Impact Saturday TV taping spoilers: The road to Over Drive continues

The following are spoilers from Impact Wrestling’s Saturday TV taping at Sam’s Town in Las Vegas, Nevada, for Thursday, November 10th and Thursday, November 17th.

  • Mickie James defeated Chelsea Green
  • Bully Ray defeated Zicky Dice. After the match, Moose attacked Bully Ray and speared him through a table, setting up a tables match challenge for Over Drive.
  • Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace defeated Giselle Shaw to retain
  • Taya Valkyrie defeated Tasha Steelz. Savannah Evans attacked Rosemary and Valkyrie after the match, leading to Jessicka making the save.

Impact Friday TV taping spoilers: X-Division title tournament kicks off

The following are spoilers from Impact’s Friday TV taping at Sam’s Town in Las Vegas, Nevada, with another taping set for Saturday in the same city and venue.

Impact TV taping spoilers: Title changes, Over Drive main event set

Following Friday’s Bound for Glory in Albany, New York, Impact Wrestling held a TV taping Saturday night in the same building which was delayed for nearly an hour due to the lack of an ambulance on site.

While they were waiting for it to arrive, backstage host Gia Miller, creative team member Tommy Dreamer, former Impact World Champion Rich Swann, Johnny Swinger and Laredo Kid did trivia with the fans, also taking pictures and signing autographs.

Impact for Thursday, October 13th — 

  • Impact World Champion Josh Alexander started with a promo and called out Bully Ray who won Friday’s Call Your Shot gauntlet. After they shared some words, Steve Maclin came out and ran down Bully Ray, Moose then came out and did more of the same and Bobby Fish eventually came out and challenged Alexander for the title which was accepted.
  • Killer Kelly defeated Tasha Steelz (w/Savannah Evans) in a no DQ match
  • Trey Miguel won a seven-man X-Division scramble match over Black Taurus, Alex Zayne, Laredo Kid, Kenny King, Crazzy Steve and Yuya Uemura
  • Gisele Shaw & VXT (Chelsea Green & Deonna Purrazzo) defeated The Death Dollz (Rosemary, Jessicka & Taya Valkyrie)
  • Matt Cardona defeated Bhupinder Gujjar and realigned with Digital Media Champion Brian Myers
  • Impact World Champion Josh Alexander defeated Bobby Fish to retain. After the match, X-Division Champion Frankie Kazarian emerged and teased handing in his title for a shot at Alexander.

Impact for Thursday, October 20th —

  • Bully Ray & Tommy Dreamer defeated Bullet Club’s Juice Robinson & Chris Bey. It was originally scheduled to be Austin & Bey, but Robinson got the nod instead. After the match, Bully Ray and Bey had a long talk at ringside.
  • Taylor Wilde defeated Mia Yim. Mickie James came out and intimated she wanted to face Wilde next as part of her Last Rodeo win or retire tour, but VXT & Gisele Shaw came out to attack. Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace then came out to even the odds and run the heels off.
  • Joe Hendry defeated Jason Hotch
  • In an in-ring promo, Frankie Kazarian then handed over the X-Division title to Scott D’Amore and utilized Option C to cash in for a title match against Alexander at for November’s Over Drive. There will now be an eight-person tournament for the title with the finals taking place there as well. Maclin attacked Kazarian from behind until Alexander came out for the save.
  • Rich Swann defeated Eric Young. Sami Callihan saved Swann from a post-match attack by Young and Deaner.
  • Heath & Rhino defeated The Kingdom to win the Impact Tag Team titles. After the match, Eddie Edwards questioned all of Honor No More and PCO finally broke off, taking out everyone. Taven, Bennett, Vincent and Maria Kanellis-Bennett acknowledged the crowd after the segment, a possible indication they are done.
  • The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Raj Singh & Shera
  • Dirty Dango defeated Johnny Swinger
  • Sami Callihan defeated Steve Maclin. Originally slated to be Moose vs. Callihan in a street fight, Moose was taken out on his way to the ring.

Impact TV taping spoilers: Victory Road fallout, Allie Katch debuts

The following are spoilers from Impact Wrestling’s TV Tapings from Nashville’s Skyway Studios on Saturday featuring the fallout from Friday’s Victory Road. 

Allie Katch made her promotional debut on the show. She was defeated by Masha Slamovich in a Monster’s Ball match. Slamovich will challenge Jordynne Grace for the Knockouts title at Bound for Glory on October 7.

Impact TV taping spoilers: Bound for Glory gets its main event

The following are spoilers from Saturday’s Impact TV tapings in Chicago, Illinois, featuring the fallout from Friday’s Emergence special.

