AEW Dark spoilers from Washington, DC: Toni Storm vs. Emi Sakura

Prior to their doubleheader of a live Rampage and a live Battle of the Belts IV, AEW had nine Dark matches in Washington, DC, that are expected to air this Tuesday on YouTube.

After making some spot appearances at both Ring of Honor pay-per-views, Cage has competed in several AEW matches as of late, losing to TNT Champion Wardlow this past Wednesday.

Castle & The Boys were also on last week’s episode of Dark: Elevation, picking up a victory in a title defense.

AEW Rampage & Dark Elevation spoilers from Philadelphia

The following are spoilers for this Friday’s AEW Rampage and this Monday’s AEW Dark: Elevation, both taped Wednesday in Philadelphia, PA.

AEW Rampage —

  • The Acclaimed defeated The Butcher & The Blade and Private Party in a triple threat match to retain the AEW World Tag Team titles.
  • Jamie Hayter defeated Willow Nightingale
  • Lee Moriarty (with Stokley Hathaway and W. Morrissey) defeated Fuego Del Sol
  • Ryan Nemeth came out and insulted Philadelphia. Hook came to the ring and choked Nemeth out. The Trustbusters came out and put an envelope on the rampway. Hook took the envelope as he was heading to the back.
  • Rush defeated John Silver. After the match, Andrade El Idolo attacked Silver and Reynolds. The Dark Order ended up getting involved, as well as Butcher & Blade. Hangman Page came out for the save.

AEW Dark: Elevation —  

  • Skye Blue defeated Trish Adora

AEW Grand Slam Rampage & Dark Elevation spoilers

The following are spoilers for Friday’s AEW Grand Slam edition of Rampage in addition to Monday’s episode of AEW Dark: Elevation — both emanating from Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York.

Rampage:

  • Sting and Darby Allin defeated Brody King and Buddy Matthews. The finish had Matthews about to attack Sting with a baseball bat when the lights went out. The Great Muta’s music played as Muta came out and sprayed mist on Matthews. This caused Matthews to bump Julia Hart off the apron and onto a table. Sting pinned Matthews to pick up the win. Sting and Muta hugged after the match.
  • Hook and Action Bronson defeated Matt Menard and Angelo Parker. Hook scored the win for his team after applying a double redrum.
  • Jade Cargill defeated Diamante (with Trina) to retain the TBS Championship. After the match, Trina turned on Diamante, slapping her and shaking hands with Cargill.
  • Samoa Joe & Wardlow defeated Tony Nese & Josh Woods. Joe and Wardlow dominated the match, with Joe pinning Nese. Woods and Nese attacked Joe after the match. Wardlow made the save and also laid out Mark Sterling with two powerbombs after he attempted to interfere. Joe picked Sterling up then threw him into Wardlow, who powerbombed him again.
  • Jungle Boy defeated Rey Fenix. After the match, Christian emerged wearing a sling. Luchasaurus then attacked Jungle Boy from behind. Christian told Jungle Boy that Luchasaurus was his right hand of destruction. Luchasaurus then powerbombed Jungle Boy.
  • A backstage segment with the Jericho Appreciation Society revealed there will be an appreciation event held on next week’s Dynamite.
  • Sammy Guevara defeated Eddie kingston. Guevara cut a promo before the match saying he’s sorry…sorry he didn’t call Kingston “a fat piece of s***” sooner. Kingston hit Guevara with three back fists, then submitted Guevara for the win. However, he refused to let go of the hold, so the referee overturned the match. Kingston ended up destroying security after that decision.
  • Hangman Page won the Golden Ticket Battle Royal. Page will get the title shot on the October 18 edition of Dynamite, which will air on a Tuesday. Other participants included Rush, The Butcher, The Blade, Dark Order, Private Party, Danhausen, Dante Martin, Penta El 0 M, Brian Cage, Ari Daivari, Lance Archer, Daniel Garcia, Cole Carter, Best Friends, Jake Hager, Dalton Castle, Lee Moriarty, Matt Hardy, and Jay Lethal. Page last eliminated Rush to pick up the win.
  • Ricky Starks defeated Powerhouse Hobbs in a Lights Out match. Starks speared Hobbs through a table before laying out Hobbs with his finisher for the win. 

