New NXT name rumored for “summer reshuffle” on the TV show

A newly signed NXT name is reportedly set to debut in the next few months. According to a rumor from Rope Break, the former Patreon for PWN and formerly affiliated with BodySlam, Nikki Blackheart is expected to be debuting on NXT television at some point in the summer as part of the brand’s “reshuffle”:

Nikki Blackheart (who recently had a dark match in NXT under the ring name “Martinez”) is set to debut and be a part of the reshuffle for NXT this summer.

The “reshuffle” hasn’t been confirmed elsewhere, although it would make sense for some call ups to take place around SummerSlam, leaving gaps to be filled on the NXT roster.

Nikki Blackheart WWE Signing

Blackheart made her WWE debut in a dark match taped at the WWE Performance Center recently, and our own Bryan Alvarez confirmed that she was now signed to the company ahead of the official announcement:

Update on Nikki Blackheart and WWE: She is no longer an indie wrestler. She is a former cheerleader for the NHL Florida Panthers who trained under Gangrel. Right after Mania 2025 she ended up HEAVILY on WWE’s radar, said to be top five. She was heavily praised by Bayley, so her tryout was basically a guarantee. That was this past February. She very recently moved to Orlando and is one of the few that have still yet to be officially announced by WWE, but all are officially in Orlando and under the typical starting PC/NXT contracts which are usually about three years.

Nikki Blackheart WWE NXT

We’re working to try and get more on this, however for the the time being, we will be treating it as a rumor until we can get something more concrete.

The Rope Break Patreon and affiliated entities (such as BodySlam) have previously broken legitimate news in the past, but recent changes over there have meant that the Patreon is now listed under “Rope Break.” While we believe that it is still the same main group of people reporting this information, we will not be posting anything they break as news, only rumors, until we’re able to verify it ourselves going forward.

WWE Rumors: Why WWE removed parts of segment and more

The pro wrestling rumor mill will always be turning these days, and we’ve got together all of the latest WWE Rumors that are currently floating around the internet for you to check out below. As always some of these rumors are as of yet officially confirmed so please treat them as such.

Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton Segment

The segment between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton on last week’s episode of SmackDown went off the rails, and all subsequent uploads of said segment completely edited out elements that mentioned her divorces. This was apparently a directive “from above” but it is not currently known if Stratton or Flair requested this themselves.

Rob Van Dam Gets Injured

PWInsider have reported that Rob Van Dam rolled his ankle during his appearance at MLW’s Battle Riot VII. It was however noted that the WWE Hall of Famer was apparently “doing okay” the next day.

Bryan Danielson Backstage

Although this is more AEW-centric, it’s worth noting again from PWInsider that Bryan Danielson, the former Daniel Bryan in WWE, was backstage at AEW Dynasty last night.

Danielson is retired from “full-time” wrestling, but there is a very good chance that he will be back in action in time for the All In event from Texas.

Charlotte Flair Tiffany Stratton SmackDown Promo

According to a report from WrestleVotes, the promo segment between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton on SmackDown last night “said very little of what was in the rundown for them.” Apparently the segment went “off script quite a bit.”

WRKD Wrestling added to this but had an alternative view on the line about Charlotte’s multiple divorces, sating “For anyone concerned or thinking otherwise: Charlotte’s divorce absolutely would not have been mentioned without clearance ahead of time.” Take that as you will.

Kairi Sane WWE Return

PWInsider has reported that Kairi Sane is “very close” to getting back in the ring. There’s nothing beyond that in terms of an official date at this point in time.

Former WWE Champion a Free Agent

Fightful Select has reported that former WWE Cruiserweight Champion TJP/TJ Perkins has not re-signed with New Japan and is now a free agent. There’s current no word on where he could be heading next.

F4WOnline’s own Dave Meltzer has been given the impression that Lana/CJ Perry will not be coming back to WWE, despite the fact that her husband Miro/Rusev does appear to have made his way back following his release from AEW.

King of the Ring Scrapped?

WWE Rumors: Main roster feud scrapped? and more

The pro wrestling rumor mill will always be turning these days, and we’ve got together all of the latest WWE Rumors that are currently floating around the internet for you to check out below. As always some of these rumors are as of yet officially confirmed so please treat them as such.

WWE Rumors: Bayley vs Roxanne on the main roster

Fightful has reported that there has been no further talk of the company running with a Bayley vs Roxanne Perez feud on the main roster anytime soon. The two were feuding in NXT earlier this year but as of writing it does not appear to be something that will be brought to RAW or SmackDown right now.

Scripted Promos

Fightful Select have reported that the company are still heavily scripting promos in the Triple H era. Some performers are given more “leeway,” but apparently even the promo work that appears to be “unscripted” is, in fact, very much scripted.

The likes of CM Punk, Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns especially have seemingly had a ton of leeway when it comes to their televised promo work.

Tonga Loa Return

PWN has claimed that Tonga Loa will be making his return to WWE programming in June. Tonga has been off of programming for some time due to injury and the OG vs 2.0 Bloodline storyline appears to have been shelved in his absence.

WWE Rumors: Netflix WWE RAW booking control and more

The pro wrestling rumor mill will always be turning these days, and we’ve got together all of the latest WWE Rumors that are currently floating around the internet for you to check out below. As always some of these rumors are as of yet officially confirmed so please treat them as such.

Does Netflix control WWE RAW booking?

Triple H appeared on BBC Newsbeat and claimed that Netflix has no creative control over the RAW product, only how long the actual show is and when it airs on the platform. There had been some rumors regarding the streaming giant and their involvement, but at face value it appears as though they don’t have ‘direct’ involvement in booking.

It is likely that Netflix will be asking WWE for some concessions, as it has not been uncommon in the past for the likes of USA Network, FOX et al to ask for certain Superstars to be on their channel. Netflix probably have had a say in that with John Cena appearing on the show for the past few weeks ahead of WrestleMania 41.

Karrion Kross WWE Contract

Fightful Select has reported that Karrion Kross’ WWE contract will be ending at some point this summer. Kross has apparently been impressing people backstage, with Fightful writing “those we’ve spoken to in WWE of late have been ecstatic with Kross’ ability to get himself over with social media and the angles he’s been in on Raw.”

WWE UK PLE 2026

Triple H was asked by the Daily Mail’Alex McCarthy if WWE would be doing another PLE in the United Kingdom “within the next year.” Hunter confirmed that the company would be and that India is also another country he wants the company to head to in the near future.
