On the latest Best of Wrestling Observer Live, hear from some of the wrestling industry’s notable newsmakers, stars from the past, and the guys & gals you’ll be hearing more of in the years ahead.

On this edition of the show: 

– We kick off with an interview Mike Sempervive did with Jason Agnew, formerly of Live Audio Wrestling and now the host of Sunday Night’s Main Event, available live on TSN 1150 and also supported by Podbean Patron. He discussed the end of the LAW, why people should check out the new show, and his thoughts on WrestleMania.

– We then move to Bryan and Mike’s talk with Colonel Robert Parker, the longtime WCW manager who is now part of MLW. He talked about his family’s wrestling past, the WCW years, and more.

– We wrap up with Dave Meltzer’s weekly Thursday appearance on the show. Speaking of Dave, he is a featured guest on Jason’s show every Sunday night. On this session, he discussed ROH’s Supercard of Honor, the best shows he saw from WrestleMania weekend, and more.

Relive some of the emotions heading into WrestleMania weekend with this free edition of the Best of Wrestling Observer Live, available Monday through Friday and Sundays on our site, SportsByline.com, and more.

We kick off with Bryan Alvarez and Mike Sempervive talking with Flip Gordon who was heading into a very busy Mania weekend. Get to know about Gordon’s training, who inspired him as a kid, his failed attempts to get on the All In show, and more.

We then head to a solo Sempervive interview with Bullet Club star Hangman Page who is having a moment right now with big matches against Jay White and Kota Ibushi. Mike gets into Page’s rise, how his association with Jimmy Valiant helped him early in his career, and his run in the Bullet Club.

We wrap up with Robbie E, host of the ‘Why It Ended‘ podcast, a show focused on why certain wrestler’s careers ended abruptly. Robbie gives other updates on his career, both in and out of the ring as well.

Best of WOL: Jimmy Jacobs and Dave Meltzer

If you missed any of the interviews from this past week’s Wrestling Observer Live shows, we got you covered.

This week was a very Daniel Bryan-heavy week with daily discussion on his clearance from WWE to return. There were (and still are) plenty of questions about his return to in-ring competition to when he was cleared to his future with the company.

Our Dave Meltzer joined WOL for three straight days to discuss the news, answer fan questions, and more. Those interviews are presented in the order they were recorded, so you can follow along with anything you might have missed.

We then finish up with Jimmy Jacobs of Impact Wrestling, a guy that is touring everywhere in his return to the indie scene. In this extended talk with Bryan Alvarez and Mike Sempervive, Jacobs talks about his past in WWE creative including the zoom in/zoom out effect during brawls, the stares into the distance, what he’s doing with Impact, their “open door policy” and more.
