

Dark Order (John Silver & Alex Reynolds) defeated The Wingmen (Peter Avalon & Cezar Bononi)

Avalon was dominated early which led to him tagging out to Bononi. Bononi worked down Silver in the corner with a big boot, but that didn’t lead to much as Silver tagged out to Reynolds once he got a chance. Reynolds cleaned house of Bononi, but before that, Avalon had made a secret tag. Avalon looked like he had a chance to take off Reynolds’ head with a clothesline, but he got caught in a roll-up pin instead which scored Dark Order the win.

The Varsity Blonds & Brock Anderson (w/ Arn Anderson) defeated Terry Yaki, Jay Lucas & Larry Lazard

The opposing team across Anderson and The Blonds didn’t get a single move in as they were all cleared out one by one. Griff Garrison got the majority of the offense, hitting Lucas with a rolling elbow before delivering a front facing slam for the victory.

Diamante defeated Devlyn Macabre

Macabre had the early advantage after tripping Diamante when she went to bounce off the ropes. Both women eventually made their way back to their feet and engaged in a striking war with mainly kicks. Diamante made easy work of Macabre after, locking her in a straightjacket crossface for the submission victory.

Tony Nese defeated JDX in a ROH Pure Rules Match

Nese slammed JDX to the mat as soon as the bell rang. JDX stood back up after recovering and nailed Nese with a right hand, but Nese responded by taking JDX to his knees and blasting him with a reverse kick to the skull. Moments later, Nese transitioned a pump handle into a piledriver for the win.

After the bout, “Smart” Mark Sterling called out Wheeler Yuta on Nese’s behalf for a ROH Pure Title match next week. Later on, Yuta accepted.

ROH Women’s Champion Mercedes Martinez & Serena Deeb defeated Yaide & Anna Diaz

Deeb and Martinez made quick work of their opponents, locking them in their respective submissions after dodging attacks from both women, picking up yet another victory as a team.

Jay Lethal (w/ Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh) defeated Blake Christian

This was about the only match on the show with any type of substance.

Lethal and Christian tied up in a lockup that fizzled out once it made it in the corner. Lethal was very brash in his actions, but Christian took advantage of the moment with a dropkick that sent Lethal tumbling into the bottom rope.

Lethal regained the advantage after Christian failed to capitalize on a dropkick. The match slowed down significantly at this point with Lethal applying a rest hold. The crowd willed Christian to his feet which prompted him to hit a standing sliced bread for a near fall. Christian followed with a ripcord Spanish Fly for another very close near fall.

Christian went for a 450, but Lethal got his knees up. Lethal hit the Lethal Combination, followed by a top rope elbow drop for the win.

AEW Dark Elevation results: Matt Sydal vs. QT Marshall, Andrade vs. Frankie Kazarian

It’s Monday and you know what that means: a fine eight-match AEW Dark: Elevation taped last Wednesday at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri.

Excalibur, Mark Henry and Anthony Ogogo were on the call tonight.

ROH Women’s Champion Mercedes Martinez & Serena Deeb defeated Heather Reckless & Tootie Lynn

The story of this match was more about the tension between Deeb and Martinez, but that they were still able to get the job done. Deeb used the Serenity Lock on Reckless to get the submission in a quick squash match. This was their second Dark: Elevation win as a team and the second over a team with Lynn on the other side.

Andrade El Idolo (w/ Jose the Assistant) defeated Frankie Kazarian

This was all about two experienced wrestlers playing their game and it was fun. In terms of peed, both were pretty well-matched, but Andrade had the advantage in terms of size and strength.

Jose interfered to help Andrade when needed. Andrade destroyed Kazarian’s chest with several heavy chops, but Kazarian rallied late, getting two near falls with a cradle and then a crucifix pin. Kazarian used a Japanese Ocean Cyclone for a near win, but the hammerlock DDT from Andrade (14-8) was enough. This was my match of the night.

Marina Shafir & Nyla Rose defeated Heidi Howitzer & Max The Impaler

Max and Rose (opponents last week) were pretty much even in terms of strength, but Rose’s experience was enough to help her overwhelm Max. Rose had the most impressive spot of the match, hitting a Diamond Dust. Shafir picked up the win for her team, submitting Howitzer with Greedy. as Rose speared Max out of the ring.

