ROH x MLP Global Wars Canada to air this week on HonorClub

Ring of Honor has announced that ROH x MLP Global Wars Canada will air on HonorClub this week.

On Wednesday, ROH’s social media accounts posted that the event, which was taped on Friday, March 27 from St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, will air on Friday night at 8 PM on WatchROH.com.

ROH wrote:

ROH x MLP Global Wars Canada results: MLP Tag Team Champions crowned

Ring of Honor and Maple Leaf Pro presented a joint show from St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, on Friday night.

The main event saw The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows) become the first-ever MLP Tag Team Champions. After the match, Bishop Dyer turned on his partner Kaito Kiyomiya.

The show aired as a pay-per-view on Triller. Mauro Ranallo, Ian Riccaboni, and Don Callis were on commentary.

ROH x MLP Global Wars Canada results:

  • The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows) defeated Kaito Kiyomiya and Bishop Dyer, Gates of Agony, and Bryce Hansen and Sheldon Jean to become the first-ever MLP Tag Team Champions

Full lineup announced for ROH x MLP Global Wars Canada

The full lineup for ROH x MLP Global Wars Canada is now official.

Two matches have been announced in recent days to complete the card: a pre-show bout featuring Billie Starkz vs. Maya World, and a six-pack challenge featuring Michael Oku, Jake Crist, Barbaro Cavernario, Michael Allen Richard Clark, Ace Austin, and Brent Banks.

According to Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, both Starkz and Deonna Purrazzo were pulled from a Black Label Pro show on Friday in order to wrestle at Global Wars. Purrazzo is scheduled to defend the Women’s Pure Championship against Gisele Shaw.

The event takes place at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and will air as a pay-per-view on Triller. On Saturday, March 28, MLP will present Uprising at the same venue.
