Finn Balor vs. Austin Theory, Miz TV announced for WWE Raw

Finn Balor vs. Austin Theory, as well as other matches and segments, have been announced for this Monday’s Raw.

Theory, inspired by Vince McMahon’s order to do something unexpected, has attacked Balor for the last few weeks unprovoked. After last Monday’s attack, Theory took selfies of himself attacking Balor.

The Miz is also set to hold Miz TV, with guests AJ Styles and Omos. The duo will also be in action, as they will face Rey and Dominik Mysterio. Maryse will be the guest on this week’s Cutting Edge following the events of last week, where Maryse walked out on Miz after he used her as a shield during a confrontation between himself and Edge.

Other matches set for Raw include Doudrop facing Bianca Belair. The two have faced off twice, the first time with Doudrop walking away for a count out loss, then last week where Belair pinned Doudrop. Rhea Ripley will face Queen Zelina in another rematch from last week’s Raw. Zelina pinned Ripley in under a minute last week due to distractions from Nikki A.S.H. and Carmella. Damian Priest is also set to face Dolph Ziggler.

Also announced for Raw is Bobby Lashley and MVP. Lashley won a gauntlet match on last week’s show and as a result, has been added to what is now a fatal four-way match for the WWE Championship at Day 1.

Tag Team title rematch set for WWE Raw season premiere episode

The Raw Tag Team titles will be on the line on this Monday’s “season premiere” edition of the show.

WWE has announced that Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Riddle) will defend their titles against AJ Styles & Omos on Monday’s Raw. Orton & Riddle won the titles from Styles & Omos at SummerSlam this August and retained against them in a rematch at Crown Jewel on Thursday.

Riddle pinned Styles to win the Raw Tag Team title match at Crown Jewel. As Styles was going for the Phenomenal Forearm, Orton hit him with an RKO. Orton then tagged in Riddle so that Riddle could hit the Floating Bro on Styles to get the win.

On Raw this past Monday, RK-Bro’s non-title match against The Street Profits ended in a disqualification when Styles & Omos interfered and laid out both teams.

Monday’s Raw is taking place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. It will be the first Raw episode where the show’s post-draft rosters are in effect. RK-Bro and Styles & Omos both stayed on Raw in the WWE Draft.

Raw Tag Team title match announced for WWE Crown Jewel

The Raw Tag Team titles will be on the line at Crown Jewel.

It was announced today that RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Riddle) will defend their Raw Tag Team titles against AJ Styles & Omos when WWE returns to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel later this month. The show is taking place at Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh on Thursday, October 21. It will air live on Peacock/WWE Network starting at noon Eastern time.

At SummerSlam this August, RK-Bro defeated Styles & Omos to win the Raw Tag Team titles. Orton & Riddle have made one title defense since then, retaining against Bobby Lashley & MVP.

Styles defeated Riddle in a singles match on Raw last week.

Orton & Riddle remained on Raw when they were selected in night one of the WWE Draft. Styles & Omos will be eligible to be selected when the draft concludes on Raw tonight.

Here’s the updated card for Crown Jewel:

  • Universal Champion Roman Reigns defends against Brock Lesnar
  • SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch defends against Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks in a triple threat match
  • Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Riddle) defend against AJ Styles & Omos

RK-Bro to challenge for Raw Tag Team titles at WWE SummerSlam

The reunited RK-Bro are getting a Raw Tag Team title shot at SummerSlam.

WWE has announced that Randy Orton & Riddle will challenge for AJ Styles & Omos’ Raw Tag Team titles at SummerSlam this Saturday. The pay-per-view is taking place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Riddle challenged Styles & Omos to the title match after RK-Bro got back together on tonight’s Raw. RK-Bro reunited after Riddle made the save for Orton as he was being beaten down by Styles and Omos. Orton’s match against Omos tonight ended in a disqualification when the referee caught Styles attacking Orton at ringside.

Styles defeated Riddle earlier on tonight’s show. At the beginning of the match, Orton walked out on Riddle and refused to be in his corner. Styles got the win after Riddle was distracted by Omos.