Swerve In Our Glory (Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland) defeated Davey Vega & Mat Fitchett

Swerve in Our Glory is still not fully on the same page due to the events of the Casino Battle Royale. Lee used a spirit bomb on Vega to get the win, ignoring Strickland on a tag for their combined finisher. Could this be the beginning of the end for their team?

Anna Jay defeated Rebel

This was Rockin’ Rebel’s AEW debut. Jay (40-12) used the Queenslayer to get a quick submission.

Tony Nese (w/ Mark Sterling) defeated Warhorse

Warhorse got big reaction from the crowd, but that wasn’t enough as Nese (17-2) used a spinning kick and a knee strike to get the win.

Ruby Soho defeated Miranda Gordy

Before the bell rang, Gordy blindsided Soho, but Soho’s experience enabled her to turn things around quickly. Soho used Destination Unknown to get the win.

Matt Sydal defeated QT Marshall (w/ The Factory)

This was a homecoming match for Sydal who was really motivated as the crowd was always on his side. The Factory boys helped Marshall every time the referee was distracted, but once they were caught, they were ejected. Sydal (39-32) used a hurracarrana and a small package to surprise Marshall for the win. This was an interesting match to watch.

AEW Dark results: Konosuke Takeshita vs. Nick Comoroto, Ethan Page vs. Kazarian

This week’s AEW Dark matches were filmed last Saturday at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

QT Marshall (w/ Aaron Solo) defeated Alan Angels

Marshall immediately began beating down Angels as soon as the bell rang. After a few moments, Angels seemed to have a chance to take down Marshall with an aerial maneuver from the apron but Solo swept his feet from underneath him.

This wouldn’t stop Angels from delivering a combo of strikes once he regained his composure. Angels followed that up with a frog splash, but Marshall kicked out at the last second.

Shortly after, Marshall surprised Angels with a diamond cutter to score the victory.

Bobby Fish defeated Brock Anderson

Fish trapped Anderson in a wristlock as the bell rang. Anderson was clearly outclassed here as Fish rained down on his midsection with a flurry of strikes. Anderson was seemingly headed towards a obvious defeat until he reversed a few of Fish’s moves and nailed him with a great looking spinebuster.

After a few more moves, Anderson rolled up Fish with a backslide cover. Instead of kicking out, Fish maneuvered the pin into a knee bar which forced Anderson to submit.

After the bell, Darby Allin rushed into the ring to stop Fish from further attacking Anderson.

Jericho Appreciation Society (Daniel Garcia, Angelo Parker & Matt Menard) defeated Jack Banning, Ray Rosas & Sinn Bodhi

Every man of the opposing team got a chance in the match, but the JAS wiped the floor with all of them. Within seconds, Garcia locked in a sharpshooter on Banning who submitted nearly instantly while Parker and Menard stood on the ropes and celebrated.

Anna Jay, Ruby Soho & Kris Statlander defeated Nyla Rose, Emi Sakura & Diamante

Diamante and Soho started off with Soho gaining an early advantage after throwing a few strikes. Sakura tagged in after Diamante had retreated to the corner which prompted Statlander to come in as well. After hitting a great standing frog splash, Statlander tagged Jay in but that would end up being to their detriment.

She became an easy target for Sakura after she nailed a double underhook backbreaker. Diamante and Rose also got a chance to beat down Jay before Soho got the hot tag to a massive ovation. Rose and Soho had a good exchange that led to Statlander being tagged in and entering with a crossbody. Diamante came in when Rose got a chance to tag out, but Statlander delivered her signature piledriver shortly after for the victory.

Anthony Ogogo defeated Nick Ruiz

Ogogo delivered a few short-arm uppercuts and followed that up with a shoulder tackle. Once Ruiz stood back up, Ogogo landed his signature pop-up knockout punch for the win.

Konosuke Takeshita defeated Nick Comoroto

Takeshita sent Comoroto over the top seconds after the match had began and was looking for a dive. Comoroto moved out of the way just in time and the match eventually made its way back in the ring.

