WWE Raw TV taping spoilers from Manchester, England

WWE taped tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw this afternoon in Manchester, England. Here are the results:

The show started with all of the RAW roster in the ring. Acting GM Baron Corbin said he will face Kurt Angle tonight with the winner becoming team captain for the Raw side of the Survivor Series elimination match. Corbin announced that Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman will be on the team and while she won’t wrestle, Alexa Bliss will be the captain of the Raw women’s team. At this point, Strowman entered and wiped out security at ringside, his focus on Corbin.

– The Riott Squad vs. Sasha Banks, Bayley and Natalya went to a no contest

The match stopped after Ruby Riott broke Jim Neidhart’s sunglasses, which belonged to Natalya. Bayley and Banks consoled Natalya after the incident.

– Apollo Crews defeated Jinder Mahal.

Seth Rollins came out with both the Intercontinental and Raw tag team titles. Baron Corbin ordered he and Ambrose defend the Raw tag team titles against the AOP.

– AOP defeated Seth Rollins in a handicap match to win the Raw tag team titles

After the match, Ambrose came in and laid out Rollins with the dirty deeds DDT.

Dolph Ziggler came out for a promo, but was interrupted by Elias, which led to…

– Elias defeated Dolph Ziggler.

Ronda Rousey came out and cut a promo on Becky Lynch, calling herself the “baddest b****” on the planet”.

– Nia Jax defeated Ember Moon

After the match, Tamina Snuka came out. They looked like they were about to attack each other, but then attacked Ember Moon, forming an alliance.

At this point, Baron Corbin left the arena, afraid of Braun Strowman. It was announced that Drew McIntyre would face Kurt Angle in the main event instead.

– Bobby Lashley defeated Finn Balor

After the match, Drew McIntyre came out and stared down Bobby Lashley. He then attacked Finn Balor.

– Drew McIntyre defeated Kurt Angle

McIntyre submitted Angle with an ankle lock. After the match, Ziggler came out to attack Angle but Braun Strowman returned and helped clear the ring to end the show.

WWE cancels Manchester Arena NXT show in the wake of bombing

WWE has decided to cancel the NXT house show that was scheduled to take place at the Manchester Arena on June 6th. The company announced the news today, noting that the decision was made out of respect to the victims of the awful terrorist attack that happened at the venue on Monday.

NXT wrestlers will still be in Manchester on June 6th to visit people who were affected by the bombing and WWE is making a donation to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund. Those who purchased tickets to the event are being offered a full refund and can receive a free ticket to the NXT show in Leeds on June 7th.

The Manchester show was part of NXT’s tour of the UK. The rest of the tour will go on as scheduled, including three dates at the Download Festival in Derby, England from June 9th to the 11th.

WWE previously released a statement saying that they were working with local authorities to decide the appropriate course of action.

The next WWE shows at the Manchester Arena will be a Raw taping on November 6th and a SmackDown taping on November 7th.

Earlier this week, Impact Wrestling also canceled a watch party that was supposed to take place in Manchester tonight. Impact offered full refunds and were making alternative plans for fans to meet Jeff Jarrett and Jeremy Borash, who were supposed to appear at the fan event.
