The Miz eliminated from Dancing With The Stars

The Miz has been eliminated from Dancing With The Stars.

Miz and dance partner Witney Carson were eliminated during tonight’s show. They were in the bottom two along with YouTube personality JoJo Siwa and dance partner Jenna Johnson. Miz and Carson ended up placing ninth on the show, the seventh elimination on the show overall.

Announcers on Raw, including during tonight’s show, have plugged The Miz’s appearances on Dancing With The Stars, encouraging people to vote with the idea that Miz would remain on the show and not on Raw if they voted for him.

The Miz had just started a feud with longtime tag team partner John Morrison when it was announced that he would be part of Dancing With The Stars’ 30th season. A match between the two scheduled to take place on the August 30 edition or Raw was shelved, with the Miz’s last match taking place on the August 23 edition of Raw. He lost to Xavier Woods, leading to the turn against Morrison.

WWE’s The Miz is officially part of the cast for season 30 of “Dancing with the Stars.”

The Miz was confirmed for the show as the cast was revealed on “Good Morning America” this morning. PWInsider first reported last week that Miz had been cast on the celebrity ballroom dancing competition series.

“I’m learning the Paso Doble, Argentine Tango, Waltz, and FoxTrot are very different moves than a Skull Crushing Finale or Figure Four Leg Lock,” Miz tweeted. “Honored and excited to be apart of the Season 30 cast of @DancingABC now let’s get to work. #DWTS.”

Miz turned against John Morrison on the August 23 episode of Raw. They were supposed to face each other on Raw the following week, but the match didn’t happen.

WWE’s The Miz will reportedly be part of the cast for the next season of “Dancing with the Stars.”

PWInsider reported on Friday that The Miz has been cast on season 30 of “Dancing with the Stars.” The season will premiere on ABC on Monday, September 20.

The Miz was scheduled to face John Morrison on Raw this past Monday, but the match didn’t happen. Morrison instead lost a match against Omos on the show. The match between former tag team partners Miz and Morrison had been set up when Miz turned against Morrison the previous week.

PWInsider wrote that Miz being on “Dancing with the Stars” looks to be the reason that he wasn’t on this week’s Raw.

Olympian Suni Lee and pop star JoJo Siwa have been confirmed for season 30 of “Dancing with the Stars.” The full cast will be revealed on ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, September 8.

“Dancing with the Stars” is described as “the hit series in which celebrities perform choreographed dance routines that are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts.” Nikki Bella, Chris Jericho, and Stacy Keibler have been contestants on previous seasons of the show.

UFC’s Paige VanZant finishes second on ‘Dancing With The Stars’

UFC strawweight Paige VanZant may not have a UFC title in her immediate future, but on Tuesday night, she came justthisclose to a different kind of championship: a Dancing With The Stars title.

After scoring a perfect 30 in her final dance with partner Mark Ballas, combined with a 59 from Monday’s show and fan voting, she and Ballas lost to overall winner Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd and third place finishers Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy. DiMarco was lauded for competing at a high level despite being deaf. They didn’t reveal the fan voting, but PVZ and Ballas were slightly in the lead before that was taken into the equation.

Despite a dancing background, PVZ wasn’t seen as an immediate favorite when the latest season of the ABC hit kicked off several months ago. But week by week, she continued to score big and finished consistently near the top of the weekly competitions.

Just 22 years old and coming off a devastating loss to Rose Namajunas in December, she was announced as joining the Kickboxer cast this week and seems closer to Hollywood and non-fighting opportunities than an impending UFC return.

Featherweight contender and teammate Chad Mendes was shown several times in the audience.