Dark Elevation:

  • Penelope Ford & Kip Sabian defeated Skye Blue & Shawn Dean
  • Ortiz defeated Serpentico (w/ Luther)

AEW Rampage & Dark Elevation spoilers: Mascara Dorada debuts

The following are spoilers from both AEW Rampage and AEW Dark: Elevation, taped before and after Wednesday’s Dynamite in Albany, New York.

AEW Rampage (Friday) — 

  • Darby Allin defeated Matt Hardy. After the match, Allin exited and the lights went off. When they came back on, Brody King with Julia Hart was in the ring and attacked Hardy with a lariat. King then said that just because Allin & Sting bit the head off the snake, doesn’t mean there’s still venom in the fangs. He challenged Sting and Allin to a no DQ match next week at Grand Slam. They ended up agreeing to the match.
  • Claudio Castagnoli, with Wheeler Yuta, came out for a promo with Tony Schiavone. Castagnoli said that while Yuta lost the ROH Pure Championship last week, but he would win it back. He said that after next week’s Grand Slam, there will be two world champions in the Blackpool Combat Club. Chris Jericho, who was on commentary, then rose from his seat and said the one place he was never champion was in Ring of Honor, and seven world titles was not enough, he wanted “ocho”. He challenged Castagnoli for a match on Wednesday, with Castagnoli accepting.
  • A backstage promo had Jade Cargill say she didn’t have any competition. Diamante ended up challenging her to a match next week, and said she wouldn’t be coming alone.
  • Penelope Ford defeated Willow Nightingale
  • Ethan Page defeated Danhausen
  • Samoa Joe defeated Josh Woods to retain the ROH Television Championship. After the match, Woods and Tony Nese attacked Joe. Wardlow came out for the save. Wardlow and Joe were about to go after Mark Sterling when Nese and Woods pulled him out of the ring. Joe and Wardlow eventually issued a challenge to Nese and Woods for next week’s Grand Slam.

AEW Dark: Elevation (Monday)  — 

Matt Menard and Ian Riccaboni were on commentary.

  • Zack Clayton defeated Conan Lycan. Lycan is from the area.
  • Nyla Rose (w/ Vickie Guerrero & Marina Shafir) defeated Rebecca Scott. Shair did a promo afterward about Albany welcoming her family when they came from Moldova, but then turned on the crowd.
  • Private Party defeated DangerKid & Aiden Aggro
  • Skye Blue defeated Clara Carreras

  • Sammy Guevara defeated Darby Allin to advance in the AEW Grand Slam Tournament of Champions.
  • Samoa Joe came out for a promo. He said it felt good to return to AEW. Smart Mark Sterling came out with Tony Nese and Josh Woods. Sterling praised Woods and said he deserved a shot at the ROH Television Championship. Joe agrees with him, and says that Woods can get the title match right now. Sterling said that they won’t do it in Buffalo, but will do it next week in Albany.
  • Serena Deeb defeated Madison Rayne.
  • Claudio Castagnoli defeated Dax Harwood to retain the ROH World Championship.

