Wrestling Observer Live: Bray Wyatt needs to get to the point

Wrestling Observer Live Saturday with Jim Valley.

A new segment today: “Down in the Valley”, going off on all of the depressing and annoying crap in pro wrestling this week like high ticket prices. Why do we put up with this, people tolerating ridiculous prices for “premium” or “platinum” tickets. It will just get worse.

What about Bray Wyatt? Are we sitting through another three months of pointless interviews and vignettes so he can introduce another person into his group? Get to the point, Bray. Plus some other rants, check it out.

Wheel of Fortune casting for special WWE-themed episodes in 2023

WWE and Wheel of Fortune have announced a partnership.

The popular game show has revealed plans to film a week’s worth of episodes in early 2023 featuring WWE talent. Each episode will feature a WWE wrestler paired with a “WWE Superfan.” Those wishing to apply to be a contestant can submit a video application here

“Do you want to solve puzzles with your favorite WWE Superstar? Submit a fun video telling us which WWE Superstar you want to play with, and why you should be a contestant during WWE Week for your chance to spin the Wheel!”

The episodes will air as part of Wheel of Fortune’s 40th season.

Xavier Woods was a contestant on Sunday’s edition of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. He raised $96,000 for the Gamers Outreach charity.

Woods posted a video on Monday regarding WWE’s partnership with Wheel of Fortune.

“I am here to announce that maybe you get the chance to be on Wheel of Fortune with your favorite WWE Superstars because WWE and Wheel of Fortune are coming together to do a full week of WWE on Wheel of Fortune,” Woods says in his video.

Xavier Woods is set to be a contestant on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.

The episode featuring Woods will air Sunday, October 30 at 9 p.m Eastern time on ABC. The series also streams on Hulu.

Woods last wrestled on WWE programming during the October 7 edition of SmackDown. He teamed with Kofi Kingston and Braun Strowman to defeat Sami Zayn and the Usos on the show.

Woods recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of his King of the Ring victory as well. He defeated Finn Balor in the finals of last year’s tournament at Crown Jewel.
