Hangman Page & Dark Order advance to AEW Trios title tournament final at All Out

The finals for the inaugural AEW Trios title tournament are now set as The Elite’s Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks will face Hangman Page & Dark Order at Sunday’s All Out.

Page, John Silver & Alex Reynolds picked up the win over Best Friends on Friday’s edition of Rampage. The end came when Silver got a roll-up on Chuck Taylor after Taylor had clotheslined Page over the top following an Orange Punch on Page.

Best Friends nearly had the match won when Trent Beretta hit Strong Zero on Reynolds on the outside of the ring followed by Taylor hitting his Awful Waffle on Silver for a near fall that preceded the finish.

Dark Order advanced to tonight’s match by virtue of a win last Friday over House of Black. In that match, 10 hurt his knee which took him out of the tournament. On Wednesday when that was revealed, Evil Uno said he would take the spot and was then taken out by a crutch attack by Andrade El Idolo for unknown reasons.

Page offered to step in on their behalf. Of course, Page is a former member of The Elite with the Bucks and Omega and is a former AEW Tag Team Champion with Omega. The Bucks had originally asked Page to be their partner in the Trios tournament, but he turned them and Dark Order down to stay neutral.

Dark Order advance in AEW Trios title tournament

Dark Order advanced to the AEW Trios Championship tournament semifinals on Friday’s Rampage, picking up a win over House of Black.

The finish of the match came when Miro came out, distracting Brody King and Buddy Matthews who went out to attack. Dark Order’s Alex Reynolds then used the distraction to roll up Malakai Black for the win.

After the match, House of Black jumped Miro and were beating him down when Sting and Darby Allin came down for the save, potentially setting up their own trios match for All Out.

With their win, Dark Order move on to next Friday’s live Rampage, taking on Best Friends in the semifinals.

The winner of that match will face either United Empire (Will Ospreay & Aussie Open) or The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks). Those two teams will meet on Dynamite with one going to the finals, set for Sunday, September 3rd at All Out.
