UFC announces full White House ‘Freedom 250’ card

The full card for the much-discussed UFC Freedom 250 card at the White House this June has finally been revealed and will continue to be discussed after the announcement.

Announced during Saturday’s UFC 326 broadcast, the Sunday, June 14, 2026, event will feature two title fights with one of them featuring Alex Pereira gunning for his unprecedented third UFC title in three divisions.

The main event will feature UFC lightweight champion and one of their top stars in Ilia Topuria defending against interim champion Justin Gaethje.

In the co-main event, former middleweight and light heavyweight champion Pereira facing Cyril Gane for the interim heavyweight title and not Jon Jones as many had speculated. On Saturday night, news broke that a fight fell off the show with speculation now shifting to that which is unconfirmed as of this writing.

Former UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley will take on Aiemann Zahabi while former Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler will fight Mauricio Ruffy.

The six-fight show is rounded out by Bo Nickal vs. Kyle Daukaus, and Diego Lopes vs. Steve Garcia.

The show will feature no female fights, no Jones, and no Gable Steveson as some has speculated as the impetus to sign him to a UFC deal. The initial response on social media was less than enthusiastic.

NBA stars, Michael Chandler, & others attend WWE Elimination Chamber

Multiple celebrities were in attendance at WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 in Chicago, IL.

While the PLE featured several star-studded matches, it also hosted the attendance of NBA stars Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo, both of whom play for the Milwaukee Bucks. UFC Fighter Michael Chandler was also present at the show, as well as 28-year-old Grammy-nominated rapper Lil Yachty.

On Saturday, February 28, Rhea Ripley and Randy Orton won their respective Elimination Chamber matches, while AJ Lee won her first WWE singles title in several years. Another highlight of the show was hometown star CM Punk successfully retaining his World Heavyweight title against Finn Balor.

Last year’s Elimination Chamber PLE featured The Rock and Travis Scott, who helped John Cena turn heel on Cody Rhodes in his final year as a pro-wrestler. While this year missed such celebrity involvements, the above-named stars were present there strictly as the audience.

UFC star Michael Chandler on potential WWE crossover: ‘It intrigues me’

UFC star Michael Chandler remains intrigued by the idea of crossing over into WWE.

The 39-year-old Chandler has already made one WWE appearance, cutting a promo on a February 2024 episode of Raw. He’s spoken with Paul “Triple H” Levesque about the possibility of competing for WWE — and Chandler is still interested in making that a reality.

“I mean, I think it intrigues me. I think it intrigues me,” Chandler said on Insight with Chris Van Vliet. “I think it’s a lot of fun. I do think I would enjoy it. I think there would be some intrigue and interest on both sides. And I think, you know, spending some time with Sheamus and a couple of other friends I have.

“Diamond Dallas Page has been a friend of mine for a very, very long time also. And what’s really cool about him, too, which would be kind of similar to my story, where he’s like, you know, cause he always said, ‘My career didn’t take off until I was 40.’ Wasn’t he a manager or something? [He debuted at] 35, right? And then he took off at 40, you know?”

Chandler said he likes that wrestling has a lot of mature competitors who are able to thrive into their 30s and beyond. He doesn’t love being the center of attention in his personal life, but he’s able to turn on that side of his personality when it’s time to compete.

“So I’m just a fan of the sport. Love to go to the live events, obviously,” Chandler said. “Love to watch it on TV.”

Chandler named DDP and Steve Austin as some of his favorite wrestlers growing up. He’s even more into wrestling now than when he was a kid, listing Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, and Bryan Danielson as some of the people he’s liked watching.

At the moment, Chandler is still focused on his MMA career. Becoming a UFC champion is a big goal for him. He also has his eyes on the UFC’s White House show in June 2026, hoping to face Conor McGregor. A WWE transition does look to be a realistic possibility at some point in the future, though, especially given that WWE and UFC are owned by the same parent company.

“Obviously, they know I’m interested,” Chandler said about WWE. “I believe they’re interested. So we’ll see where we’re at.”

UFC’s Michael Chandler says he’s spoken to Triple H about WWE future

UFC lightweight Michael Chandler is eyeing a future in WWE.

Chandler appeared at Fanatics Fest in New York City recently and told The Schmo Show that he spoke with Triple H at the event about a potential move to professional wrestling.

“I was talking to WWE, talking to Triple H about my WWE contract. So we’re trying to make that happen,” Chandler said.

“He knows I’m a fan of WWE and him and the brand. He’s obviously a fan of what I bring to the table from an entertainment standpoint, what I can do on the microphone. So it’s always fun conversations. Who knows if anything is ever going to happen, but he knows I want that door to be open and I think he wants that door to be open too.”

