Regina Di WAVE title match set for next AEW Rampage

Hikaru Shida will defend the Regina Di WAVE Championship against The Bunny on the December 9 AEW Rampage episode. 

AEW announced the title defense during this week’s Rampage. Shida captured the title at Pro Wrestling WAVE’s 15th anniversary show in Tokyo in August. She has since made two successful title defenses, including one on AEW Dark: Elevation against Emi Sakura in a match taped on August 24 that aired on the August 29 episode. 

The Bunny returned to action on AEW Dark last month following a six-month injury absence. Her last bout on AEW television came in an Owen Hart Cup qualifying match against Toni Storm on the March 30 Dynamite.

AEW also promised to announce more matches for next week’s Rampage during the December 7 Dynamite show.

Regina Di WAVE title match set for AEW Dark: Elevation

The Regina Di Wave Championship from Japan’s WAVE promotion will be defended on AEW Dark: Elevation. 

Hikaru Shida will put the title on the line against Emi Sakura. It will be Shida’s first defense since defeating Suzu Suzuki for the belt at the WAVE 15th Anniversary show on August 14.

Dante Martin, Julia Hart, Serena Deeb, Rush, and Matt Hardy are all also scheduled for Dark: Elevation this week. The show was filmed from the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio last Wednesday. 

AEW Dark: Elevation airs Monday at 7 p.m Eastern time on YouTube. The lineup for the show is as follows:
