Lucky Kid replacing Mark Davis on ROH Honor United tour

With Mark Davis out of action, German wrestler Lucky Kid has been added to ROH’s United Kingdom tour.

ROH revealed yesterday that Lucky Kid will be replacing the injured Davis on this month’s Honor United events. Davis announced earlier this week that an MRI has revealed that he suffered a ruptured MCL and torn ACL last month. The injury happened when Davis was warming up before a PWG Battle of Los Angeles show.

Davis wrote that the recovery time is looking quite extensive, but he promised to work as hard as he can to come back as soon as possible.

Davis had been set to team with his Aussie Open tag team partner Kyle Fletcher on the ROH UK tour. Fletcher will now team with Lucky Kid on all three Honor United shows. They’ll face PCO & Brody King in London, England on October 25, The Briscoes in Newport, Wales on October 26, and Marty Scurll & Flip Gordon in Bolton, England on October 27.

Lucky Kid was the winner of this year’s wXw 16 Carat Gold tournament. He also took part in PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles last month.

Flamita replacing Bandido on ROH Honor United UK tour

With Bandido currently out of action due to a knee injury, a tag team partner of his will be replacing him on ROH’s United Kingdom tour.

ROH has announced that Flamita will be in action on all three nights of their Honor United tour. This will be Flamita’s debut for ROH.

The tour will begin in London, England on Friday, October 25. Flamita vs. Colt Cabana is set for that show.

Night two is in Newport, Wales on Saturday, October 26. Flamita & Tracy Williams will face Marty Scurll & Flip Gordon.

Bolton, England is hosting the final night of the tour on Sunday, October 27, with Flamita taking on “Speedball” Mike Bailey. The tour will stream on HonorClub.

The Briscoes retained their ROH Tag Team titles against Bandido & Mark Haskins at last week’s Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view. Bandido then missed ROH’s post-Death Before Dishonor television tapings the next night due to his knee injury.

Dave Meltzer wrote about Bandido’s injury in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter: “Bandido suffered a knee injury in Mexico prior to BOLA. He worked BOLA and the PPV, and it got worse. He basically pushed as far as he could go. The last we heard was they were hoping for six to eight weeks before he could return.”

Mike Bailey, Aussie Open set for ROH Honor United tour matches

ROH has announced appearances by “Speedball” Mike Bailey and Aussie Open for next month’s United Kingdom tour.

Bailey will make his ROH debut in a match against Bandido at ROH’s Honor United show in Bolton, England on Sunday, October 27. That event will also feature Jeff Cobb challenging either Matt Taven or Rush for the ROH World Championship. Taven is defending his World title against Rush at Death Before Dishonor on September 27.

Bailey, who is from Canada, hasn’t wrestled in the United States since 2016 due to visa trouble.

Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) will face Villain Enterprises (PCO & Brody King) at ROH’s Honor United show in London, England on Friday, October 25. Fletcher & Davis won Revolution Pro Wrestling’s Road to Royal Quest tournament last month, which led to them unsuccessfully challenging for the IWGP Tag Team titles at NJPW Royal Quest in London.

ROH’s Honor United tour will be streamed on HonorClub. It also has a stop in Newport, Wales on Saturday, October 26. LifeBlood (Bandido & Tracy Williams) vs. Villain Enterprises (Marty Scurll & Flip Gordon) has been announced for that show.

ROH announces Honor United UK shows for October

Ring of Honor has announced the dates for their next three shows in the United Kingdom.

This year’s Honor United tour will take place across three days in October. The tour will begin at York Hall in London, England on Friday, October 25. It will continue at The Newport Centre in Newport, Wales on Saturday, October 26 and will conclude at Bolton Whites Hotel in Bolton, England on Sunday, October 27.

Tickets for the shows will go on sale to HonorClub members at 10 a.m. local time on Wednesday (July 24). They’ll then go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. local time next Friday (July 26).

Last year’s Honor United tour was held in May. ROH then returned to the UK in August for three Honor Re-United shows, which featured Mark Haskins defeating Hangman Page in the finals of the United States vs. United Kingdom International Cup tournament. Haskins unsuccessfully challenged for the ROH World Championship on the final night of the tour.

Nick Aldis set for ROH Honor United: Edinburgh

Ahead of a possible title defense against Cody Rhodes at All In, Nick Aldis will be facing The Young Bucks on ROH’s Honor United tour.

ROH has announced that Aldis, the current NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, will be in action at Honor United: Edinburgh on May 24th. The storyline for the match is related to Aldis appearing at All In, with him making it one of the stipulations of him agreeing to defend the title against Cody. Aldis will be teaming with a “partner of ROH’s choosing.”

Billy Corgan represented the NWA at Sunday’s All In press conference, where it was announced that Cody would be challenging whoever is NWA Champion on September 1st.

This will be Aldis’ in-ring debut for ROH, though he was shown in the crowd during Dalton Castle vs. Marty Scurll at Supercard of Honor XII last month.

The show in Edinburgh, Scotland is the first stop on the Honor United tour. It will continue in London, England on May 26th and Doncaster, England on the 27th. An ROH World Championship match is set for London, with Castle defending his title against EVIL.