“WWE seems like a really cool transition,” he continued, later naming Rey Mysterio as a possible dream match.

Michael Chandler previously appeared on WWE Raw

The two-time Bellator Champion has appeared on WWE programming before. On the February 19, 2024, episode of Raw, Chandler cut a promo on Conor McGregor and challenged him to a fight.

“You are in the presence of the most entertaining UFC fighter on the planet,” Chandler said. “Now there’s a man in Ireland that’s been making me wait for way too long and there’s one dude on my mind…Conor McGregor, get your candy a** back in the octagon.”

Michael Chandler’s recent UFC performance

Chandler did not end up fighting McGregor, who withdrew from their planned 2024 bout citing injuries. Chandler has lost five of his last six fights dating back to May 2021, with defeats to Paddy Pimblett, Dustin Poirier, Justin Gaethje, and Charles Oliveira (twice). His sole win during that span came at UFC 274, where he scored a second-round TKO over Tony Ferguson on May 7, 2022.

UFC 314 live results: Alexander Volkanovski vs. Diego Lopes featherweight title fight

The Octagon returns to Miami, Florida, for another major pay-per-view event as a new champion will be crowned at UFC 314 inside the Kaseya Center.

The vacant UFC featherweight championship is on the line in the main event as former longtime UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski looks to recapture the gold when he takes on streaking Diego Lopes, winner of five straight fights.

The title is being vacated by Ilia Topuria, who is moving to 155 pounds. Volkanovski is fighting for the first time in just over a year after losing the title to Topuria.

In the co-main event, it is a five-round lightweight battle as Michael Chandler looks to end his two-fight losing skid when he takes on British superstar Paddy Pimblett, who is on an eight-fight win streak.

In another major main card bout, former interim UFC featherweight champion Yair Rodriguez welcomes former two-division Bellator champion Patricio “Pitbull” Freire to the UFC. Pitbull is arguably the greatest fighter in Bellator’s history and he makes his long-anticipated UFC debut in his quest to capture UFC gold.

Also on the main card is a featherweight bout pitting Bryce Mitchell against Jean Silva, and Nikita Krylov takes on former title challenger Dominick Reyes in a light heavyweight bout.

UFC 309 live results: Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic

The Octagon is back inside the “World’s Most Famous Arena,” marking the return of arguably the greatest fighter in UFC history with UFC 309 from New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones makes his long-awaited return as he defends against former champion Stipe Miocic in a fight that has been years in the making. Originally scheduled for last year’s event at MSG, it was called off after Jones suffered a torn pectoral muscle and subsequent surgery that has kept him out of action since then.

Jones won the title with a win over Ciryl Gane in March 2023. Miocic, often regarded as the best heavyweight in UFC history, has not fought since losing the title to Francis Ngannou in March 2021. It is possible this will be the last fight for both men while interim champion Tom Aspinall is waiting in the wings for the winner in the event that isn’t the case.

The co-main event will be a five-round rematch of a May 2021 fight as former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira takes on Michael Chandler in a no. 1 contender’s match. Oliveira scored a second-round TKO over Chandler at UFC 262 to win the vacant title.

Also on the main card is a middleweight bout between undefeated prospect Bo Nickal and Paul Craig; a women’s flyweight fight pitting Viviane Araujo against Karine Silva; and a catchweight fight between highly-touted prospect Mauricio Ruffy and James Llontop.

Among the fighters competing on the preliminary card are former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman as well as Jim Miller who is the all-time leader in UFC wins and fights.

Conor McGregor’s return postponed due to injury, new main event set for UFC 303

Conor McGregor will not be fighting at UFC 303 after all.

UFC head Dana White revealed the news on X Thursday night that McGregor was injured and immediately moved on to promoting the new main event: reigning UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira defending against former champion Jiri Prochazka with a co-main event of Brian Ortega vs. Diego Lopes.

The show is set for Saturday, June 29th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas as part of International fight Week. Due to the high ticket prices for McGregor’s return, the show already had a company record-breaking $20 million gate in mid-May. Because of the change, they will have to offer fans the ability to get a refund if they so choose due to a policy in Nevada.

Ariel Helwani went deeper into the reasons for McGregor’s fight vs. Michael Chandler to be postponed to later this year with a target of either August or September, reporting that McGregor got hurt a day or so before the UFC’s press conference in Dublin, Ireland, that was canceled. The specific injury has not been reported. He stated that all parties tried to save the fight, but it was pulled internally within the last 48 hours.

All sides were fairly quiet as talk of the fight being off circulated after that press conference cancellation. Helwani said that the new main event was a top choice but had to overcome some hurdles: mainly that the champion is in Australia doing seminars and is recovering from some broken toes.

