Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage averaged 423,000 viewers on TNT, up 45.4 percent from the previous week. It’s the second-largest audience total for the show since April 14.
In the 18-49 demo, Rampage finished 12th on the cable charts with a 0.13 rating. That’s up 30 percent from last week and is the show’s highest rating in that category since April 14.
Rampage’s ratings were up in the individual demos with the exception of people 18-34 and females 12-34, which were both even with last week. The biggest increase was with men 12-34, which were up 66.7 percent.
The relatively strong ratings came without the major sports competition that Rampage has faced in recent months, although the show did go head-to-head with NBC’s coverage of US Open gold, which averaged 2.4 million viewers and drew a 0.40 rating in the key demo.
As compared to the same week in 2022, Rampage’s overall audience was up 14.6 percent while its 18-49 demo rating was up 8.3 percent. It’s the first time in the show’s history that the year-over-year number has been up on a week when it has aired in its regular time slot both years.

Friday night’s episode of AEW Rampage averaged 291,000 viewers on TNT, down 18.5 percent from the previous week. It’s Rampage’s third-lowest audience of the year to date and the lowest the show has ever done in its normal time slot.
In the 18-49 demo, Rampage finished 27th on the cable charts with a 0.10 rating. That’s down 16.7 percent from the previous week and is the lowest rating Rampage has drawn in its normal time slot this year.
The show faced competition from game four of the NBA Finals. The game averaged 10.4 million viewers on ABC and topped all of television with a 3.23 rating in the 18-49 demo.
Rampage’s ratings were down in most demos, but the show was actually up with younger women. There was a 14.3 percent increase with women 18-49 and a 50 percent rise in females 12-34. The biggest decline was with males 12-34, which were down 62.5 percent.
As compared to the same week in 2022, Rampage was down 38.9 percent in overall viewers and down 37.5 percent in 18-49. The NBA was also airing head-to-head with the show during this week in 2022, so it is a fair year-over-year comparison.

Friday night’s episode of AEW Rampage averaged 436,000 viewers on TNT, up 48.8 percent from the previous week. It was the first time Rampage has aired in its regular time slot since April 7.
This marks the best audience total for Rampage since April 14, when it aired closer to its regular time slot and also had the NBA airing as a lead-in.
In the 18-49 demo, Rampage finished 13th on the cable charts with a 0.11 rating. That’s up 22.2 percent from last week and is the highest rating for the show since April 22, which was a Saturday airing.
Rampage had no major sports competition airing head-to-head on Friday night.
Ratings for the show were up in every single demo. The biggest increase was with males 12-34, which were up 100 percent from last week.
As compared to the same week in 2022, Rampage’s overall audience was up 27.9 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 21.4 percent. Last year’s show aired at 6:30 p.m. Eastern due to the NBA.

Saturday night’s episode of AEW Rampage averaged 284,000 viewers on TNT, the lowest audience in the history of the show. It’s down 3.4 percent from the previous week when Rampage aired on Friday afternoon.
In the 18-49 demo, Rampage finished 46th on the cable charts with a 0.07 rating. That’s down 22.2 percent from last week and ties the lowest rating the show has ever done in that demo.
Although Rampage aired on an unfamiliar night, the sports competition was not as strong as in recent weeks as there was no NBA playoff game. Rampage did go head-to-head with Top Rank Boxing on ESPN, which averaged 714,000 viewers and finished fourth on the cable charts with a 0.24 rating in 18-49.
Rampage’s ratings were down in every category with the exception of people over 50, which were actually up 14.3 percent from last week. The biggest drop was with females 12-34, which were down 75 percent to a 0.01 rating.
As compared to the same week in 2022, Rampage’s overall viewership was down 16.5 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 41.7 percent. That episode from 2022 aired on a Friday at 5:30 p.m. Eastern.

Toni Storm of The Outcasts will face Allysin Kay in a women’s division contest on Saturday’s episode. Kay is an Impact, ROH, and NWA veteran with over a decade of experience in independent promotions as well. She is a Detroit native, the site of this week’s Dynamite and Rampage taping.
Kyle Fletcher of Aussie Open will take on Action Andretti on Saturday’s episode. Fletcher and Mark Davis hold NJPW’s IWGP Tag Team titles, and Fletcher attacked International Champion Orange Cassidy in a backstage segment on this week’s Dynamite to set up a future title bout.
In a trios match, The Acclaimed’s Max Caster & Anthony Bowens will team with “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn against Kip Sabian, The Butcher & The Blade on Saturday’s show.
In tag team action, Mogul Embassy’s Swerve Strickland & Brian Cage will face John Silver & Alex Reynolds of The Dark Order on Rampage.
In addition, a promo segment with Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn has also been announced for Saturday’s episode.

The show had a big increase with young females as women 18-49 were up 40 percent from last week and females 12-34 were up 33.3 percent. That was offset by decreases of 29.4 percent and 33.3 percent with males in those same age groups.
As compared to the same week in 2022, Rampage’s overall audience was actually up 0.7 percent. The show last year aired at 5:30 p.m. Eastern. The 18-49 demo rating was down 18.2 percent, so the audience skewed older than at this time last year.
