Dr. Tom Prichard joins MLW as senior agent

MLW has announced the latest addition to their behind-the-scenes staff.

It was announced today that Dr. Tom Prichard has joined MLW as a senior agent. MLW noted that Prichard “will work as a coach and coordinator as some of his many duties” for the promotion.

“Dr. Tom is praised for his work with young athletes and we’re thrilled to have him join our staff,” MLW’s Court Bauer said in a press release. “As MLW grows, so does our need for more top-level coaches. Few can match Tom’s experience, ability to connect with prospects as well as coach wrestlers to reach their full potential like Dr. Tom.”

Prichard and Glenn Jacobs (Kane) are the founders of the Jacobs-Prichard Wrestling Academy in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Prichard will start in his role with MLW at their television tapings in North Richland Hills, Texas on Saturday, September 7. Tom Lawlor, Ross Von Erich, Marshall Von Erich and a partner will face Contra Unit (Jacob Fatu, Josef Samael, Simon Gotch & Ikuro Kwon) in a War Chamber match on the show. MLW will also posthumously honor Gary Hart.
