WWE SmackDown video highlights: Corbin humiliates Reigns

The build to TLC picked up on last night’s SmackDown.

Roman Reigns defeated Dolph Ziggler in last night’s main event, but — after Baron Corbin vowed to humiliate him on the show — the night ended with an angle where Corbin, Ziggler, and Corbin’s royal security attacked Reigns, chained him to the ring post, and poured dog food on him.

Reigns will face Corbin in a tables, ladders, and chairs match at TLC on December 15.

Two other matches were confirmed for TLC last night. Bray Wyatt will face The Miz, and The New Day will defend their SmackDown Tag Team titles against The Revival.

A big brawl closed last night’s Hell in a Cell go-home show.

After Kevin Owens tried to back out of their face-to-face confrontation, Shane McMahon went to look for Owens in the arena’s concourse. Owens powerbombed Shane through a merchandise table, but Shane reappeared to continue the brawl as Owens was doing a promo in the ring. Owens ended up hitting a pop-up powerbomb to stand tall heading into Sunday.

Also on SmackDown, Jinder Mahal ambushed Shinsuke Nakamura during the show’s opening segment, Tye Dillinger got an upset win over Baron Corbin, and Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch lost a tag match to Natalya & Carmella.

Following Carmella getting a James Ellsworth-assisted win in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match on Sunday, Daniel Bryan returned to television on SmackDown last night to address the controversy that surrounded the finish.

The storyline led to Bryan announcing a rematch, with the same five participants vying for the briefcase in a ladder match next week.

Also on SmackDown, Shinsuke Nakamura took on Dolph Ziggler, Chad Gable answered Kevin Owens’ open challenge, and Randy Orton was out for revenge on Jinder Mahal.