AEW Rampage for Friday, August 19

  • ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli came out with Wheeler Yuta. He gave a shout out to Ricky Steamboat, who was in the front row. He issued an open challenge for next week’s show. Dustin Rhodes came out to accept the challenge.
  • Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland defeated Private Party to retain the AEW World Tag Team titles.
  • The Factory were playing cards backstage when Powerhouse Hobbs arrived, flipping the table. QT Marshall promised that they would take care of Ricky Starks.
  • Hook defeated Zack Clayton to retain the FTW Championship. A promo aired after the match with Angelo Parker and Matt Mernard talking about challenging for the FTW title.
  • Buddy Matthews (with Julia Hart) defeated Serpentico. Miro came out after the match as he and Matthews brawled.
  • Athena defeated Penelope Ford with the eclipse. After the match, Red Velvet and Kiera Hogan attacked Athena and held her as Jade Cargill appeared and destroyed Athena’s ring gear with a sledgehammer. She then came to the ring and attacked Athena with the sledgehammer.
  • Best Friends (Trent Beretta, Chuck Taylor, and Orange Cassidy) defeated The Trustbusters (Ari Daivari, Slim J, and Parker Boudreaux) to advance in the AEW Trios Tag Team title tournament. Sonny Kiss interfered during the match, and Danhausen appeared to curse the Trustbusters. Best Friends won after Cassidy jumped off of Taylor’s and Beretta’s shoulders with a splash on Slim J.

AEW Dark: Elevation for Monday, August 22

  • Anna Jay defeated Nikki Victory with the Queen Slayer.
  • Ruby Soho and Gabby Ortiz defeated Queen Aminata & Nikki Midas. Ortiz won with a fisherman’s driver.
  • Dante Martin defeated Jackson Drake. Martin won with a uranage.
  • Dark Order’s John Silver, Alex Reynolds & 10 defeated RC Dupree, Damone Soravino and Alexander Apollo. Silver got the win after a clothesline from 10.
  • Serena Deeb defeated Megan Myers with the serenity lock.
  • Julia Hart defeated Hailey Shadows with a rings of Saturn.
  • Tony Nese and Josh Woods defeated Logan James & Andre with a double team angle slam into a swinging neckbreaker.
  • Death Triangle (Lucha Brothers & AEW All-Atlantic Champion PAC) defeated Manscout Jake Manning, Dean Alexander & Rosario Grillo after Pentagon pinned ALexander with a package piledriver.
  • Maki Itoh & Emi Sakura defeated Hikaru Shida & Sky Blue. Sakura won the match for their team after pinning Blue with a stormbreaker.

AEW Battle of the Belts III spoilers from Grand Rapids, Michigan

The following are spoilers from Friday’s AEW Battle of the Belts III taping in Grand Rapids, Michigan, prior to the live Rampage. The show will air Saturday on TNT.

AEW Battle of the Belts III:

  • TNT Champion Wardlow defeated Jay Lethal to retain the title after hitting a power bomb
  • AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa (w/ Toni Storm) defeated Jamie Hayter to retain the title
  • Ring of Honor World Champion Claudio Castagnoli defeated Konosuke Takeshita to retain the title

AEW’s next taping will be a special edition of Dynamite called Quake at the Lake, which will take place at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Both AEW Dynamite and Rampage will be held. Matches announced for Dynamite include:

  • Interim AEW World Champion Jon Moxley defends against Chris Jericho
  • TBS Champion Jade Cargill defends against Madison Rayne
  • Darby Allin vs. Brody King in a coffin match

AEW Dark: Elevation spoilers from Las Vegas

In a rarity, AEW taped just two matches for this Monday’s Dark: Elevation prior to Wednesday’s Dynamite in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to reports from fans, they played the Double or Nothing Countdown show inside the arena instead of more action.

Given Friday’s live Rampage, it’s likely they will tape more action for Elevation, in addition to Tuesday’s Dark, before and after Rampage.

In one of the matches, Konosuke Takeshita rebounded from his loss to AEW World Champion Hangman Page last week with a victory over Ryan Nemeth of The Wingmen.

Takeshita recently returned to both the U.S. and AEW and drew praise for the Page match.

In the other, Ring of Honor Women’s Champion Mercedes Martinez defeated Dark regular Mazzerati by submission. Martinez recently unified the title by defeating Deonna Purrazzo in a title vs. title match on Dynamite.