The big news is that the main event of October’s Bound for Glory will be Impact World Champion Josh Alexander defending against Eddie Edwards. 

Edwards earned the spot by winning a six-way elimination match that also included Bandido, Sami Callihan, and other former Impact World Champions.

Following Sunday’s well-received Impact Slammiversary in Nashville, Tennessee, the company taped two weeks of TV in the same venue that began to set July 1st’s Against All Odds in motion.

  • Digital Media Champion Rich Swann defeated Raj Singh (w/ Shera) in a non-title match. Brian Myers attacked Swann after the match and wants a rematch from their Slammiversary match at AAO.

Thursday, June 23rd Impact:

  • Honor No More did a promo continuing to run down Impact. America’s Most Wanted (James Storm/Chris Harris) came out to defend Impact which brought out their new friends and new babyfaces, The Good Brothers. HNM then attacked the faces until The Briscoes made the save.
  • Mia Yim defeated Chelsea Green (w/ Deonna Purrazzo). Mickie James helped even the odds during the match and took out Purrazzo.
  • Bhupinder Gujjar & Shark Boy defeated Johnny Swinger & Zicky Dice. Violent By Design’s Doering & Deaner laid everyone out afterward. Deaner then called out World Champion Josh Alexander and set up both their match and the revelation that Alexander will defend the title against Doering in the AAO main event.
  • World Champion Josh Alexander defeated Cody Deaner in a non-title match
  • Sami Callihan defeated Jack Price and was put through a table by Moose after the match.
  • Honor No More (Eddie Edwards, Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) defeated The Briscoes & James Storm. As HNM all attacked the faces after the match, the Good Brothers came out but were also overwhelmed. HNM Pillmanized Mark Briscoe’s ankle after the match.

Thursday, June 30th Impact

  • Trey Miguel defeated Chris Bey, Laredo Kid & Steve Maclin to become the no. 1 contender for the X-Division title
  • Gisele Shaw defeated Rosemary (w/Taya Valkyrie). The Influence were out to help Shaw, leading to the loss. After the heels beat up Rosemary and Valkyrie, she then either aligned or joined The Influence after the match.
  • Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace defeated Savannah Evans (w/ Tasha Steelz) in a non-title match
  • Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers defeated HNM’s Vincent & PCO. The returning Heath & AMW came out to even the odds after another HNM post-match attack.
  • Ace Austin (w/ Chris Bey) defeated Alex Zayne
  • Chris Sabin (w/ Alex Shelley) defeated Frankie Kazarian

Post-show, Sabin and Kazarian brought out Brian Hebner who is wrapping up with Impact. Earl Hebner and the entire locker room also came out. Kazarian put over Impact and meeting his wife (Traci Brooks) there while also lauding Sabin for his in-ring ability. Brian Hebner thanked the company and Scott D’Amore also thanked the fans for coming.

Impact Citrus Brawl Saturday TV taping spoilers: Aces & Eights return

Impact Wrestling is running two nights of TV tapings in Kissimmee, Florida, entitled Citrus Brawl. This will carry them into next month’s Slammiversary pay-per-view from Nashville, Tennessee.

With Friday’s show in the books, here are the spoilers from Saturday’s tapings.

  • Crazzy Steve & Black Taurus defeated Zicky Dice & Johnny Swinger in a match taped for BTI
  • Laredo Kid defeated Blake Christian
  • Rich Swann defeated Matthew Rehwoldt in a special challenge match
  • The Good Brothers came out for a promo and revealed they are getting a shot at The Briscoes for the Tag Team titles at Slammiversary. After running down the Briscoes, the champions came out and a brawl eventually broke out.
  • Rosemary defeated Tenille Dashwood. After the match, Dashwood and Madison Rayne attacked Rosemary which brought out Taya Valkyrie for the save. After running off the champs, the two then had a staredown before Rosemary left.
  • Steve Maclin defeated PCO. PCO was bleeding and according to reports, he may have injured his shoulder running into the steps.
  • Matt Taven, Mike Bennett & Eddie Edwards defeated Frankie Kazarian & The Motor City Machine Guns. After the match, the heels continued to attack which brought out Heath. Kenny King and Vincent then ran out to make the odds uneven again.
  • Violent by Design defeated Impact World Champion Josh Alexander and Tag Team Champions The Briscoes
  • Chris Bey defeated Raj Singh

Impact Wrestling is running two nights of TV tapings in Kissimmee, Florida, entitled Citrus Brawl.

Impact Wrestling taped their next two weeks of TV at the MJN Convention Center in Poughkeepsie, New York on Sunday.

