Impact Wrestling taping Glasgow UK Invasion event for TV

Impact Wrestling’s upcoming show in Scotland will be taped to air on television.

Impact is heading to Glasgow this Thursday (October 26) for a stop on the promotion’s UK Invasion tour. It was announced today that the Glasgow event is being taped for TV. It will air on the Thursday, November 9 episode of Impact.

“Breaking News: The live IMPACT Wrestling show on Thursday, October 26, at the O2 Academy in Glasgow, Scotland will be a special taping for the company’s flagship weekly TV Show, Impact!, that will air on Thursday, November 9, starting at 8 p.m. EST on AXS TV,” Impact Wrestling wrote.

“The Glasgow stop on the UK Invasion Tour features the Motor City Machine Guns battling the team of [Josh] Alexander and Eric Young, plus Grado vs. Trey Miguel, Rhino vs. Eddie Edwards, Jordynne Grace vs. Gisele Shaw, and more.”

The four-show UK Invasion tour runs from October 26 through October 29. The October 27 show in Newcastle is an Impact Plus special named Turning Point. Turning Point won’t air on Impact Plus until Friday, November 3.

This is the first time Impact Wrestling has been to the United Kingdom since 2018.

Impact Wrestling adds new date to UK Invasion tour

Impact Wrestling has added a new date to its upcoming tour of the United Kingdom.

It was announced today that, due to an “overwhelming demand” for tickets, Impact has added another show in Coventry, England to its UK Invasion tour. Impact will now be in Coventry on back-to-back days on October 28 and October 29.

The four-show tour also includes stops in Glasgow, Scotland and Newcastle, England. Here’s the full list of dates:

  • Thursday, October 26: O2 Academy in Glasgow, Scotland
  • Friday, October 27: Walker Activity Dome in Newcastle, England
  • Saturday, October 28: HMV Empire in Coventry, England
  • Sunday, October 29: HMV Empire in Coventry, England

Tickets for the new Coventry date will go on sale at 9 a.m. UK time on Wednesday, August 16. The other shows are already on sale.

Alex Shelley, Moose, Eddie Edwards, Deonna Purrazzo, Frankie Kazarian, Brian Myers, and Joe Hendry are advertised for the tour, along with the return of Grado and special appearances by Gail Kim.

This is the first time Impact has been to the UK since 2018.