Wednesday’s action was set at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, the site of Friday’s show as well. Sunday’s pay-per-view will transition to the T-Mobile Arena

AEW Rampage and Dark Elevation spoilers from Baltimore

AEW taped matches for this Friday’s Rampage and next week’s Dark: Elevation at Wednesday’s Dynamite event in Baltimore.

AEW Rampage spoilers for Friday, May 6 —

  • Toni Storm & Ruby Soho defeated Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. & Jamie Hayter
  • Storm pinned Baker with a cradle after a good match. Lots of spots with Storm and Hayter working together.

  • A graphic was shown on the video wall for Storm vs. Hayter in the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament, but the date was not made clear. That may take place on next week’s Dynamite on Long Island.
  • Hook defeated JD Drake
  • Danhausen offered to align with Hook after the match, but Hook appeared to decline. 

  • Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament qualifier: Riho defeated Yuka Sakazaki
  • Really good match that got a lot of time.

  • Shawn Spears cut a promo and called Wardlow the real giant of pro wrestling, but said he’s the giant killer. 
  • American Top Team’s Dan Lambert, TNT Champion Scorpio Sky, and Ethan Page did an in-ring promo. Lambert said he was from Baltimore and wore an Orioles shirt, then heeled on the crowd and said the people here have ruined the city and that’s why he tells people he’s from Miami. Page cut a babyface promo on Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti. Sky said that he is restoring prestige to the TNT title, which means Lambert has to return his version of the TNT title to the ATT trophy case. Frankie Kazarian interrupted and Sky agreed to give him his TNT title match “next week,” presumably on Rampage.
  • Jay Lethal (w/Satnam Singh & Sonjay Dutt) defeated Konosuke Takeshita
  • Lethal won with the Lethal Injection. Dutt and Lethal stomped Takeshita after the match. Best Friends and Orange Cassidy came in for the save. Singh beat up Best Friends. Cassidy avoided Singh. Samoa Joe ran in with a steel pipe, but was cut off by security and referees on the ramp. 

AEW Dark: Elevation spoilers —

  • Dark Order (Evil Uno, Alan Angels, Preston Vance & Alex Reynolds) defeated four enhancement talents 
  • Abadon defeated Emi Sakura
  • Sonny Kiss defeated Peter Avalon
  • Max Caster defeated Cheeseburger
  • Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland defeated QT Marshall & Nick Comoroto

AEW Rampage spoilers from Cedar Park, Texas

Here are spoilers from tonight’s AEW Rampage tapings that took place following the live episode of Dynamite at the HEB Center in Cedar Park, Texas.

  • Dustin Rhodes defeated Lance Archer. After the match, Archer attacked and beat down Rhodes.
  • Fuego Del Sol came out for a promo, calling out the House of Black. Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews then came out. They proceeded to attack Fuego until The Dark Order ran out for the save.
  • reDRagon (Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly) defeated Alan ‘5’ Angels and 10.
  • Nyla Rose defeated Madi Wrenkowski
  • QT Marshall presented Hook with a “certificate of accomplishment”.
  • Ricky Starks defeated Swerve Strickland to retain the FTW Championship. Keith Lee and Hobbs got involved. A tag team match was then set for a later date.

AEW next heads to Columbia, South Carolina for Dynamite and Rampage at the Colonial Life Arena on March 30. Already announced for the show is FTR taking on The Gunn Club and Darby Allin facing Andrade El Idolo.

The following are spoilers for this Friday’s AEW Rampage and the following Monday’s AEW Dark: Elevation, taped Wednesday in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

AEW Dark: Elevation

  • Jay Lethal defeated Jora Johl (w/ Matt Hardy). Afterward, Hardy told Johl that if he needed to do something to impress him, his spot in AHFO would be deleted.
  • Red Velvet defeated Skye Blue. Leyla Hirsch came down the ring to taunt Velvet, but nothing physical came of it.
  • Kazarian defeated Alan “5” Angels
  • Nyla Rose, Emi Sakura and Diamante defeated three local talents
  • Lance Archer defeated Fuego Del Sol
  • Leyla Hirsh defeated Willow Nightingale
  • Dark Order’s Stu Grayson and Evil Uno defeated Chaos Project

AEW Rampage

  • Sammy Guevara defeated Andrade El Idolo to retain the TNT Championship. Matt Hardy came out to attack Guevara after the match, but Darby Allin came out for the save.
  • QT Marshall called out Hook, saying he taught him self-respect. Hook arrived, but Marshall sent security after him. Hook took down all of the security personel.
  • Serena Deeb defeated Kayla Sparks in 2:30 in The Professor’s five minute rookie challenge.
  • The AEW Women’s Championship contract signing for Revolution took place between champion Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa. Rosa attacked Britt, but was outnumbered. Mercedes Martinez then came out for the save, putting Jamie Hayter through a table. The segment ended with Rosa holding the belt and celebrating with Martinez.
  • Wardlow defeated Nick Comoroto after multiple powerbombs. Aaron Solo, who was at ringside, was also taken out with powerbombs.
  • Orange Cassidy defeated Anthony Bowens to qualify for the Face of the Revolution ladder match.

AEW Rampage spoilers from Raleigh, North Carolina

AEW taped this week’s Rampage following tonight’s live edition of Dynamite in Raleigh, North Carolina.

  • Adam Cole defeated Trent Baretta
  • Shawn Spears defeated Andrew Everett. Spears cut a promo warning CM Punk ahead of their match on next week’s Dynamite.
  • Nyla Rose, The Bunny, and Penelope Ford defeated Kris Statlander, Leyla Hirsch, and Red Velvet
  • Jay Lethal cut a promo talking about what had happened on Dynamite between him, Dante Martin, and members of Team Taz.
  • Jungle Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) defeated John Silver and Alex Reynolds of the Dark Order to retain the AEW World Tag Team titles

A special look at the feud between Mercedes Martinez and Thunder Rosa is also scheduled for this Friday’s Rampage.

AEW will next travel to Washington, D.C. for AEW Dynamite on January 19 and AEW Rampage on January 22. Scheduled to take place alongside Punk vs. Spears is Adam Cole and Britt Baker vs. Kris Statlander and Orange Cassidy, the return of Cody Rhodes, Serena Deeb vs. Skye Blue, and Sting & Darby Allin vs. The Acclaimed.

AEW Dark spoilers from Charlotte, North Carolina

AEW taped matches before and after tonight’s Battle of the Belts event in Charlotte, North Carolina. These matches will appear on future episodes of AEW Dark.

  • Shawn Dean defeated Liam Frost
  • Tay Conti and Anna Jay defeated The Renegade Twins
  • Gunn Club defeated Patrick Scott, Marcus Kross, and a local competitor
  • Anthony Ogogo defeated Baron Black
  • Red Velvet defeated a local competitor
  • Orange Cassidy defeated JD Drake
  • Dante Martin defeated Aaron Solo
  • Jade Cargill defeated Skye Blue in a TBS Championship qualifier match
  • Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) defeated The Factory (Nick Comoroto and QT Marshall) in a Tag Team Championship qualifier match
  • Powerhouse Hobbs defeated a local competitor
  • Eddie Kingston defeated Joey Janela
  • Daniel Garcia defeated Fuego del Sol. Garcia submitted Fuego with a sharpshooter.
  • Thunder Rosa defeated a local competitor
  • Hangman Page, Alan Angels, and 10 defeated Matt Hardy and Private Party. Tony Khan had said previously that if Hardy’s team won, he would get a future title shot on an episode of Rampage.

AEW will next travel to Raleigh, North Carolina this Wednesday for a live episode of Dynamite and Rampage tapings at the PNC Arena.