It was to be McGregor’s first UFC fight since his loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021 while Chandler (the former Bellator lightweight champion) has been on the shelf since November 2022’s UFC 281 when he also lost to Poirier.

Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler official for UFC 303

Conor’s return to the octagon has been officially announced.

Dana White confirmed during the UFC 300 press conference that Conor McGregor will fight Michael Chandler in a welterweight fight at UFC 303 on June 29 during International Fight Week in Las Vegas. This would be McGregor’s first fight in nearly three years, losing to Dustin Poirier back in July of 2021 after suffering a leg injury.

“Officially Official,” Chandler posted on X following the news. “Thank y’all for being on this journey with me. Time to get to work. 77 days! Walk On. See you at the top!”

A match between McGregor and Chandler had been speculated for months. Back in February, Chandler appeared on an episode of WWE Raw and called out McGregor, showcasing synergy between the two TKO brands.

White announced two other matches for UFC 302 on June 1 in Newark, New Jersey. Islam Makhachev will defend the UFC lightweight title against Dustin Poirier in the main event, while Sean Strickland will face Paulo Costa in the co-main.

Michael Chandler on WWE Raw promo: ‘I was thrown into the fire’

Michael Chandler’s WWE Raw call out was a last-minute decision.

Chandler talked to Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour about his experience on Monday’s show, where he called out Conor McGregor. According to Chandler, the promo was approved only a few minutes before the segment aired live.

“Two minutes before, they said, ‘Hey, they’re going to put the camera on you.’ I said, ‘Why don’t you give me that microphone?’” he recalled. “And they said, ‘Hold on, let me run it up the flagpole real quick.’ And then about a minute later, they said, ‘Hey, you’re going on in a minute and you’re going to get the microphone if you want the microphone,’ and then magic happened…less than five minutes [of notice]. There was nothing prepared. Nothing. I was thrown into the fire. Smacked myself a couple of times and then we went.”

Chandler said he met with Triple H after the segment, saying that WWE “liked what they saw”. He also opened the door to more future crossovers.

“We will see,” he said. “Obviously there’s a crossover there. Ton of respect for the wrestlers, the brass there. They have a ton of respect for the UFC. It was really cool being there, watching other athletes and entertainers and performers, and [them] being huge fans of mixed martial arts, and me of them. So it was really cool. There’s a lot of synergy there and the sky’s the limit when it comes to TKO Group and what we can do in the crossover, and yeah, man, it’s probably just the very beginning.”

Dana White recently said he hoped to get Conor McGregor fighting by the end of 2024. He hasn’t fought since a July 2021 loss to Dustin Poirier after breaking his tibia.

UFC’s Michael Chandler calls out Conor McGregor on WWE Raw

Michael Chandler went to the other TKO division to issue a call out.

During Monday’s Raw, announcer Samantha Irvin introduced Chandler as a UFC lightweight star. Chandler then issued a challenge to Conor McGregor.

“You are in the presence of the most entertaining UFC fighter on the planet,” Chandler said. “Now there’s a man in Ireland that’s been making me wait for way too long and there’s one dude on my mind…Conor McGregor, get your candy a** back in the octagon.”

Despite speculation that the two may fight at UFC 300 in June, Dana White recently said that he was “hoping for the fall” for a McGregor return. McGregor hasn’t fought since UFC 264 back in July of 2021, where he lost to Dustin Poirier after breaking his tibia.

WWE held Raw tonight at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California as part of a new five-year live event partnership with OCVIBE that will see both UFC and WWE hold events at the arena through 2028. UFC 298 took place this past Saturday at the same arena, with Ilia Topuria defeating Alexander Volkanovski in the main event to win the UFC featherweight title.

Conor McGregor announces fight vs. Michael Chandler for June

Conor McGregor has announced his return to the octagon.

On Sunday, the 35-year-old posted a video revealing that he’ll fight Michael Chandler in Las Vegas on June 29 as part of International Fight Week. The bout will be contested at 185lbs.

McGregor said:

Ladies and gentlemen, a happy New Year to you all. I would like to announce the return date for myself, ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor. The greatest comeback of all time will take place in Las Vegas for International Fight Week on June 29th.

And the opponent, Michael Chander. And the weight, Mr. Chandler, is 185lbs.

“I always said I wanted you at your biggest, your baddest and your best. 185 would look good on me,” Chandler responded to McGregor shortly after the video was posted.

McGregor hasn’t fought since back-to-back losses to Dustin Poirier in 2021. Chandler also lost to Poirier in his last fight, which took place at UFC 281 on November 12, 2022. Both fighters have lost three of their last four bouts.

Conor McGregor to make UFC return, also coach ‘The Ultimate Fighter’

After several years away from the Octagon, former two-division champion and crossover star Conor McGregor will finally make his return to the UFC later this year.