After Riddle saved him from Styles and Omos, Orton told Riddle that he’s earned his respect. Orton said that even though he turned his back on Riddle, gave him an RKO last week, and walked out on him tonight — Riddle still came to his aid. Orton then gave Riddle a hug.

Styles & Omos have been Raw Tag Team Champions since winning the titles from The New Day’s Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods at WrestleMania 37 this April.

Here’s the updated card for SummerSlam:

  • Universal Champion Roman Reigns defends against John Cena
  • WWE Champion Bobby Lashley defends against Goldberg
  • SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair defends against Sasha Banks
  • Raw Women’s Champion Nikki A.S.H. defends against Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match
  • Edge vs. Seth Rollins
  • SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos defend against Rey & Dominik Mysterio
  • United States Champion Sheamus defends against Damian Priest
  • Drew McIntyre vs. Jinder Mahal (Veer and Shanky are barred from ringside)
  • Raw Tag Team Champions AJ Styles & Omos defend against Randy Orton & Riddle
  • Alexa Bliss vs. Eva Marie

Two matches, Lashley-Goldberg segment set for WWE Raw

WWE has made a few announcements for Monday’s SummerSlam go-home edition of Raw.

WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and Goldberg will take part in a face-to-face segment on Monday’s Raw. It will be the final build to their title match at SummerSlam.

Drew McIntyre vs. Veer & Shanky in a handicap match has also been announced for Monday’s Raw. If McIntyre wins, Veer and Shanky will be banned from ringside for McIntyre’s match against Jinder Mahal at SummerSlam. But if Veer & Shanky win, McIntyre’s sword Angela will be banned from the SummerSlam match.

Plus, Randy Orton vs. Omos is set for Monday’s Raw. Orton defeated Omos’ tag team partner AJ Styles in the main event of Raw this past Monday.

Orton returned to WWE television on this week’s Raw, appearing for the first time since June 21. Orton said he didn’t want to team with Riddle anymore and told Riddle not to accompany him to ringside for his match against Styles. But Orton got the win after Riddle tried to neutralize Omos at ringside. Riddle then wanted a hug from Orton after the match. Orton gave in and hugged Riddle, but he then dropped Riddle with an RKO.

Orton smiled and chuckled after hitting the RKO on Riddle, and Byron Saxton said on commentary that he thought Orton and Riddle were now back together. Riddle said in a post-show interview that he was confused by Orton’s actions, but he hopes he and Orton can work things out so that their RK-Bro team can be a thing.

Styles & Omos are the current Raw Tag Team Champions.

Monday’s Raw is taking place at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Riddle vs. Omos announced for WWE Raw

Riddle is set to face off against one half of the Raw Tag Team Champions.

WWE has announced that Riddle vs. Omos will take place on Monday’s episode of Raw. The match comes after a distraction by AJ Styles and Omos caused Riddle to lose to John Morrison on Raw earlier this week.

During the Riddle vs. Morrison match, Riddle was distracted when Omos broke his scooter. Morrison then pinned Riddle after hitting Starship Pain. After the match, Styles laid out Riddle with the Styles Clash.

Styles & Omos retained their Raw Tag Team titles against The Viking Raiders earlier on this week’s Raw. Styles & Omos have held the titles since winning them from The New Day’s Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods at WrestleMania 37 this April.

Monday’s Raw is taking place at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. Riddle’s tag team partner Randy Orton is listed for the episode on the Allstate Arena’s website, but whether or not he’ll be making his return at the show hasn’t been confirmed. Orton hasn’t appeared on Raw since June 21.

The Allstate Arena has announced that Goldberg will be appearing at Monday’s Raw. Goldberg is scheduled to challenge for Bobby Lashley’s WWE Championship at SummerSlam, but the match has yet to be officially announced.

Plus, Raw Women’s Champion Nikki A.S.H. will face Charlotte Flair in a non-title no holds barred match on Monday’s Raw.

Raw Tag Team title match moved to WWE Money in the Bank

A title match that was originally announced for next week’s Raw has instead been moved to Money in the Bank.

WWE has announced that AJ Styles & Omos will defend their Raw Tag Team titles against The Viking Raiders (Ivar & Erik) at Money in the Bank. The pay-per-view is taking place at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas this Sunday (July 18).

