Several Raw wrestlers scheduled to appear on tonight’s SmackDown

Tonight’s SmackDown from Wilkes-Barre, PA will feature at least some Raw involvement coming off the SmackDown appearances last night on Raw.

Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax, Bayley, and Alicia Fox were all sent to the show, likely to lead to a confrontation with the SmackDown women’s team and help build that match up.

Many expected the key Raw talents like Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns to appear on tonight’s show, but we have not heard if they are in Wilkes-Barre.

Undertaker and Edge are the promoted guest stars on the show, with this being SmackDown’s 900th episode. Undertaker’s appearance is likely to tease a new direction for him. Edge will be doing a Cutting Edge segment with an interview with Team SmackDown of A.J. Styles, Dean Ambrose, Shane McMahon, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, and James Ellsworth.

Steve Khan will have live coverage of tonight’s show starting at 8 p.m. ET.

Edge to appear on next week’s episode of SmackDown

WWE, in the form of a tweet by Shane McMahon, announced that Edge would be appearing on the November 15th episode of SmackDown.

Edge, who is currently working on a second season of Edge & Christian’s network show, “The Edge and Christian Show that Totally Reeks of Awesomeness,” will be doing a Cutting Edge segment.

The company is trying to promote the show from Wilkes-Barre, PA, which also includes the return of The Undertaker, as a major event celebrating the 900th episode of SmackDown.

WWE also made an announcement that next Monday, after Raw on the WWE Network, there would be a “State of the WWE” debate segment with Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley vs. Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan. The idea will be to build the heat between the brands for the matches at Survivor Series six days later in Toronto.

Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan will be on next Monday’s Raw, from Buffalo, NY, which is being promoted around a face-off between Brock Lesnar and Bill Goldberg.
