WWE has announced that The Usos will again put their titles on the line against The Street Profits at SummerSlam on Saturday, July 30. The PPV is taking place at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Usos vs. Street Profits is a rematch from last Saturday’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view. The Usos retained their titles against The Street Profits in that match, but the referee missed that Montez Ford had his shoulder up while being pinned.
The Usos defeated RK-Bro this May to unify the SmackDown and Raw Tag Team titles.
The updated card for SummerSlam is listed below:

The Raw Tag Team titles will officially be on the line in a triple threat match at WrestleMania 38.
WWE has confirmed that RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Riddle) will defend their Raw Tag Team titles against The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) and Alpha Academy (Chad Gable & Otis) at WrestleMania. The match will be part of the card for WrestleMania 38 night two on Sunday, April 3.
Two weeks ago, RK-Bro regained the Raw Tag Team titles by defeating Alpha Academy and Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens in a triple threat match. Alpha Academy were champions going into that match after winning the titles from RK-Bro in January.
The Street Profits confronted RK-Bro on Raw last week and challenged them to a title match at WrestleMania. Dawkins & Ford brought up that they had defeated Orton & Riddle in a tag match before RK-Bro won the titles.
Alpha Academy then inserted themselves into the title picture for WrestleMania by interrupting a singles match between Riddle and Ford on Raw last week.
On tonight’s Raw, RK-Bro will take on Alpha Academy in a non-title match.

Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro defend against The Street Profits and Alpha Academy in a triple threat match
RK-Bro agreed to a Raw Tag Team title match against The Street Profits at WrestleMania 38 tonight on Raw.
During the show, RK-Bro held a celebration in honor of them winning the Raw Tag Team titles on last week’s Raw, defeating former champions Alpha Academy and the team of Kevin Owens & Seth Rollins in a three-way match. During the celebration, The Street Profits came out and challenged RK-Bro to a title match at WrestleMania. Orton declined the match initally, but Riddle agreed, saying they needed to face someone at WrestleMania.
An altercation between Montez Ford and Riddle turned into a match. However, the match ended when Alpha Academy came in and took out both teams. WWE has yet to officially confirm the match for WrestleMania.

Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford defeated The Mysterios after Rey & Dominik weren’t on the same page leading into the finish.
The RK-Bro-nament finals were originally supposed to take place on Raw two weeks ago, but the match was postponed to tonight. WWE claimed that both teams had suffered injuries. Ford was unavailable until making his return at WWE’s house show at Madison Square Garden last night.
The Street Profits defeated AJ Styles & Omos by countout in the first round of the RK-Bro-nament, while The Mysterios defeated Chad Gable & Otis.
Orton and Riddle defeated Otis and Gable in singles matches on Raw tonight. Riddle said he would have a gift for Orton after their matches. Riddle revealed that the gift was a hug — and Orton hugged Riddle after initially hesitating. Orton jokingly went to give Riddle an RKO, and then they laughed and hugged again.
Riddle & Orton have been Raw Tag Team Champions since winning the titles from Styles & Omos at SummerSlam this August.

