Mercedes Mone match announced for AEW Dynamite Spring BreakThru

The CEO will be in action in an Owen Hart Foundation women’s tournament semifinals match on next week’s AEW Dynamite Spring Breakthru special.

Mercedes Mone will wrestle in her hometown of Boston on the Wednesday, April 16 AEW Dynamite Spring BreakThru against the winner of Saturday’s Athena vs. Harley Cameron quarterfinals matchup on Collision. Mone defeated Julia Hart in a quarterfinals matchup at last Sunday’s Dynasty pay-per-view to advance.

Mone made her AEW debut in Boston at the Big Business Dynamite special in 2024, but has not wrestled in her hometown since a February 2020 tag team match on WWE SmackDown, where Naomi and Lacey Evans defeated Bayley and the then-Sasha Banks.

The Spring BreakThru special will celebrate AEW Dynamite surpassing WCW Monday Nitro for the longest-running prime time pro wrestling program in the history of the TBS/TNT networks. No other matches have been announced for the show to this point.

Dynamite Spring BreakThru is one of two consecutive nights for AEW in Boston as they run the MGM Music Hall. A live Collision episode will air from the MGM on Thursday, April 17.
