WWE NXT Gold Rush week 2 spoilers from New York City

Spoilers for NXT Gold Rush week 2.

Here are results for next week’s NXT Gold Rush event, which was taped following Tuesday’s live show at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden. Spoilers courtesy of PWInsider.

  • Jackson Drake defeated Sean Legacy to retain the EVOLVE Championship. This match was taped prior to the start of the live broadcast.
  • Kendal Grey defeated Laney Reid to retain the EVOLVE Women’s Championship
  • Myles Borne defeated Trick Williams. The match was made on this week’s episode of NXT after Borne attacked Williams with a steel chair.
  • Lei Ying Lee defeated Kelani Jordan and Jordynne Grace to win the TNA Knockouts title. Lee pinned Jordan to become the new champion.
  • Fallon Henley defeated Zaria to become the new WWE Women’s Speed Champion

It was announced that next week’s show will also have John Cena announce the men’s and women’s Iron Survivor Challenge participants ahead of Deadline on December 6. Whoever wins those matches will challenge for the NXT and NXT Women’s titles respectively at New Year’s Evil.

At the Performance Center on Thursday night, WWE NXT taped its final episode of 2024.

The show is airing on The CW Network on New Year’s Eve (Tuesday, December 31) and will feature the following matches:

– Kelani Jordan defeated Lola Vice

Stephanie Vaquer made the save when Cora Jade attempted a post-match attack.

– Ethan Page defeated Cedric Alexander

– Three-way tag match: Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson defeated Gigi Dolin & Shotzi and Kayden Carter & Katana Chance

– Izzi Dame defeated Sol Ruca

– Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont & Tyriek Igwe defeated Andre Chase, Hank Walker & Tank Ledger

– There was an NXT 2024 Male Superstar of the Year segment (Trick Williams, Oba Femi, Tony D’Angelo, and Ethan Page are the nominees)

Next week’s Christmas Eve edition of NXT has also been filmed in advance with spoilers available here. The show will be back live on Tuesday, January 7 for its New Year’s Evil 2025 special.

Here are spoilers for next week’s NXT.

NXT taped an additional episode following their live broadcast in Lowell, Massachusetts on Tuesday. They will tape an additional episode later in the week for the final show of 2024.

  • Stephanie Vaquer defeated Cora Jade. At some point, Kelani Jordan attacked Jade with a kendo stick.
  • Lexis King defeated Charlie Dempsey to win the Heritage Cup trophy. William Regal hit Dempsey with brass knuckles, helping King score the win.
  • Unholy Union (Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn) defeated Fatal Influence (Jazmyn Nyx & Jacy Jayne). Kayden Carter & Katana Chance prevented Fallon Henley from interfering.
  • Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis defeated Dion Lennox
  • The NXT Championship match for New Year’s Evil was made into a three-way, which will now see Trick Williams defend against both Oba Femi and Eddy Thorpe.
  • Christmas Chaos four-way match: OTM defeated Myles Borne & Tavion Heights, Hank & Tank, and the D’Angelo Family (Stacks & Luca Crusifino) to become the new number one contenders for the NXT Tag Team titles.
