Report: Maximum Male Models, Los Lotharios moved to WWE Raw

Five members of the SmackDown roster have reportedly been moved to Raw. 

According to a report from PWInsider, Maxxine Dupri, Mace, and Mansoor of the Maximum Male Models as well as Los Lotharios, Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo, have switched brands. 

The Maximum Male Models had been assigned to SmackDown since the act debuted last summer but were shown in a backstage segment on Raw last week. Dupri appeared to take a particular interest in Otis after Alpha Academy walked by the models in the hallway. 

Los Lotharios and Maximum Male Models were both eliminated in the first round of the recent tag team title contender tournament on SmackDown. The models lost to Legado del Fantasma and Los Lotharios lost to Hit Row. 

The two teams join a Raw tag team division that includes The Street Profits, Anderson & Gallows, Judgment Day, and American Alpha. Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin have teamed together twice recently on WWE programming as well.   

Andre the Giant Battle Royal, IC title match set for WWE SmackDown

The annual Andre the Giant Battle Royal, as well as an Intercontinental title match, has been announced for next week’s SmackDown.

For the second year in a row, the Andre the Giant Battle Royal will be held on SmackDown as opposed to the WrestleMania pre-show. Meanwhile, Ricochet will defend the title against Humberto and Angel of Los Lotharios after both Angel and Humberto defeated him in matches tonight.

People shown in the match graphic for the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle royal include Commander Azeez, The Viking Raiders, Apollo Crews, Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Robert Roode, Jinder Mahal, R-Truth, Shanky, Reggie, Drew Gulak, Akira Tozawa, Madcap Moss, Cedric Alexander, Shelton Benjamin, and Mansoor.

On tonight’s SmackDown, Angel was able to defeat Intercontinental Champion Ricochet in a singles match due to interference from Humberto. After the match, Ricochet challenged Humberto to a match. Humberto ended up winning by count out after Angel grabbed Ricochet’s legs as he attempted to re-enter the ring from the outside.
