AEW gaming podcast ‘on hold’ until further notice

All Elite Arcade, AEW’s gaming podcast from Evil Uno & Adam Cole, is on hold “until further notice.”

The podcast has not released a new episode since the end of April, and Evil Uno sent out an update today for fans wondering where the show has been. Evil Uno said they have been told to put all AEW Games content on hold for the moment. A date for when the show will return was not provided.

“Since it’s been a month of silence, we were told to put all AEWGames content on hold for the time being,” Evil Uno posted on social media.

“I miss doing the All Elite Arcade podcast as much as you miss listening to it, but it is in a holding pattern until further notice. I hope you all understand.”

All Elite Arcade features “weekly gaming adventures, news, reviews, and lively discussions with special guests from the gaming and wrestling worlds.” The show is presented in partnership with TNT/TBS and sponsored by the trading card company Upper Deck.

Future of AEW podcasts —

The AEW Unrestricted podcast, which was hosted by Aubrey Edwards & Will Washington and centered on interviews with AEW talent, wrapped up in March after producing more than 300 episodes. On the last show, Edwards & Washington promised that there would be more podcast content coming from AEW. The MyAEW website has a banner saying that an AEW podcast network is coming soon, but there aren’t any details aside from that.

AEW Unrestricted ends, update on future podcast plans

Unrestricted, AEW’s weekly podcast since 2020, has wrapped up its run.

The final episode of AEW Unrestricted premiered today with hosts Aubrey Edwards and Will Washington looking back at the show’s six-year existence. It produced more than 300 episodes, focusing on interviews with AEW talent and pay-per-view preview. Edwards and Washington said they are not going anywhere and will remain very busy in their other AEW roles.

Unrestricted was presented in partnership with TNT/TBS and was sponsored by trading card company Upper Deck.

Edwards said ending the podcast is bittersweet, but this felt like the right time to close the chapter on Unrestricted. She and Washington noted that AEW has plans to develop other podcast content that fans will be excited for:

  • Washington: That’s not to say that this is the end of podcasts with AEW.
  • Edwards: No, not at all.
  • Washington: It’s actually the opposite, right? Where there is going to be more podcast content coming from All Elite Wrestling. Don’t fret. There is more and more content. And it’s like content that we’ve all talked about for years and stuff that fans have really been asking for.
  • Edwards: It’s exciting stuff. It’s exciting stuff. The little bit that I’ve heard is pretty great.

When Unrestricted first launched, Edwards and Tony Schiavone were its hosts. She took a moment on the final episode to thank Schiavone for giving her the chance to be part of the show.

“I am so grateful for this time,” Edwards said. “I texted Tony Schiavone last night and I just said, ‘Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a podcast host for six years.’ Which is never something I expected. Like, I didn’t even expect to be in this business. My dream was never to be a referee. I didn’t start watching wrestling until like 2012. And the fact that I got to do this every week, I’m just so grateful. I’m just really freaking grateful, man.”

Edwards and Washington both work behind the scenes in AEW, with Edwards also having an on-screen role as a referee. Washington’s backstage job title is Wrestling Administration Coordinator. He already had podcast experience prior to joining AEW in 2023, including hosting the show Grapsody.

AEW launching new gaming podcast with Adam Cole & Evil Uno

AEW is launching a new podcast focused on the world of video games.

On April 15, the “All Elite Arcade” podcast will debut on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and the AEW Games YouTube channel. The show is hosted by AEW wrestlers Adam Cole & Evil Uno and will have new episodes debut every Monday.

“We love video games, and we love video games so much that we want to share that passion with all of you, because we’re starting the All Elite Arcade podcast,” Cole said in the trailer for the show.

“Every single week you can hear me and [Cole] talk about the latest gaming news, video game reviews, and what games we’re currently playing,” Uno added.

“And in addition to that, we’ll have special guests come on and talk anything and everything video games,” Cole said. “I can’t wait.”

Guests will include members of the AEW roster and people from the video game community.

Cole goes by the name “TheCHUGS” on Twitch, where he regularly streams himself playing video games.

AEW also has the AEW Unrestricted podcast, which is hosted by Aubrey Edwards & Will Washington. They interview a different AEW talent every Thursday.