Comoroto took control, working down the back of Takeshita while playing to the crowd. Takeshita reversed a back body drop attempt from Comoroto and landed on his feet, leading to a striking exchange between the two. After sending Comoroto out of the ring again, Takeshita successfully hit a dive over the top rope.

The final moments saw Takeshita hit a frog splash for a near fall. Comoroto responded with a neckbreaker for another near fall. Out of nowhere, Takeshita blasted Comoroto with a flying knee for the victory

Matt Sydal defeated Taylor Rust

Sydal and Rust both had great intensity at the onset. Sydal, who didn’t go unscathed himself, focused on overwhelming Rust with his hard-hitting offense. Rust got a few moves in here and there, but Sydal defeated him rather quickly with the Lightning Spiral.

Ethan Page (w/ Dan Lambert) defeated Frankie Kazarian

Page was dominated early by Kazarian — so much so that he tried to leave the arena with Lambert. Kazarian stopped that from happening, but Page gained an advantage because of the change of pace. The match eventually made it back in the ring where Page still had an advantage.

Page began to lose his edge after the crowd got behind Kazarian. After hitting a few clotheslines along with a few springboard moves, Kazarian seemingly had the match in the bag until Lambert distracted him. With the distraction, Page was able to roll up Kazarian for the win.

After the bout, Kazarian put Lambert in a crossface chicken wing until Page made the save. This prompted Christopher Daniels to hit the ring to save Kazarian. Before Page and Sky left ringside, Page reminded SCU that they aren’t allowed to team in AEW anymore.

AEW Dark results: Toni Storm, Lance Archer, Christopher Daniels in action

Matches for this week’s AEW Dark were taped at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California, last Friday.

Lance Archer defeated Aaron Solo

This was Archer’s first AEW match in nearly two months.

Solo gave Archer a shoulder tackle as he was climbing in the ring, sending him to the floor. Archer regained his composure at ringside before grabbing and pulling Solo out of the ring and chokeslamming him on the apron.

After the match made it back inside, Solo attempted to chop down the knee of Archer but it didn’t do much damage. Archer responded with a chokeslam, followed by the Blackout for a quick victory.

Archer will be looking to be involved in the interim World title challenger battle royal tomorrow night.

Christopher Daniels defeated Steven Andrews

This was Daniels’ first AEW singles match since the March 2nd Dynamite when he opened the show against Bryan Danielson. It was also a homecoming of sorts for the former SCU team member.

Andrews got a bunch of heat from the California crowd early on after hitting Daniels with a bunch of “flippy” moves. Daniels decided he had enough after about sixty seconds and hit the BME for the victory — his first singles win in AEW since late-May 2020.

Marina Shafir defeated Skye Blue

Blue dropkicked Shafir off the apron as she was getting in the ring. Blue capitalized on the momentum after throwing Shafir into the barricade a few times before rolling her back in the ring. Blue then looked to dive onto a stunned Shafir at ringside, but Shafir caught her in mid-air and swung her into the barricade.

Once the match made it back in the ring, Shafir began throwing and kicking Blue around with ease. Shafir eventually began a series of judo throws before locking Blue in a submission that involved both the leg and arm which got her to quit. Shafir is now 2-0 since her loss to TBS Champion Jade Cargill.

Ortiz defeated Serpentico

This was only the third singles match for Ortiz in his AEW history (0-2 against Cody Rhodes, Jon Moxley).

Serpentico took Ortiz lightly early on, which didn’t bode well for the former Jon Cruz. Ortiz was able to maneuver in and out of Serpentico’s attempts at fast moves before planting him with a double underhook tiger driver for his first AEW singles victory.

Tony Schiavone later interviewed Ortiz backstage who cut a promo about wanting to take Chris Jericho’s hair at the upcoming Road Rager edition of Dynamite.

Toni Storm defeated Zeda Zhang

Zhang and Storm traded strikes after the match started with a few headlocks. Storm then dropped Zhang on her head with a german suplex before following that up with a hip attack in the corner. Shortly after, Storm hit her signature Storm Zero piledriver for the victory.