McGregor and former Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler will both coach the next season of The Ultimate Fighter, announced by UFC head Dana White Saturday morning.

The two will then fight at some point this year, but no details were provided in regard to date, venue or weight class. White said it will be after this season concludes.

The 31st season of the show will debut on Tuesday, May 30th and will run through Tuesday, August 15th on both ESPN and ESPN+.

McGregor hasn’t fought since July 2021 when he lost to Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight and snapped his tibia in doing so. He is on a two-fight losing streak while Chandler has lost three of his last four — the last being to Poirier at last year’s UFC 281.

Since the aforementioned Poirier loss, McGregor has stayed in the news for mostly legal reasons: both running afoul of the law and being sued by former teammate Artem Lobov over the creation of his Proper Twelve whisky brand.

Tony Ferguson was rumored at one point to be the coach opposite McGregor.

UFC 281 live results: Adesanya vs. Pereira, Esparza vs. Weili

Welcome to F4WOnline.com’s live coverage of UFC 281: Adesanya vs. Pereira, emanating from Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.

The Octagon is back in the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden in New York City, with arguably the card of the year taking place, highlighted by two title fights and one of the most exciting match-ups of the year.

UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya looks to remain at the top of the division as he defends against Alex Pereira in the main event. The two have a storied history as they fought twice while both were competing in kickboxing, with Pereira winning both fights and being the only man to ever knock Adesanya out. Adesanya will be making his sixth title defense while Pereira looks to shock the world and extend his six-fight win streak.

In the co-main event, UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Carla Esparza defends the title for the first time since winning it for the second time as former champion Zhang Weili looks to regain the championship gold. Esparza won the title from Rose Namajunas at UFC 274 in May, her sixth straight win. Weili lost the title to Namajunas in April 2021, and got herself another opportunity at gaining it back after scoring a second-round knockout of Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 275 in June.

Also on the main card is arguably the most exciting match-up of 2022 as perennial lightweight contenders Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler go to battle. Also on the main card is Frankie Edgar, who will be fighting for the final time of his Hall Of Fame career, as he takes on Chris Gutierrez, and a lightweight battle between Dan Hooker and Claudio Puelles kicks off the main card. UFC 262 live results: Charles Oliveira vs. Michael Chandler

Welcome to F4WOnline.com’s live coverage of UFC 262: Oliveira vs. Chandler, emanating from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

The Octagon returns to a full arena of fans for the second time since pandemic restrictions started being lifted, as a sold-out crowd in Houston welcomes the UFC back, and they’re going to be treated to seeing a brand-new champion being crowned.

The vacant UFC Lightweight Championship is up for grabs in the main event as Charles Oliveira looks for his ninth straight win when he battles Michael Chandler for the honor to be crowned the new champion. The title was finally vacated in March following the retirement of Khabib Nurmagomedov, and Oliveira and Chandler emerged as the top two choices to battle for it. Oliveira is coming off a dominant decision win over Tony Ferguson in December, while Chandler had an impressive UFC debut, knocking out Dan Hooker in January.

In the co-main event, Tony Ferguson will look to end a two-fight losing streak when he takes on Beneil Dariush, winner of six straight fights. Also on the main card is a bantamweight bout between ranked flyweights Matt Schnell and Rogerio Bontorin, a women’s flyweight fight as Katlyn Chookagian takes on Viviane Araujo, and a potential Fight Of The Year candidate between featherweights Shane Burgos and Edson Barboza opens the main card.

Follow along with our live coverage of the event beginning at 6:30 PM eastern time with preliminary action all the way thru the main card.

We are looking for your thoughts on tonight’s event, so send a thumbs up, a thumbs down or a thumbs in the middle along with a best fight and a worst fight to Dave at [email protected].

Former Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler signs with UFC

After a 10+ year carer that saw him win the Bellator lightweight championship three times and become the face of the company, free agent Michael Chandler signed with the UFC and already has his first job.

On ESPN Thursday, Dana White revealed the news and said that the 34-year-old will serve as the backup for UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and interim lightweight champion Justin Gaethje’s upcoming unification bout in case one of them drops out.

The Nurmagomedov/Gaethje fight is set for Saturday, October 24th at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. There has been rumors that Chandler was being targeted as the replacement for Dustin Poirier against Tony Ferguson after Poirier dropped out to failed contract negotiations.

Chandler (21-5) finished out his latest Bellator contract by knocking out former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson and has won five out of his last six dating back to 2018. He was best known for his two fights with former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez and for being one of the company’s few homegrown stars having fought there since 2010, a span of 23 fights.

He lost the lightweight title to Patricio “Pitbull” Freire in May 2019 by first round TKO.
