Wrestling Observer Live: CM Punk returns to WWE Raw
I am back with another Sunday episode of Wrestling Observer Live, talking about all the latest news from the week in pro wrestling.
The big story, of course, was CM Punk’s return to WWE and his relatively tame promo on Monday’s Raw. I discuss what to expect from his return and what matches we might see, including the rumor that “Stone Cold” Steve Austin could be a future opponent.
There has also been talk that WWE is close to finalizing negotiations regarding television rights for Raw. I run through all the reported scenarios, including the possibility that the Monday institution could end up on a streaming service.
Plus, I do a roundup of everything that happened on Friday’s WWE SmackDown and Saturday’s AEW Collision in addition to my fascination with vampires. Yes, you read that right.

I am back with another Sunday edition of Wrestling Observer Live, talking about the biggest stories this week — headlined by CM Punk’s surprise return to WWE at the end of Saturday’s Survivor Series.
Punk came out right as the show was going off the air. I break down how this came together, who knew about it, and how the talent reacted. What’s next for Punk and who might he feud with upon his return?
I recap the entire Survivor Series card including both the men’s and women’s WarGames matches. Randy Orton returned and looked to be in great shape, and there were some wild high spots in the women’s match.
Plus, I review Saturday’s AEW Collision and Rampage and the updated Continental Classic standings. Also, how will the Punk news affect AEW?