The Street Profits and Rey & Dominik Mysterio were scheduled to face off in the tournament finals on Raw tonight, but WWE announced that the match has been postponed and will instead take place on Raw in two weeks (Monday, December 27). The announcement stated that the postponement was due to injuries suffered by both teams.
The team that wins the RK-Bro-nament will get the next shot at Randy Orton & Riddle’s Raw Tag Team titles. The tournament began last week with The Street Profits defeating AJ Styles & Omos by countout and The Mysterios defeating Alpha Academy’s Chad Gable & Otis.
Tonight’s Raw is taking place at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The show will feature Bobby Lashley addressing his actions from last week, where he laid out WWE Champion Big E, Seth Rollins, and Kevin Owens. WWE is teasing that Lashley will be added to the WWE Championship match against Big E, Rollins, and Owens at Day 1.
Also set for tonight’s Raw are: Miz TV with The Miz and Maryse, Bianca Belair vs. Doudrop, and we’ll hear from Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
The finals of the RK-Bro-Nament will take place on next week’s Raw.
Rey & Dominik Mysterio will take on The Street Profits in the finals of a tournament that started tonight on Raw. The Mysterios defeated Alpha Academy to advance, while The Street Profits defeated AJ Styles and Omos by countout when Omos did not enter the ring by the count of ten.
Riddle established the tournament tonight as a way to determine the next challengers for the WWE Raw Tag Team titles. Riddle, wearing a sport coat, did commentary for both matches. He first interviewed Styles, who was surprised by Omos walking out on him after Styles told Omos to listen to him. Later in the show, Riddle tried to interview Alpha Academy after their loss, but Otis ended up laying Riddle out with a slam.
Although Orton initally joined Riddle on commentary for the first match, he left Riddle prior to the second match, saying his broadcasting career was over, at least for now.
Raw will take place next week at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
A pair of tag team matches have been added to Raw’s go-home show for Crown Jewel.
WWE Champion Big E and his Crown Jewel challenger Drew McIntyre will team up again as they face Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode on Monday’s Raw. Big E & McIntyre defeated Ziggler & Roode on the October 4 episode of the show.
Big E & McIntyre also teamed together on Raw earlier this week, losing by countout against The Usos. Dissension between Big E and McIntyre led to them brawling on the floor and ignoring the referee’s count. The show ended with McIntyre countering the Big Ending and laying out Big E with a Claymore.
It’s also been announced that Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro will face The Street Profits in non-title action on Monday’s show. RK-Bro are defending their titles against AJ Styles & Omos at Crown Jewel on Thursday (October 21).
The Street Profits were selected by Raw in the WWE Draft earlier this month. On last night’s SmackDown, they unsuccessfully challenged for The Usos’ SmackDown Tag Team titles in a street fight.
Monday’s Raw is taking place at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. Here’s the updated lineup for the episode:
Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair defends against Bianca Belair

The Street Profits moved to Raw in the WWE Draft earlier this month, while The Usos remained on SmackDown. The post-draft rosters don’t officially go into effect until next Friday, which is the day after Crown Jewel.
SmackDown is airing on FS1 tonight due to game one of the MLB American League Championship Series between the Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros being on Fox. The Supersized SmackDown episode is two-and-a-half hours long, and the last half hour will be commercial-free. The last half hour of the show is going head-to-head with the first half hour of AEW Rampage.
Here’s the updated lineup for tonight’s SmackDown:

