The TNA International Championship changed hands at Friday’s Final Resolution event.
Stacks (formerly known as Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo) of WWE NXT defeated Steve Maclin to claim the International Championship on Friday’s show in El Paso, Texas. Stacks becomes the third different wrestler to hold the International title since its inception earlier this year.
Maclin was the inaugural champion after winning a tournament final at Unbreakable in April, then dropped the title to Frankie Kazarian in September at Victory Road, before winning the belt back at Bound for Glory in October.
It was a big night for the Stacks character who was also featured in the show-closing brawl between WWE NXT wrestlers and members of the TNA roster, including TNA authority figure Santino Marella. As revealed on NXT programming earlier this year, Stacks is engaged to Marella’s daughter, NXT wrestler Arianna Grace.
Our full Final Resolution report including news of four debuting wrestlers is available here.
Multiple wrestlers made their surprise TNA debuts at Friday night’s Final Resolution event.
In an unannounced open challenge on the Countdown to Final Resolution pre-show, Bear Bronson and Brock Anderson made their TNA debuts alongside CW Anderson as the opponents for The System’s Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, and Moose. CW has worked occasional dates for TNA dating back to 2004. Brock took the pin from Myers in the trios match.
Vincent and Dutch of The Righteous also debuted on the Final Resolution program, confronting Matt and Jeff Hardy after the Hardys retained their TNA Tag Team titles in a victory over Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe of WWE NXT.
Prior to the Tag Team title bout, a mystery vignette aired on the video wall allowing Dupont and Igwe to get a jumpstart on The Hardys. The vignette was a tease for The Righteous.
The card is set for Friday’s TNA Final Resolution event with a new Knockouts title challenger confirmed, plus a new match added to the pre-show.
Xia Brookside defeated Dani Luna on Thursday’s Impact show to become the new number one contender to Lei Ying Lee’s TNA Knockouts World Championship. Brookside will now challenge Lee for the title on Friday’s Final Resolution special on TNA Plus.
Another new match is official for the program, with Eric Young vs. Cedric Alexander set for the Countdown to Final Resolution pre-show.
The Countdown to Final Resolution begins at 8:30 p.m. Eastern time on Friday, December 5, with the main card beginning at 9 p.m. Eastern time.

Countdown to Final Resolution pre-show: Eric Young vs. Cedric Alexander
TNA Final Resolution 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most stacked December cards the company has delivered in years. With multiple championships on the line, heated rivalries coming to a head, and faction warfare set to unfold, this event has all the ingredients for a dramatic night. Based on ongoing storylines, momentum, and TNA’s typical booking patterns, here are the predictions for every confirmed match on the card.
TNA Final Resolution 2025 Predictions
TNA World Championship: Frankie Kazarian (c) vs. JDC
JDC enters this match riding career-best momentum, but Frankie Kazarian has been positioned as a stabilizing champion since reclaiming the title. With JDC’s storyline retirement looming in 2026, the most likely scenario is Kazarian retaining.
Prediction: Frankie Kazarian retains
TNA Knockouts World Championship: Lei Ying Lee (c) vs. Dani Luna or Xia Brookside
Lei Ying Lee has been one of TNA’s breakout stars in 2025, and her championship reign still feels fresh. Whether she faces Dani Luna or Xia Brookside, both challengers are logical next steps rather than long-term title holders.
Prediction: Lei Ying Lee retains
TNA World Tag Team Championship: Matt & Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Tyson Dupont & Tyriek Igwe
TNA continues using the Hardys as veteran champions to build younger teams. Dupont and Igwe have upside, but this doesn’t feel like the show where the belts change hands.
Prediction: Matt and Jeff Hardy retain
TNA X-Division Championship: Leon Slater (c) vs. AJ Francis
Leon Slater remains a cornerstone of the X-Division, and AJ Francis’ power-based style presents a solid clash but not necessarily a title-winning moment. Unless TNA plans a major shock, Slater should retain.
Prediction: Leon Slater retains
TNA International Championship: Steve Maclin (c) vs. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo
Stacks has momentum as a rising act, but Steve Maclin is one of TNA’s most protected competitors. His International Championship run has been positioned as dominant, and Final Resolution doesn’t feel like the moment he loses the belt.
Prediction: Steve Maclin retains
TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship: The IInspiration (c) vs. Tessa Blanchard & Victoria Crawford
This is one of the most intriguing matches of the night. Tessa Blanchard’s return has been treated as a major deal, and pairing her with Victoria Crawford sets up a ‘powerhouse’ duo. TNA may want a high-profile title change to create buzz, making this one of the most likely flips on the card.
Prediction: Tessa Blanchard & Victoria Crawford win the titles
Mike Santana vs. Charlie Dempsey
Charlie Dempsey is technically brilliant, but Santana needs a big win after he lost the belt to Kazarian to keep him relevant.
Prediction: Mike Santana wins
Street Fight: Matt Cardona vs. Mance Warner
Mance Warner thrives in chaotic brawls, and Cardona usually excels as a sneaky, opportunistic heel. Still, Warner is the more natural winner in a weapons-heavy environment.
Prediction: Mance Warner wins
Order 4 vs. The Rascalz (Eight-Man Tag)
Order 4 has been pushed as a dominant new force, and Mustafa Ali’s leadership suggests the group is being positioned strongly. The Rascalz will deliver the flashier offense, but the story momentum favors the heel faction.
Prediction: Order 4 win

Why Final Resolution 2025 Is a Must-Watch Event
Final Resolution traditionally serves as TNA’s final major show of the year, and the 2025 edition is no exception. The main event sees Frankie Kazarian defending the TNA World Championship against JDC, who enters the title match with major momentum and what may be one of his last opportunities to secure world championship gold before he retires in 2026.
The Knockouts division also takes center stage. Lei Ying Lee continues her breakout year as she defends the Knockouts World Championship against either Dani Luna or Xia Brookside, depending on who secures the challenger spot leading into the event. The Knockouts Tag Team division is just as heated, with The IInspiration set to defend against the powerhouse duo of Tessa Blanchard and Victoria Crawford.
The card also features big-profile championship defenses from Leon Slater, Steve Maclin, and the legendary Hardy Boyz, who look to maintain their grip on the Tag Team Championships against rising challengers Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe.
The eagerly anticipated TNA Final Resolution 2025 will take place on Friday 5 December 2025 at the El Paso County Coliseum in El Paso, Texas. The event will be streamed live via TNA+, the official streaming service from TNA Wrestling.

TNA has announced seven new matches for their Friday, December 5 Final Resolution event to stream on TNA Plus.
JDC was victorious in a de facto number one contender’s match on Thursday’s Impact to earn a TNA World title shot against Frankie Kazarian at Final Resolution. JDC has announced his intention to retire after Genesis in January, but it is unclear if that is storyline or a legitimate retirement.
The Knockouts World title will also be on the line with either Xia Brookside or Dani Luna challenging for the championship at Final Resolution. Brookside vs. Luna in a number one contender’s match is on tap for the December 4 Impact. Kelani Jordan holds the Knockouts title at present, but defends on Tuesday’s WWE NXT Gold Rush show.
The X-Division title will be n the line at Final Resolution with Leon Slater defending against AJ Francis. In another new title bout, Steve Maclin puts his International title on the line against Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo of WWE NXT.
Matt and Jeff Hardy will defend the TNA Tag Team titles against an NXT team at Final Resolution, facing Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe.