The Raw Tag Team title match being moved to Money in the Bank comes after the PPV lost one of its other championship matches. Bianca Belair was set to defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Bayley in an I Quit match at Money in the Bank, but that won’t be happening due to Bayley’s knee injury. Belair defending her title against Carmella is set for this Friday’s SmackDown, which will mark the start of WWE’s return to touring.

The Viking Raiders became the number one contenders to Styles & Omos’ titles by winning a battle royal on Raw last month.

Ivar defeated Styles in a singles match on tonight’s Raw, while Omos defeated Erik. This was Omos’ first televised singles match in WWE.

Styles & Omos won the Raw Tag Team titles by defeating The New Day’s Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods at WrestleMania 37 this April.

Here’s the updated card for Money in the Bank:

  • Universal Champion Roman Reigns defends against Edge
  • WWE Champion Bobby Lashley defends against Kofi Kingston
  • Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley defends against Charlotte Flair
  • Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match (Asuka, Naomi, Alexa Bliss, Nikki Cross, Zelina Vega, Liv Morgan, Natalya, and one more wrestler to be announced)
  • Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match (Ricochet, John Morrison, Riddle, Drew McIntyre, Big E, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Shinsuke Nakamura)
  • Raw Tag Team Champions AJ Styles & Omos defend against The Viking Raiders

WWE sets date for Styles & Omos vs. Viking Raiders tag title match

WWE has set a date for AJ Styles & Omos’ Raw Tag Team title defense against The Viking Raiders (Ivar & Erik).

Styles & Omos will put their Raw Tag Team titles on the line against The Viking Raiders on the Monday, July 19 episode of Raw. The episode is the post-Money in the Bank edition of Raw. It’s taking place at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas and will be the first Raw in WWE’s return to touring.

The Viking Raiders became the number one contenders to Styles & Omos’ titles by winning a tag team battle royal on Raw last month.

On tonight’s Raw, a distraction by The Viking Raiders led to Styles losing a match against Riddle.

WWE has also announced that The Viking Raiders will face Styles & Omos in singles matches on next week’s Raw. It will be Ivar vs. Styles and Erik vs. Omos. The latter will be the first televised singles match Omos has ever had.

Styles & Omos defeated The New Day’s Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods at WrestleMania 37 this April to win the Raw Tag Team titles.

WWE will be back on the road starting with the Friday, July 16 episode of SmackDown at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Money in the Bank will be held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas on Sunday, July 18.

The Viking Raiders to get WWE Raw Tag Team title shot

The Viking Raiders are next in line for a shot at AJ Styles & Omos’ Raw Tag Team titles.

The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) won a tag team battle royal on tonight’s episode of Raw to become the number one contenders to Styles & Omos’ titles. WWE hasn’t announced when The Viking Raiders will be getting their title shot.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods), RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Riddle), Mace & T-Bar, Lince Dorado, and John Morrison also took part in tonight’s battle royal. Dorado and Morrison were representing their teams on their own. Morrison’s tag team partner The Miz is out of action due to injury, and it was said tonight that Dorado’s partner Gran Metalik is injured as well.

Both members of The Viking Raiders, Orton, and Kingston were the final four wrestlers in the battle royal. Riddle, who had already been eliminated by Woods, came back into the ring and stepped in the way when Kingston went to hit Trouble in Paradise on Orton. Kingston hit the move on Riddle instead — and Orton capitalized on that by eliminating Kingston. But The Viking Raiders then threw Orton out of the ring to win the battle royal.

Styles & Omos defeated Kingston & Woods at WrestleMania 37 this April to win the Raw Tag Team titles.

The Viking Raiders returned to tag team action on the post-WrestleMania 37 episode of Raw, teaming together for the first time since Ivar had to undergo neck surgery last September.

Tag Team title match added to WWE Raw

Two new matches, including a Tag Team title match, have been added to this week’s WWE Raw.

AJ Styles & Omos will defend their Raw Tag Team titles against Elias & Jaxson Ryker on Raw this Monday night. A singles match between Randy Orton and Xavier Woods has also been added to the show.

Ryker defeated Styles on last week’s episode of Raw after Elias interfered and attacked Styles. Omos emerged after the match and confronted Elias, sending both him and Ryker away.

