TNA Wrestling announces signing of tag team ahead of title match

TNA Wrestling has locked up a tag team that will challenge for the World Tag Team titles at Genesis.

The Righteous, Vincent and Dutch, told Denise Salcedo on Saturday that they have signed with TNA. They are scheduled to challenge Matt and Jeff Hardy on tonight’s pay-per-view.

“The Righteous are here in TNA and we’re excited to see what happens for us in TNA. Everything that we’re doing right now with the Hardys is really exciting and it’s going to play out even bigger,” Vincent said.

“Here to stay,” Dutch added.

TNA later wrote in a press release:

“The Righteous made their jaw-dropping arrival in TNA Wrestling in December at TNA Final Resolution, as they confronted Jeff & Matt Hardy, leading to a series of cryptic mind games with the TNA World Tag Team Champions.”

Vincent and Dutch had been wrestling under the AEW/ROH banner since 2023. In May 2025, the team’s profiles were removed from the AEW roster page. They first appeared on TNA programming last month, confronting the Hardys and beginning an angle set to continue tonight at Genesis.

Report: The Righteous finishing independent dates amid WWE interest

The Righteous could be heading to WWE.

Fightful Select is reporting that Vinny and Dutch have informed some promoters that they are finishing their independent dates in the coming months. The report says according to WWE, the company has interest in them and are likely to be signed.

It was reported back in 2022 that the duo were taking part in a tryout for WWE with other independent wrestlers. However, they were never signed, and instead signed with AEW in 2023. They became associated with Jake Roberts and mostly wrestled on Collision and Ring of Honor events. Their profiles were removed from AEW’s website in May, with reports confirming that they had left the company. Their last notable match was at last year’s Final Battle, where they lost to Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara in a double bullrope match.

The Righteous were formed in Ring of Honor prior to Tony Khan purchasing the promotion. During their time in the company, they held the ROH Six-Man Tag Team titles along with Bateman. They also had a brief run in Impact Wrestling.

Dutch and Vincent are no longer with AEW.

PWInsider initally reported that they are no longer with the company, with Bryan Alvarez confirming. The AEW roster page also indicates that both Dutch and Vincent’s profiles have been removed. Their last match was on the April 12 ROH tapings, when they teamed with The Premiere Athletes to defeat Spanish Announce Project and The Kingdom in an eight-man tag team match.

The two had been mainstays at Ring of Honor prior to Tony Khan buying the promotion in 2022. The following year, they made their return to the company. They aligned with Jake Roberts initially but mainly stayed on Collision and ROH events. Their last notable match was at Final Battle last December where they lost to Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara in a double bullrope match.

AEW has had a few high-profile releases in 2025, most notably Rey Fenix, Ricky Starks, and Miro. All three ended up signing with WWE, with Starks becoming North American champion in NXT and Fenix having a high-profile match with El Grande Americano at WrestleMania. Miro returned to WWE on the Raw following WrestleMania using his WWE name, Rusev.

Report: Vincent, Dutch attending WWE tryout

Vincent and Dutch, formerly of Ring of Honor, are reportedly taking part in this week’s WWE tryouts.

PWInsider reported Tuesday night that the two are taking part in a WWE tryout that is being held this week at the WWE Performance Center in Florida. The tryout started on Monday and will run through the end of this week.

Other names participating in the tryout according to PWInsider include Kylie Rae, who currently wrestles for the NWA, and KC Navarro.

Vincent and Dutch were part of The Righteous stable in Ring of Honor alongside Bateman and Vita Von Starr. At Final Battle 2021, they defeated Shane Taylor Promotions (Kaun, Moses, and O’Shay Edwards) to win the ROH Six-Man Tag Team titles. At Death Before Dishonor this past July, they dropped the titles to Dalton Castle and The Boys.

In recent weeks, Vincent has been wrestling for CMLL. As a team, Vincent and Dutch have continued to work the independent scene.