Max Caster & Gunn Club defeated Dark Order (10, John Silver & Alex Reynolds)

Silver and Caster started off. Caster wanted nothing to do with Silver and tagged out to Austin, who got manhandled by Silver. Colten Gunn came in shortly after and began to isolate Silver with a series of kicks in the corner.

Tags began to come frequently for Caster’s team. The advantage didn’t last for long as the crowd willed 10 into a hot tag. After planting Austin with a spinebuster, 10 did a crotch chop motion to Billy Gunn at ringside.

Dark Order started to clean house at this point with all three members hitting moves in stride and conjunction. Alex Reynolds was the legal man when Billy Gunn struck him with a crutch when the referee was distracted. Shortly after, Austin Gunn made the successful pin.

AEW Dark results: Mercedes Martinez, Dark Order in action

This week’s AEW Dark matches were taped last Friday in Las Vegas prior to/after Rampage.

ROH Women’s Champion Mercedes Martinez defeated Viva Van in a non-title match

Martinez took Van to the mat early on and began transitioning between different holds. She didn’t let Martinez get far as she fought out of said holds and began targeting various limbs with kicks.

The strikes didn’t effect Martinez though as she quickly fought back with her signature Brass City Sleeper, which made Van submit. Martinez has been on a roll the last two months.

The Butcher & The Blade defeated Hunter Grey & Paul Titan

The Butcher & The Blade each destroyed both of their opponents with short arm lariats within the opening seconds of the bout. Grey recovered and thought he had a moment to strike Butcher, but that would prove to be untrue as the AFO duo finished him off with a double-team backbreaker seconds later.

Anthony Ogogo defeated Carlie Bravo

Ogogo planted Bravo into the mat as the bell rang and applied a headlock. Bravo didn’t get any offense in before Ogogo hit him with his signature knockout punch. Instead of pinning Bravo, Ogogo elected to pick up the victory via knockout instead.

Jamie Hayter defeated Danika Della Rouge

Hayter trapped Rouge in the corner and delivered a slew of right elbow strikes. After nailing Rouge with a snap suplex, Hayter hit a ripcord lariat for the victory as her road back from her Owen Hart Tournament loss to Toni Storm.

Dark Order (John Silver, Evil Uno, 10) defeated Peter Avalon, Ryan Nemeth and Serpentico

Serpentico got picked on early as Silver showed off a display of strength with a few shoulder tackles. Uno came in after Silver was finished, but that’s where the match turned around as Avalon and Nemeth snuck in a few double-team maneuvers. Serpentico attempted a pump kick on Uno, but Uno caught his foot and threw it into the referee’s hands, allowing Uno to hit a neckbreaker.

Things went downhill for Avalon and co. after 10 got the hot tag and bulldozed everybody in the match. Silver would come in shortly after to hit the pendulum bomb for the win.

AEW Dark results: Johnny Elite vs. Marq Quen, Darby Allin vs. Brandon Cutler

This special Saturday edition of AEW Dark was filmed at Friday’s Rampage tapings from the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Darby Allin defeated Brandon Cutler

Allin made quick work of Cutler and also managed to send a message to his Double or Nothing opponent, Kyle O’Reilly. After hitting Cutler with a suicide dive and a Coffin Drop, Allin locked him in Sting’s Scorpion Deathlock to get the submission.

After the match, Allin went to get a chair on the outside, possibly to do the same thing to Cutler that O’Reilly did to Sting, but Bobby Fish & O’Reilly came to the rescue and dragged Cutler out of there. Allin then got on the mic and said that he knows O’Reilly’s leg isn’t 100% and at Double or Nothing, he’s going to do to him what he did to Sting.

Anna Jay defeated Sandra Moone

Ahead of her TBS Championship match against Jade Cargill on Sunday, Jay got a tune-up match. The finish saw Jay hit a series of kicks and lock in the Queenslayer.

After the match, Cargill’s music hit and the TBS Champion made her way to the stage along with her Baddies and “Smart” Mark Sterling. They didn’t cut a promo, but yelled things at Jay before Cargill held up her title and eventually left.

