AEW Rampage & Ring of Honor TV spoilers from Quebec City

The following are spoilers for the Friday, March 29 AEW Rampage episode, plus spoilers for an episode of Ring of Honor TV. 

Matches for Ring of Honor TV were taped prior to Wednesday’s live AEW Dynamite, and the March 29 Rampage was taped after Dynamite in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada at the Centre Videotron. 

Rampage returns to its usual Friday, 10 p.m. Eastern time slot on TNT this week after a live airing on TBS last Wednesday following Dynamite.

Four matches were taped last night for Ring of Honor TV. 

With both AEW Collision and Battle of the Belts taking place from the Chartway Arena on Saturday night, it was only an abbreviated ROH show.

  • Diamante defeated Dream Girl Ellie. Diamante jumped Ellie during the pre-match handshake.
  • ROH Television Championship: Kyle Fletcher defeated Christopher Daniels with a kneeling piledriver to retain the title. Fletcher came out with new gear.
  • El Hijo del Vikingo (with Alex Abrahantes) defeated Action Andretti to retain the AAA Mega Heavyweight title. 

ROH spoilers from Garland, Texas

One night after Final Battle, Ring of Honor was back inside the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas to tape an episode of ROH TV. 

Tony Khan came out to address the live crowd during the tapings. He unveiled a new Women’s TV Championship that will now be part of the promotion. Details on how the first title holder will be crowned have not yet been revealed.  

After their main event clash at Final Battle, Athena, and Billie Starkz are back working together. Now that she’s officially Athena’s minion, Starkz was in the champion’s corner for a proving ground match against Maya World. 

The Von Erichs were back in action for ROH as well at the show. They wrestled the Workhorsemen in tag team action.

EJ Nduka wrestled a dark match before Collision as well. 

Dasha also led the crowd in an “Adam Copeland” chant that was recorded so it could be added to AEW Fight Forever. 

Bryan Danielson addressed the live crowd after Collision. AEW posted footage of this to its YouTube channel last night.