Orton will face Woods after Riddle managed to defeat Woods on last week’s Raw. Woods has been feuding with RKBro in recent weeks after Orton attacked both Woods and Kofi Kingston unprovoked following an eight-man tag team match where RKBro and The New Day teamed together.

A number one contender’s match with Drew McIntyre facing Kingston has already been announced for this Monday’s Raw. The winner will challenge for Bobby Lashley’s WWE Championship at Hell in a Cell on Sunday, June 20. McIntyre and Kingston’s number one contender’s match has a stipulation where — if Lashley or MVP interfere or even come out to ringside — Lashley will be suspended without pay for 90 days.

Shayna Baszler vs. Reginald is also set for this Monday’s Raw. Plus, The Miz will return to host a Miz TV segment with Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair. It will be Miz’s first appearance since losing to Damian Priest in a zombie lumberjack match at WrestleMania Backlash earlier this month.

AJ Styles & Omos returning to WWE Raw next Monday

Image: WWE

AJ Styles & Omos are set to make their first appearance on Raw since winning the brand’s Tag Team titles.

On this morning’s episode of WWE’s The Bump, Styles stated that he and Omos will be back on Raw next Monday (May 3). It will be Styles & Omos’ first appearance on Raw since they won the Raw Tag Team titles from The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) at WrestleMania 37 night one earlier this month.

The Raw Tag Team title match at WrestleMania 37 was Omos’ televised WWE in-ring debut.

Styles & Omos claimed on The Bump that they had been partying in Omos’ home country of Nigeria after winning the Raw Tag Team titles. Styles said he and Omos will be ready to party in the ring next Monday.

Omos said on The Bump that The New Day are old news and aren’t on his radar. He said Kingston & Woods will have to get to the back of the line and earn a shot at Styles & Omos’ Raw Tag Team titles.

AJ Styles & Omos win Raw Tag Team titles at WWE WrestleMania 37

The WWE in-ring debut of Omos was a successful one as he and AJ Styles defeated The New Day at WWE WrestleMania 37 for the Raw Tag Team titles.

The match was built around Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods cutting off Styles from not tagging in Omos and for the majority of the match, they achieved that goal. Styles eventually tagged in Omos and things changed rather quickly.

To no big surprise, Omos used his size in dominating both Kingston and Woods who were unable to get any offense in with both staring up in fear at him at one point. Styles launched himself off Omos’ shoulders for a Phenomenal Forearm, helping clear the way for Omos to hit a two-handed chokeslam on Kingston. At Styles’ request, Omos put his foot on Kingston for the pin and win, giving the duo the titles.

This is the first Tag Team title reign in WWE for Styles, putting him in the triple crown club (World, Intercontinental, Tag Team). He also has held the U.S. title on three occasions.

Kingston and Woods’ reign didn’t even last a month as they won the titles from The Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin) on the March 15th Raw.

Omos to debut in Raw Tag Team title match at WWE WrestleMania 37

A title change on tonight’s Raw led to a new match being made official for WrestleMania 37.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) won the Raw Tag Team titles by defeating The Hurt Business (Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander) on Raw tonight. After the match, Kingston & Woods were confronted by AJ Styles & Omos. Styles & Omos challenged Kingston & Woods to a Raw Tag Team title match at WrestleMania 37. The match was later made official for WrestleMania.

This will be Omos’ first televised match in WWE. The 7-foot-3 Omos, whose real name is Jordan Omogbehin, signed with WWE in October 2018. He’s originally from Lagos, Nigeria and played college basketball at the University of South Florida and Morgan State University. He made his in-ring debut at an NXT house show in July 2019 and debuted on Raw as Styles’ bodyguard in October of last year.

Prior to losing the titles tonight, Benjamin & Alexander had been Raw Tag Team Champions since defeating Kingston & Woods at December’s TLC pay-per-view.

WrestleMania 37 is taking place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida over two nights on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11. Roman Reigns vs. Edge for the Universal Championship, Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and Bobby Lashley vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship have also been announced for the event.

WrestleMania 37 will air live on Peacock in the United States. It will be live on the WWE Network everywhere else.
