UFC Hall of Famer and former Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and her husband, MMA fighter Travis Browne, are expecting a baby girl.
In a Pokemon-inspired gender reveal video that Rousey posted to her YouTube channel on Tuesday, Rousey revealed that she and Browne are expecting a baby girl. Rousey and Browne had announced this April that they were expecting. Rousey is due to give birth in September.
“Our gender reveal is finally here. We didn’t want to do anything that would set hundreds of acres ablaze — or thousands even. Some people are idiots. We didn’t want to do that. So we’re keeping it simple. We’re keeping it safe. We’re keeping it Browsey Acres style,” Rousey said before the baby’s gender was revealed.
This will be Rousey and Browne’s first child together. Rousey is also a stepmom to Browne’s two sons from a previous marriage.
Prior to Rousey announcing her pregnancy, WWE president and chief revenue officer Nick Khan said during an April appearance on The Colin Cowherd Podcast that Rousey would be returning to WWE “at a certain point in time” in the future. Rousey hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since facing Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in the main event of WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
Rousey had said after WrestleMania 35 that she and Browne were trying to have a child.