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos defend against The Street Profits
WWE has added two matches to the card for tonight’s episode of SmackDown.
SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos will face off with The Street Profits in a non-title match on tonight’s show. Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro will also take place on SmackDown tonight.
Tonight’s SmackDown will be headlined by Roman Reigns defending his Universal Championship against Finn Balor. Last week, The Street Profits came to Balor’s defense and helped him even the odds in a brawl with Reigns and The Usos. Balor and The Street Profits took out The Usos as Reigns got away.
“Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins have the opportunity to catapult themselves back into the SmackDown Tag Team Title picture if they can beat The Usos in an intriguing Championship Contenders Match,” WWE.com wrote.
Rollins defeated Cesaro in their two most recent singles matches against each other. Prior to that, Cesaro had defeated Rollins twice earlier this year.
Edge defeated Rollins at SummerSlam two weeks ago. Promos from both Edge and Rollins aired on SmackDown last Friday. Edge said he’s moving on from Rollins and wants to challenge for the Universal Championship.
Rollins seemed to disingenuously congratulate Edge, saying that the loss taught him something about himself. Rollins said Edge won his respect and admiration. Rollins said that — if he wants to fight his way back to the Universal Championship — maybe he needs to be a little more like Edge.
VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida is hosting tonight’s SmackDown.
Monetz Ford returned to TV on tonight’s SmackDown after briefly being out of action due to injury.
Ford teamed with Angelo Dawkins tonight to defeat the team of Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler, with Ford getting the win with a frog splash.
It was reported on June 25th that Ford had undergone surgery. Dave Meltzer reported that it was surgery that was voluntary and not related to an injury, and something that should not keep Ford out of action for a long period of time. Ford was written off TV briefly following an attack from Otis that took place on the June 11th edition of SmackDown.
WWE later issued a storyline update. SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, the wife of Ford, said on an episode of The Bump that he was at home recovering from rib injuries.
In the month of July, Angelo Dawkins wrestled two singles matches, one where he lost to Otis on July 2 and another match on July 23 where he defeated Chad Gable.
The Street Profits will be in action on next week’s SmackDown.
On SmackDown tonight, it was announced that The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) will face The Alpha Academy (Otis & Chad Gable) on next Friday’s episode of the show. The match was made after a segment where The Street Profits were attacked by Otis tonight.
After The Street Profits lost to The Usos on SmackDown last week, Gable approached Dawkins and Ford backstage on tonight’s show and said he’s seen a downward trend in their careers. Gable said Ford has lost at least six inches on his frog splash and Dawkins’ Sky High is now more like a “grounded medium.” Gable said he can advise The Street Profits in the same way that he’s advised Otis. The Street Profits were insulted and declined Gable’s offer.
Otis later confronted The Street Profits and told them that they were out of line. Otis said The Street Profits need to apologize, but Ford said they didn’t owe anyone an apology. The Street Profits told Otis that Gable is holding him back. When Dawkins and Ford said Otis needs to get out of the Alpha Academy, Otis attacked both of them.
The Street Profits cut a promo later in tonight’s show and warned Otis that he better stay away and mind his own business. Ford said they don’t know what kind of machine Otis thinks he is, but they’re about to send him and Gable back to the dump where they belong.
The build to Hell in a Cell continues tonight on SmackDown.
The Usos will take on The Street Profits on tonight’s show. It will be the first time The Usos have teamed up since Jimmy Uso’s return from injury. Last week, Jimmy went to Sonya Deville to request a match against The Street Profits without telling Jey Uso about it in advance.
Jey was upset that Jimmy didn’t ask him first, and he worried about Roman Reigns’ reaction. Jey decided to discuss it with Reigns, who was furious that Jimmy made the match.
Also, last week, Cesaro demanded another shot at Reigns’ Universal Championship at Hell in a Cell. Seth Rollins ran out and gave Cesaro a vicious beatdown, including two curb stomps at ringside.
Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews defeated Big E, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn in a fatal four-way to retain the title last week. Big E was in control when the returning Aleister Black made his way out. He hit Black Mass on Big E, which led to Crews getting the win.
Tonight’s show will also feature a SmackDown Tag Team title rematch with Rey & Dominik Mysterio defending against Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode. The Mysterios defeated Ziggler & Roode at WrestleMania Backlash earlier this month to become the first father-son tag team champions in WWE history.
Our live coverage begins at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

This was a good opening segment. Both teams were great here.
The Usos defeated The Street Profits
The Usos and Street Profits had a really good match. They started at a slow pace, but it picked up towards the end.

Roode said tonight is going to be different. Ziggler promised they would win the titles later.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Natalya & Tamina defeated The Riott Squad
This was okay, although they didn’t show the pre-match attack. They kept the match short.
The match started during the commercial break. Only the champions got an entrance.
The Riott Squad was firmly in control. They isolated Natalya and cut her off from her corner. Regardless, Tamina wasn’t standing on the apron. Eventually, Michael Cole explained that The Riott Squad jumped Tamina before the match. They showed none of this for some reason.
Riott attempted a pin, but Tamina jumped back in the ring. Tamina tagged in and ran wild on the heels. Tamina went for the superfly splash, but Riott cut her off.
On the floor, Morgan countered Natalya’s discus clothesline. In the ring, Tamina knocked Riott off the top with a headbutt. She then hit the superfly splash for the win.

