AEW Trios title match set for Slam Dunk Sunday edition of Collision

After the full lineup for the special Slam Dunk Saturday edition of AEW Collision was announced, the Slam Dunk Sunday episode lineup was revealed shortly afterward.

The one hour show will air this Sunday following NCAA men’s basketball tournament coverage at approximately 11 pm Eastern and is being taped after Wednesday’s Dynamite in Fresno, California.

After winning the AEW Trios titles at Sunday’s Revolution, Mistico, Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey will defend against Konosuke Takeshita, Josh Alexander & El Clon of the Don Callis Family.

New AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions Divine Dominion will be non-title action for the first time since defeating the Babes of Wrath for the titles at Revolution.

Orange Cassidy will team with Roderick Strong against Jay Lethal and Lee Johnson.

The show is rounded out by former TNT Champion Tommaso Ciampa taking on the new-look Lio Rush after both men were involved in the National title Blackjack battle royal at Revolution.

AEW Slam Dunk editions of Collision returning in March, Zero Hour update

AEW will once again be holding Slam Dunk editions of Collision in March due to NCAA tournament coverage on TNT.

The HBO Max listings for March have one hour editions set for 11 pm Eastern on both Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22 after NCAA coverage.

Those week’s episodes will be taped in Fresno, California, after the March 18 Dynamite.

Other AEW notes from the Max listings:

  • A one hour Zero Hour pre-show will return for next month’s Revolution, listed at 7 pm Eastern for March 14 with the PPV beginning at 8 pm Eastern. The Revolution countdown show will air after that Saturday’s Collision per usual.
  • Last September’s All Out from Toronto will be uploaded to the HBO Max archives.
  • On March 27, episodes of AEW Dynamite and Rampage from 2023 during MJF’s first World title run will be uploaded to the archives.
  • All other new Dynamite and Collision will begin at their usual start times.