House of Black (Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews & Brody King) defeated Adriel Noctis, Gregory Sharpe & Matt Brannigan

Other than a brief moment where their opponents tried to attack King three on one, this was all House of Black. It eventually came down to everyone in the ring at the same time. That’s when King hit a Gonzo bomb on one opponent and then hit a cannonball in the corner on another, and Matthews then hit what used to be called Murphy’s Law to pick up the victory.

Riho, Yuka Sakazaki & Skye Blue defeated Nyla Rose, Diamante & Emi Sakura

The heels used some underhanded tactics to gain the advantage early. After Riho hit Sakura with a bulldog, Sakura motioned to the ref that she had lost a tooth. With the ref’s attention diverted, Vickie Guerrero grabbed at Blue’s leg from the outside. Blue left the ring to confront her, but was hit with a big Rose clothesline. This allowed the heels to go on offense for a period.

The heels worked on Blue until she was able to make a hot tag to Sakazaki, who hit a springboard dropkick and a sliding lariat on Sakura. Sakazaki then hit her with the Merry Go Round but Rose broke up the pin. This brought everyone into the ring and the heels managed to get the advantage. They then worked on Sakazaki until eventually she was able to make a tag out to Riho.

Riho hit a crossbody on Diamante and then everyone was back in the ring again. The babyfaces knocked all the heels out of the ring and then all hit dives to the floor on top of their opponents. When things got back in the ring, Riho hit a northern lights suplex and meteora on Diamante for the win.

Death Triangle (PAC, Penta Oscuro, & Rey Fenix) defeated QT Marshall, Nick Comoroto & Aaron Solo

Death Triangle got the early advantage, hitting a trio of dives outside the ring onto their opponents.

Back in the ring, Comoroto managed to get the better of Fenix and the Factory started to isolate him. The Factory made use of quick tags and double teams to work on Fenix for a period until he eventually made a hot tag out to his brother.

Penta hit a diving crossbody and a sling blade on Marshall. Solo and Comoroto hit the ring and were taken out by both Lucha Bros. PAC then tagged in. He hit a springboard cutter on Marshall, a series of kicks, and a German suplex for a two count.

Marshall hit a springboard kick but couldn’t tag out since everyone was brawling on the outside. He then hit a Liger bomb on PAC for a two count. He finally tagged out to Solo and the Factory triple teamed PAC for a period.

Solo hit a double foot stomp on PAC, but Fenix came off the top to dramatically break up the pin after. The Lucha Bros gave Marshall a double superkick on the outside, taking him out of the equation.

Penta then tossed Comoroto into the steel steps, leaving Solo on his own. The Lucha Bros then hit Fear Factor and PAC locked in the Brutalizer and got the submission.

Johnny Elite defeated Marq Quen

Before the match, Isiah Kassidy cut a promo calling for anyone to come out and face Quen. This brought out Johnny Elite to answer the challenge for this unadvertised match.

Kassidy taunted Elite before the bell by putting on Elite’s jacket. This allowed Quen to attack from behind. Despite the underhanded tactic, Elite was able to take control of the match early.

Elite went to toss Quen out of the ring, but Private Party pulled their Silly String move and Quen hit a DDT as he bounced back in the ring.

Elite eventually fought back and hit what Excalibur called a wheelbarrow drop, a running knee to the face, and a shooting star press for a two count.

Elite went for a springboard kick and hit the ref square in the face. With the ref down, Private Party came in and double teamed Elite. They hit Snapshot on Elite and revived the ref. Elite got his shoulder up before the three count, however.

Quen missed a shooting star press, Elite dove and hit Kassidy on the outside and then kicked Quen into position for Starship Pain. He then hit it to get the victory.

After the match, some guy came into the ring, took Elite’s jacket, danced very strangely and then hugged him. They then both danced in very strange fashion as the show went off the air. It’s being said by some on social media that this guy was “Dad” played by Nathan Barnatt who competed as a boxer on a Creator Clash event and Elite accompanied him to the ring.