The following are spoilers/results from the first of two nights of TV tapings for Impact Wrestling in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt were on commentary.

Before The Impact:

  • Eddie Edwards defeated Big Kon (formerly Konnor from The Ascension)
  • Laredo Kid defeated Blake Christian

Impact:

  • Jake Something defeated Chris Bey. Post-match, the Guerrillas of Destiny ran out and attacked Something. “Speedball” Mike Bailey and Jay White made the save.
  • The Ring of Honor “Honor No More” faction came out from ringside which brought out Chris Sabin, Rhino, Rich Swann and Josh Alexander. Scott D’Amore came out and got into a confrontation with Maria Kanellis-Bennett. PCO vs. Sabin was then made in addition to a five-on-five match at No Surrender where if the ROH faction wins, they can stay in Impact.
  • Gail Kim and all the Knockouts came out. Kim put over Mickie James and her participation in the WWE Royal Rumble. This eventually broke down in a fight between Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans against Knockouts Champion Mickie James and Chelsea Green.
  • JONAH defeated Johnny Swinger
  • W. Morrissey defeated The Learning Tree in a handicap match
  • PCO defeated Chris Sabin. Eddie Edwards was last out for the post-match brawl between Impact and ROH, but never got physical with any of the ROH crew.
  • Matt Cardona defeated Jordynne Grace for the Digital Media title
  • ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham defeated Steve Maclin by DQ after Maclin refused to let go of a rope break. Ian Riccaboni, Bobby Cruise and Cary Silkin were on commentary.
  • Josh Alexander defeated Vincent. After the match, ROH’s Kenny King did a run in to attack Alexander and is now aligned with the ROH faction.
  • Bhupinder Gujjar defeated John Skyler
  • Masha Slamovich defeated Kaci Lennox
  • Deonna Purrazzo defeated Santana Garrett
  • Knockouts Champion Mickie James and Chelsea Green went to a no contest when Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans interfered
  • Bullet Club (Jay White, Chris Bey, Guerrillas of Destiny) defeated Ace Austin, Madman Fulton, Jake Something and “Speedball” Mike Bailey. After the match, the Good Brothers and Violent by Design laid out the Bullet club. Something subbed in for X-Division Champion Trey Miguel who wasn’t on the show.

Matt Taven and Mike Bennett vs. Rich Swann and Willie Mack was advertised, but didn’t happen Friday.

Saturday’s show will see Bullet Club vs. Violent by Design, Knockouts Tag Team Champions The IInspiration vs. The Influence in a title match, W. Morrissey vs. Brian Myers in a no DQ match, and Knockouts Champion Mickie James and Chelsea Green vs. Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans.

Impact TV taping, Victory Road, Knockouts Knockdown spoilers

The following are spoilers and results from Impact Wrestling’s Friday tapings that included a pair of Victory Road matches and the upcoming Knockouts Knockdown show, courtesy of reader Cameron Zvejnieks.

Tapings continue both Saturday and Sunday in Nashville, Tennessee.

Victory Road results: 

  • Impact World Champion Christian Cage defeated Ace Austin to retain the title. X-Division Champion Josh Alexander had a staredown after the match with Cage.
  • Laredo Kid defeated Trey Miguel, John Skyler, Jake Something and Black Taurus in a five-way scramble match

Knockouts Knockdown results:

  • Gail Kim had everybody in the ring for a ten-bell salute for Daffney to kick things off. Melissa Santos was the ring announcer.
  • Rachael Ellering defeated Lady Frost
  • Chelsea Green defeated Renee Michelle
  • Mercedes Martinez defeated Rosemary
  • Tasha Steelz defeated Jamie Senegal
  • Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo defeated Masha Slamovich in a great match. Kim came out after and signed Slamovich.
  • Awesome Kong was inducted into the Hall of Fame and dedicated it to Daffney.
  • Savannah Evans won a Monster’s Ball match involving Jordynne Grace, Alisha, and Kimber Lee. Evans pinned Alisha after landing a full nelson slam onto thumbtacks. 

In between changing the bloodstained mat, Scott D’Amore came out and thanked the crowd for coming.

Impact TV results:

  • David Finlay defeated Hikuleo. Chris Bey and Juice Robinson both did run-ins after the match, followed by the returning ran El Phantasmo who helped leave FinJuice laying.
  • X-Division Champion Josh Alexander defeated Ace Austin to earn a World title match at Bound for Glory. After the match, Austin and Madman Fulton attacked Alexander before Cage came out to make the save. He and Alexander argued and Fulton and Austin jumped them. Christopher Daniels made his return to help the faces.
