When it was time for the match, MVP came out in his suit and said while the Royal Rumble winner would be defeating Elias tonight, he wasn’t talking about himself. Instead Omos came out and won the match.

Akira Tozawa later attempted to declare himself for the Royal Rumble match. However, WWE official Adam Pearce said he would have to earn it. Tozawa ended up losing to Bronson Reed.

Country music star Hardy to perform at WWE Royal Rumble

Country music star Hardy will be performing live at the Royal Rumble later this month.

WWE announced during Raw on Monday that Hardy will perform the single “Sold Out”, the official theme song for Royal Rumble, live on January 28 at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Hardy appeared on Raw during a Music City Street Fight between Solo Sioka and Elias. At one point during the match, Hardy gave Elias a guitar, which Elias used to attack Sikoa with. Towards the finish, Hardy entered the ring and smashed another guitar in the back of Sikoa. However, Sikoa was unfazed by the attack. Hardy immediately left the ring as Sikoa soon picked up the victory after throwing Elias on top of a piano.

After the show ended, WWE posted an interview with Hardy, who said he wanted to help his fellow musician.

Hardy previously performed for WWE at the 2020 Tribute to the Troops event.

Here is the updated lineup for Royal Rumble:

Bray Wyatt vs. LA Knight Pitch Black match set for WWE Royal Rumble

Bray Wyatt will meet LA Knight next month at the Royal Rumble.

Knight issued the challenge to Wyatt on Friday’s SmackDown, with Wyatt accepting. Later, it was announced the two will meet at the Royal Rumble on January 28 in what is being called a Pitch Black match. The match will be sponsored by Mountain Dew.

Wyatt came out Friday to apologize for attacking a cameraman last week when Knight came out. He challenged Wyatt for the Royal Rumble. Wyatt agreed to the match, saying that it is about time he showed Knight and the world just how cruel he could be.

This brought out Uncle Howdy, who entered the ring. He then proceeded to lay out Wyatt with the Sister Abigail, allowing a bewildered Knight to exit the ring.

Since his return in the fall, Wyatt has been stalked by a person in a mask calling himself Uncle Howdy. At first, it appeared that this may have been Wyatt under a mask. However, Howdy revealed himself as a separate entity from Wyatt on a recent episode of SmackDown.

Here is the current card for Royal Rumble:

  • Men’s Royal Rumble match
  • Women’s Royal Rumble match
  • Mountain Dew Pitch Black match: Bray Wyatt vs. LA Knight

Tag title match, Royal Rumble qualifier set for next WWE SmackDown

The bout was set up in a backstage segment on this week’s SmackDown in a promo where the babyface roster was mocking Top Dolla for botching a dive on last week’s show.