In the back, SmackDown Tag Team Champions Rey & Dominik Mysterio discussed winning the tag team titles and promised to retain them tonight. Rey told Dominik that he’s proud of him.
They aired a SummerSlam commercial with the date 8.21.21.
Seth Rollins Segment
Rollins came down to the ring in a very flashy green and purple suit. He demanded that Cesaro come to the ring so they can finish their feud. Rollins then started laughing. He noted that Cesaro’s not there tonight because of the beating he gave him last week.
Rollins is happy Cesaro’s not there, so he can’t ruin his birthday. He apologizes to Cesaro for not being able to join the festivities. They recapped Rollins attacking Cesaro last week and injuring him.
They piped in loud “you suck” chants. Rollins noted his people got exclusive audio from Cesaro’s hospital room. He played the audio and then laughed for what felt like several minutes.
He claimed that he blacked out last week. Rollins only remembers looking over Cesaro on the stretcher. He had a serious tone and said the fans deserve some of the blame.
Rollins blamed the fans for supporting Cesaro. He then sang happy birthday to himself. This was a typical Rollins promo that dragged at times.
Non-title: Kevin Owens defeated Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews (w/Commander Azeez) via DQ
This wasn’t much of a match. They barely had any time and a bad finish. Owens and Crews worked at an insanely fast pace for their short match.
Michael Cole noted that Owens could earn a title shot if he wins.
Owens jumped Crews at the bell. He hit a cannonball in the corner. Owens then followed up with the Swanton bomb for a near fall.
Crews jumped off the top, but Owens avoided and hit a superkick. Crews avoided the pop-up powerbomb, but Owens hit the stunner. Azeez jumped in and hit the Nigerian Nail on Owens for the disqualification. They announced Owens as the winner but pointed out that Crews is still the champion.
Officials and referees checked on Owens after the match.
Roman Reigns spoke to Jey Uso in the back. Reigns asked Jey if he really wants a shot at the tag team titles next week. He tried to convince Jey to stick with him.
Reigns called him Main Event Jey. He then pointed out that with Jimmy, he’s back to the opening match. Reigns noted a lot changed for Jey while Jimmy was injured.
Reigns told Jey that people are going to go back to asking him which cousin is he. This was a nice callback to Reigns and Jey’s feud last fall. Jey admitted that he never thought about it that way. Reigns said maybe he should because Jimmy isn’t thinking that way.

Back from the commercial break, Rey was down on the ground and severely injured. He couldn’t even get up to his feet.
In the ring, Dolph Ziggler said they didn’t attack Rey because they want to challenge the champions.
Robert Roode pointed out that if the champions can’t compete, Rey & Dominik forfeit the titles. Roode noted Dominik wouldn’t fight them by himself.
In the back, Dominik said Rey fought for him a week ago, so he’s going to fight alone. Dominik then walked to the ring to compete in the match without a partner.
SmackDown Tag Team Champions Dominik Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode to retain the titles
They had a fun match and told a good story, although it had a distraction finish. They started at a slow pace, but it picked up towards the end.
On commentary, Micahel Cole and Pat McAfee wondered if Ziggler and Roode jumped Rey. They both admitted it could have been someone else.
Dominik attacked the heels at the bell. Ziggler quickly recovered and hit a superkick to take over. The heels slowed the pace down and beat down Dominik.

WWE has announced that The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) will face The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) on SmackDown next Friday. It will be the first time The Usos have teamed together since March 2020. Jimmy suffered a torn ACL during the tapings for WrestleMania 36 last year.
Jimmy made his return to WWE television on SmackDown two weeks ago. He returned to the ring by losing to Cesaro by disqualification last Friday.
In storyline, Jimmy has been at odds with Roman Reigns since telling Reigns two weeks ago that Reigns wasn’t going to disrespect him the way that he disrespects Jey Uso. Jimmy has been trying to get Jey to focus on teaming together again instead of backing up Reigns.
Jimmy went to WWE authority figure Sonya Deville on SmackDown tonight and had next week’s tag team match made without telling Jey about it beforehand. When Deville asked if Jimmy had checked with Jey about it, Jimmy said he wouldn’t be in her office if he didn’t know that Jey had his back.
Jey wasn’t happy that Jimmy had the tag match made without telling him first. Jimmy said he was looking out for Jey. Jimmy told Jey that it isn’t about Reigns — it’s about them. Jey said he owed it to Reigns to tell him about the match.
When Jey was speaking with Reigns about the tag match, Reigns took exception to Jey referring to The Usos as “we.” Reigns said “we” is Reigns and Jey. Reigns told Jey not to forget that everything they do represents their family and each other.
This will be the first time The Usos and The Street Profits have ever faced each other.
