Maxxine Dupri graduation ceremony set for WWE Raw

An Alpha Academy graduation ceremony for Maxxine Dupri has been added to the Monday, July 10 WWE Raw lineup. 

WWE has announced that after Dupri’s winning performance in a six-person mixed tag match on the July 3 Raw, that Chad Gable and Otis of Alpha Academy will hold a graduation ceremony for Dupri on the July 10 Raw. 

Gable, Otis, and Dupri defeated Erik, Ivar, and Valhalla of The Viking Raiders on the July 3 Raw in Baltimore, with Dupri scoring the winning pinfall over Valhalla. 

The graduation ceremony joins a lineup that includes three matches, plus two other segments. 

Becky Lynch vs. Zoey Stark, Tommaso Ciampa vs. The Miz in a No DQ match, plus Drew McIntyre & Matt Riddle vs. Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci are set for Raw. Cody Rhodes delivering a message to Brock Lesnar, plus a face-to-face between Logan Paul & Ricochet are also set for the show.

The updated lineup for Monday’s Raw:

  • No disqualification: The Miz vs. Tommaso Ciampa
  • Becky Lynch vs. Zoey Stark
  • Logan Paul, Ricochet face-to-face
  • Drew McIntyre & Matt Riddle vs. Imperium
  • Cody Rhodes delivers a message to Brock Lesnar
  • Maxxine Dupri’s Alpha Academy graduation ceremony

Report: Max Dupri done with WWE’s Maximum Male Models faction

Max Dupri is reportedly out as the mouthpiece for Maximum Male Models on SmackDown. 

According to a report from PW Torch, the former LA Knight “rubbed some people the wrong way and wasn’t fitting in.” Vince McMahon made the decision weeks ago to remove him as the leader and mouthpiece of the group. Max Dupri will be replaced by his storyline sister, Maxxine Dupri, in the role. 

Max Dupri announced in a promo on the July 15 episode of SmackDown that his sister would appear on this week’s show. He is said to have known at the time that it would be his final performance under the gimmick. 

Sofia Cromwell (Sydney Zmrzel) was revealed as Maxxine Dupri in a segment on the July 22 edition of SmackDown. The former LA Rams and Phoenix Suns cheerleader was signed to WWE earlier this year. She had been appearing with Mr. Stone and Von Wagner on NXT in recent weeks. 

Sofia Cromwell revealed as Maxxine Dupri on WWE SmackDown

Maxxine Dupri, as it turns out, is the former Sofia Cromwell.

In a segment that aired before Friday’s SmackDown main event, Cromwell appeared, identified now as Maxxine Dupri, Max Dupri’s sister. She said that her brother had good taste, and the Maximum Male Models would debut their beachwear line next week.

Cromwell, real name Sydney Zmrzel, is a former Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Rams cheerleader who signed with the WWE earlier this year. In recent weeks, she has been seen with Mr. Stone and Von Wagner. In a segment that aired two weeks ago on NXT, she was the only one who was able to calm down Wagner after he and Solo Sikoa brawled around the WWE Performance Center.

Since making their debut earlier this month, Max Durpi (the former LA Knight), the Maximum Male Models, ma.cé and mån.sôör, have shown off their fashionwear, most recently presenting their tennis line. They have pushed the tagline as “to titillate the juices of their guilty pleasures”.

Tag team match announced for WWE Raw

A tag team match has been announced for tonight’s post-SummerSlam edition of Raw.

Nikki A.S.H. & Rhea Ripley will team together against Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler on Raw tonight. Nikki and Ripley were both involved in the triple threat Raw Women’s Championship match at SummerSlam. Charlotte Flair submitted Nikki to win the title.

Nikki A.S.H. was Raw Women’s Champion going into SummerSlam. Ripley went to hit Riptide on her near the end of the match, but Nikki countered it into a DDT. Nikki then tried to hit a top rope crossbody on Charlotte, but Charlotte avoided it. Charlotte submitted Nikki with the Figure Eight to get the win.

Charlotte & Jax defeated Ripley & Nikki A.S.H. on Raw last week.

Tonight’s Raw is taking place at Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California. Here’s the updated lineup for the episode:

  • New Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Riddle) will have a victory celebration
  • Nikki A.S.H. & Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler
