Contract signing added to AEW September to Remember

A contract signing is set for September to Remember.

Tony Khan announced on Tuesday that the AEW World Champion Hangman Page and TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher will meet for a contract signing just days before their match at All Out for the AEW World Championship.

Shortly after his championship win over MJF at Forbidden Door, Don Callis made it clear to Hangman that he wanted the championship back in his family. The end of the September 3 edition of Dynamite saw Hangman and Kenny Omega get beaten down by the stable, with Kyle Fletcher delivering a brainbuster on Hangman Page through a steel chair. He then turned his attention to Omega, delivering another brainbuster through a table.

Heatwave fatal four-way contract signing set for WWE NXT

A contract signing has been added to this coming Tuesday’s NXT.

NXT Champion Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, Ethan Page, and Shawn Spears will all meet in the ring on the last episode of NXT prior to Heatwave next Sunday. Williams will defend the title against all four men in a fatal four-way match.

Originally, Evans was set to get the title match after winning a battle royal. However, on that same show, Page defeated Evans and established himself as a contender for the title despite losing to Williams at NXT Battleground.

This past Tuesday saw Spears also enter the title picture by pinning Williams after Brooks Jensen ran in through the crowd. As he was being aprehended by security, Jensen accidently struck Williams with the announce desk cover, giving Spears the momentum needed to score the win. The wins by both Page and Spears caused Ava to change the match into a fatal four-way.

The announced card for the Tuesday, July 2 WWE NXT:

  • NXT Championship contract signing for Heatwave
  • Street fight: Michin vs. Jaida Parker
  • New Catch Republic’s Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate vs. Hank Walker & Tank Ledger
  • Wendy Choo vs. Carlee Bright
  • NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez & Heatwave challenger Lola Vice face-to-face

Eric Young signs exclusive contract with Impact Wrestling

Eric Young has officially signed an exclusive contract with Impact Wrestling.

In an interview with Sportskeeda, Young confirmed the news.

“Yeah, I am on an exclusive contract with IMPACT,” he was quoted as saying. “ I’m very excited about that!”

“I do have a lot of gas left in the tank,” he added. “ It’s just a question of how much longer I want to do it.”

Young was released by WWE in April as part of wide-ranging cuts due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. He made his return to Impact at Slammiversary, taking part in a five way match for the Impact World title. Once he was eliminated, he immediately took out his frustrations on a returning Rich Swann, attacking his leg.

The angle was continued further on this week’s episode of Impact. Swann announced his retirement due to Young’s attack. As he was being applauded by members of the Impact roster, Young jumped Swann and attacked his leg again.

Young was previously part of Impact Wrestling from 2004 to 2016 before signing with the WWE.