AEW Dark results: Lee Moriarty vs. Alan Angels, Roppongi Vice vs. The Wingmen

This week’s matches were taped at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

Kris Statlander defeated Avery Breaux

Breaux overestimated the ability of Statlander early on, throwing strikes at her in the corner. Statlander was down for just a few seconds before jumping up and hitting her signature Night Fever piledriver for the victory. She faces Ruby Soho in an Owen Hart Foundation tournament semifinal this Friday.

Jericho Appreciation Society (Matt Menard & Angelo Parker) defeated Eli Isom & T.U.G. Cooper

Parker delivered an armdrag to Isom as the bell rang. Menard came in and began to tire down Isom. After a few minutes of working down Isom, Cooper somehow secured a tag. He came in and ate a double jumping DDT from both Menard and Parker, which led to a J.A.S. win shortly after. Menard and Parker will be in the Anarchy at the Arena match at Double or Nothing.

AQA defeated Brittany Jade

AQA applied a side headlock as the match began and kept it on tight for about a minute before Jade responded with her own side headlock. Jade had control of the bout for a split second after delivering a neckbreaker, but AQA responded shortly after with her signature swinging neckbreaker for the victory.

Lee Moriarty defeated Alan “5” Angels

Moriarty and Angels were very evenly matched early on as they both traded holds and strikes. As the match went on, both guys started laying their strikes in more and more with Angels targeting the midsection and Moriarty targeting the upper left arm.

Angels was running on fumes after nearly avoiding a countout, but he used his second wind to deliver a series of kicks to the dome of Moriarty. Angels then turned his focus to positioning Moriarty on the top turnbuckle. After delivering a great knee strike to keep him up there, Angels took Moriarty off the top with a Spanish fly.

Moriarty took his time to recover, but once he was back in it, he was back in it. Moriarty delivered a great tope to Angels, who landed on his hurt arm, to the outside. Shortly after, Moriarty submitted Angels in the center of the ring with his modified crossface.

Sonny Kiss defeated Carlie Bravo

Bravo had a great start as he gathered a lot of heat from beating Kiss down. Kiss fought back valiantly, responding with a standing moonsault knee drop. Kiss kept up the offense afterwards, delivering some great strikes. Shortly after, Kiss delivered a split legged moonsault for the victory.

Robyn Renegade defeated Vicky Dreamboat

Renegade beat down Dreamboat for about three minutes before delivering a pump handle slam. Renegade then attempted a moonsault, but Dreamboat moved out of the way at the last possible second.

Dreamboat had a moment to recover and tried to suplex Renegade once she got back in the ring, but the move was reversed into a brainbuster from Renegade which got her the win.

After the match, Tony Schiavone accused Renegade of using “Twin Magic” with her sister, Charlotte.

Anthony Ogogo defeated Trenton Storm

Ogogo took Storm to the mat immediately and began beating down on him. It looked like the match was going to be all Ogogo until Storm pulled a nice standing dropkick out of thin air. That was about it for Storm as Ogogo delivered a fantastic gut punch shortly after which earned a ref stoppage.

Leva Bates defeated Kiah Dream

This match went about sixty seconds with Bates getting in 99% of the offense with her good strikes. The focus was Excalibur reading his promo reads. Bates would go on to win with a backslide pin that was nearly botched.

Roppongi Vice defeated The Wingmen (Ryan Nemeth & Peter Avalon)

The Wingmen attacked Roppongi Vice at ringside before the bell could ring. Once the brawl made it back in the ring, both Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero had full control of The Wingmen.

Beretta would fall victim to a double team maneuver from The Wingmen as the match went on as he was trapped in the apron skirt by Nemeth. Avalon used this to his advantage and delivered a boot to Beretta’s skull. Avalon followed this up with a great clothesline for a near fall.

Everything changed when Romero got back in the match as he hit a forever clothesline on both Nemeth and Avalon. Nemeth would try a famouser next, but Beretta and Romero delivered a combo of running knees. When Beretta went to capitalize, JD Drake clipped his feet. Orange Cassidy ran down to the ring and distracted Drake, allowing Romero to dive onto him.

The finish of the bout came swiftly after when Beretta lifted up Nemeth for a Dudebuster, but Romero came off the top rope with the assisted stomp on the move for the victory.

They face FTR for the ROH Tag Team titles Wednesday.
