Snickers & WWE 2K returning as WrestleMania 40 sponsors

For the third straight year, Snickers and WWE 2K will be the sponsors of WrestleMania.

WWE, Mars, and Take-Two Interactive issued a press release on Thursday announcing that Snickers and WWE 2K will be the presenting sponsors of WrestleMania 40. They were also the sponsors of WrestleMania 38 in 2022 and WrestleMania 39 in 2023.

This is the ninth consecutive year that Snickers has been a WrestleMania sponsor.

The press release said:

Both brands will be showcased during WWE’s flagship TV programs Monday Night Raw on USA Network and Friday Night SmackDown on FOX leading up to WrestleMania, as well as during the WrestleMania Kickoff Show and WrestleMania each day on Peacock. The partnership also includes custom digital and social content on WWE.com and WWE’s YouTube channel, which is the No. 1 most-viewed sports channel in the world.

The official release date for WWE 2K24 is Friday, March 8. Early access starts on Tuesday, March 5 for the Deluxe and Forty Years of WrestleMania editions of the game.

WrestleMania 40 is taking place from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7. The following matches have already been made official:

  • WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY defends against Bayley
  • Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley defends against Becky Lynch

Mars & 2K returning as co-presenting sponsors for WWE WrestleMania 39

WrestleMania will once again be sponsored by Snickers and Take-Two Interactive (2K). 

A joint statement released on Wednesday announced that for the second year in a row, Snickers and 2K will be the co-presenting sponsors for WWE’s biggest event of the year. 

“The SNICKERS brand is thrilled to be back as one of the presenting sponsors of WrestleMania 39,” said Ray Amati, Director of Media, Mars Wrigley. “Over the years we have seen the passion of WWE fans and know they are always hungry for high quality entertainment, which we look forward to delivering alongside our partners. SNICKERS will continue to be a solution for fans when they feel out of sorts before, during or after WrestleMania.”

“We’re excited to come back even stronger and co-present WrestleMania 39 with SNICKERS as we tag team for WWE’s biggest event of the year,” said Alfie Brody, Vice President of Global Marketing Strategy at 2K. “Like our WWE 2K23 cover Superstar, John Cena, we’ll ‘Never Give Up’ as we take on SNICKERS head-to-head and provide fans with engaging content leading up to the main event matches.”

“Last year we brought together two of our most-tenured brand partners for WrestleMania and it’s exciting to continue the partnership as WrestleMania goes Hollywood in April,” said Craig Stimmel, WWE Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Partnerships.

Both brands will be featured on WWE programming in the lead-up to WrestleMania 39. Snickers and 2K will also be promoting the event through a “multi-platform campaign.”

2K will release WWE 2K23 on March 17, 2023, a little over two weeks ahead of WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles. The game will be available on March 14, 2023, for those who pre-order it. 

WrestleMania 39 will take place on Saturday, April 1, 2023, and Sunday, April 2, 2023, from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Confirmed matches for the show include Rhea Ripley challenging Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, Asuka challenging Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship, and Cody Rhodes challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. 

WWE announces two presenting sponsors for WrestleMania 38

Two presenting sponsors have been announced for this year’s WrestleMania.

WWE issued a press release on Wednesday announcing that Snickers and WWE 2K22 will both be presenting partners of WrestleMania 38. The two-night event is taking place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3.

WWE touted that this is the first time two brands have served as the presenting partners for WrestleMania. This will be the seventh consecutive year that Snickers has been a featured sponsor of the event.

WWE 2K22 will officially be released on March 11.

Snickers and WWE 2K22 will be the sponsors of the main event of each night of WrestleMania 38. Both brands will be showcased on Raw and SmackDown leading into WrestleMania, along with being showcased on both nights of WrestleMania and their pre-shows. They will also be featured in custom digital and social content on WWE.com and WWE’s YouTube channel.

Snickers to sponsor WWE WrestleMania 37 & WM main event

For the sixth straight year, Snickers will be the presenting sponsor of WrestleMania.

WWE and Wrigley announced today that they’ve renewed their long-standing partnership to make Snickers the presenting sponsor of WrestleMania 37. The event is taking place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida over two nights on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11.

The press release announcing the renewal of the partnership notes that, in a new aspect of the sponsorship, Snickers will be the presenting partner “of the WrestleMania Main Event Match, marking the first time the marquee match has ever been sponsored.” The announcement didn’t clarify whether that is for both nights of WrestleMania 37 or only one.

The agreement also includes “multiple pieces of custom video content featuring Superstars showcasing how ‘out-of-sortsness’ can be resolved with a satisfying Snickers. The spots will air in WWE’s flagship TV programs Monday Night Raw on USA Network and Friday Night SmackDown on FOX, as well as during WrestleMania on Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming service.”

The partnership also includes custom digital and social content on WWE.com and WWE’s YouTube channel, which is the No. 1 most-viewed sports channel and No. 5 most-viewed channel in the world. Additionally, for the fourth consecutive year, Snickers has released limited-edition Hunger Bars featuring familiar taglines of WWE Superstars Roman Reigns, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss and The Miz. The bars will be on-shelf at Dollar General stores beginning in mid-March and available while supplies last. 

WWE is coordinating with local partners and government officials regarding COVID-19 precautions and will announce ticket availability and safety protocols for WrestleMania 37 in the coming weeks. Information on additional WrestleMania Week events is forthcoming.

Snickers returning as presenting sponsor for WWE WrestleMania 36

Snickers is again partnering with WWE for this year’s WrestleMania.

WWE and Mars, Incorporated have announced “an expansion of their long-standing partnership for 2020 in which Snickers will once again serve as the exclusive presenting partner of WrestleMania.” This is the fifth straight year that Snickers has been the presenting sponsor for the event.

The partnership will include WWE wrestlers taking part in Snickers’ new “Fix the World” ad campaign. There will be three custom commercials produced. The first will air on the March 23 episode of Raw, the second will air on the March 27 episode of SmackDown, and the third will air during WrestleMania 36.

WrestleMania is taking place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on April 5.

Snickers will also be a promotional partner for Extreme Rules in July, while Skittles will be the presenting partner for October’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.

The expanded partnership will include three pieces of custom creative, featuring WWE Superstars promoting the new Snickers ‘Fix the World’ campaign. In the videos, the Superstars find their unique daily annoyances are solved after Snickers has fixed the world. The spots will air in WWE’s flagship TV programs beginning March 23 during Monday Night Raw on USA Network and March 27 during Friday Night SmackDown on FOX. The third spot will air during WrestleMania on WWE Network.

WWE’s expanded partnership with Mars will also highlight Skittles as the presenting partner of WWE’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event in October 2020. Skittles will be prominently featured as part of cross-platform media assets promoting WWE Hell in a Cell and will collaborate with WWE on production of a co-branded custom integration that will air in the telecast. Additional partnership activations will be unveiled in the coming months.
